The most important thing this has done for me is brought me closer to both of my sons, and helped them to grow as people. They had no idea of civic responsibility or sense of history. With my renewed interest of what is realy going on in the world has opened their eyes to what the future could or could not be.But made them see that just a few can make a difference. I am proud to be an american again and thanks to everyone.

This campaign is not about politics or even about Ron Paul, though he figures into it greatly. It is about all of us becoming empowered to pursue freedom, personal liberty and realizing the ability to make things happen. It is also about selflessness, the abandonment of ego and working for the greater good - for the Republic and ourselves as individuals. This has been pretty amazing - and, as you say, the progress is noteworthy.

Yes, RP has been the focus of this, but, as he often said, "I am joining you." He is correct. He provided the flashpoint with his candidacy, and he has become a rallying point. But the campaign is us, the people who support freedom and the Constitution.

Whether RP wins the nomination or the election is almost beside the point. We know the media and the Establishment are dead-set on maintaining the status quo. And, they may prevail for a time. But they cannot prevail forever. It takes time to change hearts and minds. Whether this can be done in time for the convention is a good challenge for us all.

What we are seeing, most of all, is a shift in consciousness; that the business-as-usual mentality will no longer stand. It is stupid, wasteful and dangerous. To continue military aggression when the country is bankrupt is insanity; more are learning this every day. In the end, we will be fine. Though we will probably take a few knocks as a country and as citizens in the process. The main thing is to keep the faith, expect miracles and not lose heart.

1. I'm not alone. Your not alone. Ron Paul is not alone. We stand together, will never give-up, and eventually could win. I won't be easy, it never is, but is worth the fight no matter how long it takes.
2. There are many of us who have come to understand that the wealth of our country is produced by the majority and being stolen by the minority. This is occurring not only by the Federal Reserve, but at all levels of government, including state and local, and federal.
3. I've come to dream about the world we could have if this was exposed and stopped. Imagine a life where wealth was cumulative, enjoyed, shared, and passed down from generation to generation. Ours for the taking by earning it, being able to keep it, and using it for the benefit of our families and all mankind.
4. My greatest joy has been the opportunity to meet you. I've met you at Meetup events, met you here at Daily Paul, listened to your wisdom, shared your occasional frustration, and been inspired by your dog-ass determination and resolve. You always make me smile, and I sleep better knowing that you are here. You are Ron Paul. I am Ron Paul. Ron Paul is eternal. I take comfort in knowing that I was here, stood beside him/you, and did my best to support freedom, liberty, individual responsibility, truth, and our quest to become better people. I can improve. I will improve. I will try harder to emulate my Hero, Ron Paul, through his example of honesty, humility, integrity, and personal sacrifice.
5. I've been reminded that the great experiment where "we the people" are in charge of "them the government" who are employed by and answer to us, has been derailed. The train has jumped track and it's long overdue to take action and get out country and our freedom back.
6. I've come to understand that we no longer have a free and honest media. The MSM serves the corrupt financial interests of corporate America, and the longterm goals of the CFR, and the Bilderbergers. Their stranglehold must be broken.
7. I value the importance of the internet. Where would we be without it? Can do you say,... Totalitarianism. If we loose freedom on-line, the game is over.

Check out the results of the West Virginia GOP convention delegate selection. Republicans who registered to participate by November 30 could either vote online, or come to a county convention.

1) Look at the totals column: In any given county, regardless of population, no more than 70 people participated. What this indicates is that any amount of political activism will have a significant effect.,

2) Proof of #1: Look at the results for Jefferson county where we had a very active MeetUp group making and hanging huge 4'x9' banners all over town and out on the street corners doing sign waves.

What's the famous quote by Samuel Adams (?) about "it doesn't take a majority to prevail, only a vigilant minority setting brushfires of truth to light the spirit of freedom",

3) In many cases, people voted for "anybody but Ron Paul", whereupon some of our stealth candidates who ran as "uncommitted" won delegate seats. Next time, we need to run twice as many candidates with half listed as "Ron Paul" and half stealth listed as "uncommitted",

4) Many counties here in WV are totally "ripe for the picking" with either no one or hardly anyone for delegate - there ARE voters in these counties - they just do not use the internet. DOOR TO DOOR CANVASS!

We have awakened " a sleeping giant" the American People I have gained more knowledge in these past 3 months about our country than all the years I went to school ! I now see things in a different light, a more sobering light........Let us all continue this rEVOLution We owe it to our children and children's children.

Ron Paul has taught me to no longer be afraid, and to challenge the status quo, even if people/the sheep will look at you as if you were crazy.
Ron Paul has taught me that the message is powerful and will be heard over and over and over again until it can no longer be possible to ignore: Freedom, Prosperity and Peace!!

It feels like the birth of a brand new religion with RP its prophet all sent by the supreme, king of the Universe, the almighty.

Oh to live in ignorant bliss again. Those days are gone. Now the hunger for knowledge drives me to learn more every day. The more I learn, the more frustrated I get. The more I learn how many other people are frustrated, the more HOPE I have. The more hope we all have, the better the chances that we can actually do something together. Jesse: When you're around somebody like this, you can’t help but be motivated to, you know, just try to strive for excellence in your own personal habits. When you see somebody sacrificing so much for his principles & his beliefs, it really just helps reinforce what you know to be right all along. That you have to stick to your principles, you have to put liberty first, you have to consider others… that you have to work hard and that you have to be diligent, and just being around Dr. Paul, I can’t think of anybody that inspires that more in other people.

Becoming involved with the grassroots effort to get Dr. Paul elected President has made me a better citizen.

Ron Paul has given me renewed faith and hope.

Dr. Paul is like a super motivational Bible Character to me. How one man who stands against Goliath with truth can have such a impact. Like King David when he was on the run from Saul a persecuted fugitive, he attracted, but did not seek out a following. "They gathered to him – every man in distress, every man with a creditor, and every man embittered of spirit – and he became their leader." (I Samuel 22:2)

Dr. Paul did not seek us out. The Talmud says Mishna Avot 2:6 says, "In a place where there are no men, rise up and be a man."

If there is someone better qualified to accept the mantle of leadership, stand aside and let him do so. But if not, if you are qualified, it is not just permissible, but obligatory for you to do so.

Dr. Paul didn't seek this race. He was reluctant. He was skeptical. He knew it would get ugly. He knew about his skeletons. Yet when his supporters drafted him, he assessed the situation and saw there was no one else, and rose up and accepted the challenge.

My wife asked me why I feel compelled to do this. I've lost clients, to spend money and time printing flyers and handing them to strangers on the street. Sometimes to my childrens embarresment. IF not me, then who? Can I stand by while plans are laid to kill millions of innocent people in Iran, for our own men to die for the cause of the dollar?
Can I be silent while everything I have believed in my entire life is destroyed before my eyes?

If not me or you, then who? It is now or never. We can not be weak, intimidated by the press, by the attempts to shame us into silence. The kooks and riff raff much like those who klung to David in the wilderness.

No! I will not meet my maker and be aksed "why didn't you do something?" "Why didn't you speak out?" I am not responsible for what others do or how they vote. But I am one and as one I can and will do what I can do. Won't you rise up. It is time to increase our efforts to fight with more vigor, to be more vocal, more visible..

The time is now to pick up the pace and "run like those intent on winning." Like a gladiator who's very life depends on it. I am certain our childrens future depends on it.

You know those same men later became known as Davids "Mighty Men of Valor." The bible tells of the great deads and battles they fought. That is what this "riff raff" group is. Mighty Men of Valor. I am honored to be a part of it.

I came to the camp after receiving a jolt that woke me up.

Before now, I never really cared for election processes because every 4 years the same sacrificial lambs were offered- both sides favoring the status quo, cut from the same cloth. Then it changed. I heard Dr. Paul speak for the first time, and it forced me to think really hard about things.

I've been off and on battlefields since I enlisted in the Marines at age 17, and more so after becoming a private contractor. When I heard Dr. Paul speak, I started to think about things and I studied and researched for almost a full month when I came home again. I came to realize that everything I had been fighting for was a lie. I had been used in the name of what I stood for, only to realize that the real reason was to fuel an agenda that went against my every principle. It was a severe kick in the gut that woke me up, and not a pleasant message of freedom and change.

I took my oath to defend the Constitution and the people against all enemies foreign and domestic, and I will never break my word. His message sparked all of this in me again, and now I am twice as motivated, and VERY pissed off.
I will do everything in my power, like you, to help this man get elected- a man who has been trying to fight for us for 30 years to stop this domestic enemy, but never having anyone to help him.

I finally found a man I can stand proudly behind to fight for what is right, for what I believe in, and not just sell myself to the highest bidder.
