Steve Parent what Ben Swann did not mention about Ron Paul Delegates, Roberts Rules, and how to win the conventions.

Steve Parent or someone using the name Steve Parent was giving out false information in the Ustream Convention pages. When called on it he disappeared.

He was the one encouraging the convention attendees in Arizona during U-stream last weekend to take an adjournment, which was the WORST possible scenario. I remember Steve Parent well during the 2008 campaign. Hmm...the upvotes on this post must have came from virgins.

In my opinion, for someone to call someone out based on their own opinion, especially someone who is helping the movement and encouraging people to learn the rules of their state, is USELESS and does not help the movement in any way shape or form. He has been on the live video chat speaking with people and we HAVE PEOPLE giving their OPINIONS and people who KNOW the system and encouraging others to learn the rules and become delegates for Ron Paul. Your last sentence speaks volumes about your character, my opinion.

that is total bs. they will fill your head with bad information. i went on the site and i called out people who were making repeated false and misleding statements and i gave links to the facts. the mods on the site defended the false info and gave misinformatin themselves and i was solicited by pyramid schemers and other salesman trying to make money off this movement. in less than 2 hrs i saw 4 people banned from the site for asking questions and not 1 of them people deserved to be silenced. i was the worst one and i was banned from the site also because i called a lady crazy for making the same false statements over and over again and new people kept coming in and agreeing with her. she admitted i was right then when i switched my screen name she started back with the false propaganda and the mods didnt say anythign to her about being wrong even though they earlier acknowledged it. seems like a set up to me

You may face consequences if you are bound to Romney or other and vote for Paul - which could be not being recognized or allowed to be a delegate for several years, fined, etc. I don't see how they can penalize a first amendment right though - I guess because it's private business?

Anyway - after everything is said and done, please tell the GOP to kiss your ass and come join me at the Libertarian Party - fine tune it - support candidates from the ground up and work to make it mainstream.

The old state GOP setting up a shadow state party should be all you need to know.

I think you can vote your conscience at Tampa, but you may have to pay a state fine. Look upon at as a donation to RON PAUL!!!!! I would gladly vote for Ron Paul bound or not and pay some state fine!

This is an emergency situation in this country, what's a stupid fine! People are already going to pay big time to even go to Tampa! What's another thousand dollars! You could flush that in one night on the town. Basically that the RNC does not recognize the ability of states to bind delegates, but that the states absolutely recognize their ability to bind them and you may face consequences from your respective state party if you are a bound delegate that disregards this binding. It would depend on your state GOP party bylaws.

can do anything. But with that said let me say this. Our Founders put their very lives on the line. So any one can beat that I will be willing to face my state no matter what they try and hand out. It is the least I can do for my country. If all the Romney bound delegates go into that Convention and get cold feet and vote Romney on the first ballot then we may as well stay home. I mean what would have been the purpose of getting the RP supporter delegates in the first place if we were not ready and willing to use Rule 38 of the RNC. I mean that does not even make sense. Romney will win enough Primary's aka Beauty contest to win the nomination walking away if all the Delegates are bound to vote for him coming from those Primary's. All this talk about "we best make sure we are right" means nothing. Rule 38 says we are right and we best take advantage of it no matter what. I did not get in this to loose, I got in it to win and we can not win unless we are willing to use Rule 38.

1) 463 delegates will be bound throughout the 2012 convention
2) 565 delegates will be bound only on the first vote
3) 383 delegates will be bound for two votes
4) 318 delegates will be bound for three votes

like Ben is correct. Nothing bound recognized by the National GOP but individuals may face consequences with their state GOP. This is good news coming from an authority on the subject.
