There's more than enough dirt on McCain, Romney, Huckabee, Giuliani, and Thompson (the Frightful Five) to make Ron Paul look far better in comparison.
We came to support Dr. Paul because we trust him. This means we have our doubts about the other candidates and we have to instill that doubt into the minds of the people.
Go negative. Spend tons of money to shine the light on the Frightful Five and their horrible voting records, tax hikes and flip-flopping. They will blast Ron Paul for it but this will only get him more attention and consideration. He will have the ability to become king-maker and the people will eat it up. We have to cast doubt on their records in order for people to embrace Ron Paul's record.
There is nothing wrong in telling the truth about Ron Paul's opponents.
I'm writing the campaign to beg them to take the gloves off.

I'm not doing anything
The effort MUST come from the campaign.
How has the MSM gone after Paul? By attacking his followers. Due to the Hannity event, we've taken on a thuggish patina and the voting public will backlash against any outside attempt to disparage one of the candidates.
But if Ron Paul is approving the ads, the other candidates will have to confront him (giving him a chance to shine) or be silent (allowing the ads to continue which would be perceived by the voters as an inability on behalf of the other candidates to refute the ad).
The other candidates would HAVE to respond. The media propagandists would have to respond.
And there would be Dr. Paul; waiting with his stellar 20-year record for everyone to see.
One more thing
This is why we donated the money. For THEM to do it. We the people should wave signs and do lit drops and call people, but Ron Paul and his campaign have the money and must show the difference between him and the others.
You can do that much more effectively by comparing records than by just spreading a message.

This is a must. Lets face it it most voters rely on there emotions more than there intellect. If the people really see all the negative and very truthful doings of "the Frightful Five" It would turn people on to the one good and decent candidate.
This is a tactic used by every candidate in every election that I am aware of. The question is do we wait for the official campaign to use this or do we Paulites start bringing out the big guns ourselves?

My preference
would be to have the official campaign launch the ads. If Ron Paul calls the Frightful Five or the Terrible Three on the carpet for their voting records or flip-flopping, he will look better in comparison.
The other candidates would have to challenge (or lash out at) Dr. Paul directly, he gets the grand opportunity to show, by comparison, how steadfast he has been in trying to reduce government spending while at the same time trying to protect our liberties.
If anyone is qualified to admonish his fellow politicians, shouldn't it be the champion of the constitution?

How hard is it to put a radio ad together about that? Imagine 40 million dollars worth of radio ads. That's 5 million dollars directed at each of the Frightful Five.
And Ron Paul could easily show all of the ways that many laws hurt minorities and show he's voted against those laws - proving that the current smearing is unjustified.

Everywhere I go in the news and the net I see more and more Paul is a racist articles..There was a huge one on the Huff Post last night..Paul better address this NOW..It's based on someone who wrote for him in some news letter he published along time ago...He should address it immediately...

If you haven't read the Ron Paul response he said his name was used without his permission by someone not even affiliated with him to promote whatever views they had 10 years ago. It was a fake, and the "reporter" who cited the false claim laughed later (and was cited by a respected reporter) that President Paul is nothing of what he has said.

I have never criticized Dr. Paul
This issue has popped up everywhere..The Huff Post got it from the L.A Times....What I criticize is the supporters who do more harm than good with some of their craziness....The primaries so far support my conclusions.....If you want to stick your head in the sand, so be it...I am co-chair of my central Pa. meet up group..We do activities that promote Paul..We do not attack other candidates nor do we harrass companies or anything else negative to hurt our candidate....It's all Pro-Paul, not anti-anything
