Apparently you have to "save target" as pdf to view.

I had a similar problem, try right clicking on the link and selecting "save target as" which will save the .pdf, then open the .pdf file from wherever you saved it. It worked for me. And an interesting analysis...not that I understood the math! But I am looking forward to further review. Thanks for posting
