Bi-Weekly Ron Paul Ad: "McCain-Clinton Legislative Outrage of the Week"

Please help me convince HQ to start ASAP to run bi-weekly ads that feature a new law or proposed legislation that McCain and Clinton supported (no problem there because both of them support the most outrageous legislation).

RP could get 6 horrifying new laws featured before the Florida primaries.

Honestly, the only argument we should be having to my suggestion is the decision on which 6 laws should be highlighted.

I say several of the ads that have been broadcast so far should be scrapped, especially the "immigration ad" that insults Muslim students. I feel the ad with the military supporting RP also doesn't explain properly why they support him (I know many who support RP in the military because he is the only one who stands up to feminist legislation that makes them lose their children and money if they get divorced).

The ads can be called "The Clinton/McCain Outrage of the Week". Two new ads can come out every week and, when anyone complains that there are two outrages presented per week instead of one, the simple answer can be "there are so many outrages that we have to present two per week all the way to the general election just to get them covered".

Also: HQ needs to keep in mind that their average voter is male and single. These guys value their first amendment more than any other demographic (and they do most of the fighting and dying for freedom). They want Internet freedom, especially the right to be anonymous on the Internet and to communicate with each other without background checks (Google McCain's IMBRA law).

It would be a terrible mistake for RP to assume he has this demographic "in the bag" and to start "reaching out more to other demographics" possibly at their expense.

HQ should look at what their voters want and give them more of it so more of their kind will migrate over.

As the book "The Elephant in the Room" explains, libertarians and evangelicals are often at cross purposes with each other, for instance when it comes to banning pornography and strip joints, etc. The fact is that the vast majority of American men want pornography to remain easily accessible (and oppose the COPA law that McCain and Clinton pushed through) and RP can pick up serious votes and put liberal candidates like McCain and Clinton on the spot by playing up First Amendment in this regard.

But RP seems too shy or embarrassed to seriously go to bat for us on the 1st Amendment in his ads, speeches and interviews.

This is a mistake. His anti-war stance is never going to bring more than 10% of the vote in and of itself.

Here is an example of an ad that would cause tens of millions of American men to switch their vote to Ron Paul:

Just last week, Governor Perry of Texas implemented a new law that forces men to pay a $5 tax to visit a strip club. The real insult is that this tax is collected for Rape Prevention Centers...implying that men who go to strip clubs "contribute to a rape culture". This is a massive violation of the right to free speech and assembly. The woman who proposed the law is a radical feminist in the Texas legislature. No Republican had the stones to oppose her.

Which leads me to another point: RP needs to campaign for the long haul throughout 2008 and campaign against all RINO Republicans at all levels (Senate, Congress, State Office, Judges).

Did Senator Sununu of NH directly refuse to back RP last week? Did the campaign ask Sununu for his support? Will Sununu back RP in his own campaign for reelection? If not, why not? Should we vote Sununu out of office in November?

Should a NH Meetup Member challenge Sununu for his office?
