Video Update: Newt Gingrich on the Hannity radio show recognized the Ron Paul movement ...

http://youtu.be/jjmbl_XnQiQ

... Hannity was asking Newt what Romney's first big challenge would be in the campaign from here on out. Newt said Romney has to deal with Ron Paul at the convention (At that point I was jumping up and down - LOL), and Hannity was eerily ... i'll repeat eerily silent when Newt said that .... Hannity didn't say a word after that .... It was rather awkward. I think Hannity was caught off guard by Newt saying that. Then he changed the topic to something else about the campaign.

Hannity's scared to death of the Ron Paul movement, because he knows if .... no, rather WHEN that movement takes over, it's the end of his show - LOL!

Edit: One thing I forgot to mention is not only did Newt talk about the Ron Paul forces at the convention, he also mentioned that Ron Paul won Minnesota over the weekend along with several other states (I was blown away that Hannity didn't dump that audio!). Hannity was floored, I think he was in utter shock wondering how that info got out on his airwaves.

One of the reasons he cant tell the truth

Theres an obvious conflict of interests going on here. Hannity broadcasts on premiere networks, which is owned by clear channel communications, which in turn is owned by Mitt Romney's bain capital. Its true, look it up. Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck also broadcast on Premiere Networks. So if anyone says we're conspiracy theorists or something for saying theres a blackout of Ron Paul this is a easy way to show them that the media is all owned by people or groups who have their own agendas.

I used to think that Glenn Beck was moving in our direction

It has been almost a year since I listened to his show - but he kept seeming to come close to our position but then would move away. Perhaps it does have something to do with Premiere Networks.

Glenn Beck started GBTV...

Glenn stated many times that his hands were tied by corporate. That is why he left Fox and started GBTV. However, he still needs his revenue from radio to keep GBTV afloat for now. Hopefully, more and more people will subscribe to programs like Beck has on the internet, where the real news can be found, if you look for it.

I also completed a survey from Beck asking questions about broadcasting from cable TV again as well as the internet. He is looking for more outlets.

What's wrong with returning

What's wrong with returning the favor and just ignoring Hannitty, O'Reilly et al? Are they worth paying attention to? Will they matter in the long run?

Three strikes, FoxNews. You're out.

I used to watch Fox. Then during the last election season, when they excluded Ron Paul from their debate - Strike One.

I started to watch again once I became aware of Glenn Beck's program, where I was grateful to have certain things brought to my attention. I'd even end up leaving the tv on, so there I was again, a Fox viewer. I did begin to question things concerning Glenn's priorities. Still, I watched. Then it ended, under curious circumstances - Strike Two.

I watched Fox for coverage of the primaries. The media blackout on Ron Paul - Strike Three.

Nice knowin' ya!

Also strike 4 Freedom Watch got cancelled. If Judge Nap ever gets back on the air we NEED to make sure he gets great ratings.

I heart Judge Napolitano

Agree. But this time I'll put my tv on a timer to make sure the screen goes black once he says, "From New York, defending freedom..." :)

It was odd how that program ended. Very odd.

I enjoyed Glenn Beck's television program - I was a regular viewer.

Dittos

Yeah, I've had a love hate relationship with Fox as well. I used to watch b/c I liked (and still do like) Neil Cavuto. I ALWAYS hated Hannity, even b4 his treatment of RP. I was really happy when FBC came around and started watching that regularly. Stossel is great! I was happy when Beck got his show too. Beck is not really my guy, but he did have a good show and I was happy that my parents were watching it...I was holding out some hope for him too with all of "I think I'm a libertarian" talk. Then they got rid of Beck for the 5 (barf!) and FBC CX Napolitano (who was/is my absolute favorite!). Now idk. I mostly don't watch TV anymore, but I do miss it sometimes. I still watch FBC sometimes (Cavuto, Willis, and Dobbs are manageble but that's only b/c they mostly focus on economics and the market.) I have to give props to CNBC too...I may start watching them again but mostly the Web is the best. I would really like to see more Web shows. Where do I find RT? or does anyone have suggestions?

Yeah, thanks for mentioning Dobbs.

I like Lou Dobbs. I used to watch him on CNN. I loved how he called for people to stop aligning themselves with parties, how parties had to know they did NOT automatically have support from their respective herds but had to EARN an individual's favor through what they actually did. I also appreciated his bringing national awareness to the issue of the outsourcing of America. I bought his book on the subject: the list of companies was chilling. The cable package I had didn't have FNB, so he was off my radar once HE left (in that case CNN, but also under curious circumstances). I think he's a Patriot. I have mixed emotions about Stossel. I like him and appreciate things he's reported. But I've switched the channel on him more than once to see him framing complex issues as if B&W. Unlike, say, Ben Swann, I put Stossel in the category of "sound byte" journalists, whether an issue of lacking depth or his maybe just catering to short attention spans. To be sure, I heart the judge. Only indecision there: best spot for him in next administration!

Audio/Video of this?

Can someone post a video/audio of this? Since Hannity isn't being as forthcoming with the audio. I don't want to send that cheat 1 dime let alone 5.95 for a months subscription.

No show data available.

Surprise, surprise. It may never be available if something positive was said about Paul!

Gingrich reach out to Paul supporters at GA convention

I participated in the GA convention. Gingrich spoke very positively about Ron Paul's gold standard, federal reserve and agreed we should start closing some bases. He received applauses from us for that. Maybe he saw the long lines at our table and maybe words got out that we have about 700 out of 1800! It was a magnanimous gesture. Further, he went on Hannity to acknowledge our force. We should give credit to where credit is due.

He has a LONG way to go to get credit from me

He's always been an opportunist who hasnt shown morality nor an understanding of the issues. Newt is a career politician who made his fortune on the backs of the tax payers. I'm willing to give someone another chance but newt has a very long way to go before he'll deserve that 2nd chance

Just like they took over

the Tea Party movement. They think they can talk the game and we will follow. Bull!!!! Their records of supporting the banksters and the military complex are all public record. Screw Captain Kangaroo and the rest of the establishment RINO"S!!!!

It's time! Rand Paul 2016!

Politicians

A good politician will react to and reflect the moods and/or sentiments of his/her electorate. In other words, they will evolve to get votes. Great politicians move the sentiments and mood of the voters. RP is a great politician. Gingrich is a good one. But there is a lack of both in this political climate and we should appaud indications of either. Noone can trust a "good" politician, since they are only looking out for their own intersts, but that does not mean that they cannot be usefull. Gingrich does deserve credit for reaching out to RP supporters. He did this in his own campaign as well. That does not make him one of us, but it does make him better than most. Showing respect for voters is the VERY LEAST we should expect from any representative or politician. It is certainly better than fighting or ignoring us.

"When I say liberty I do not simply mean what is referred to as 'free enterprise.' I mean liberty of the individual to think his own thoughts and live his own life as he desires to think and to live..." - Robert A. Taft

Have to disagree.

Gingrich is the perfect stereotype of the sleezy politician. Give him credit for reaching out to us? Showing respect for us? No. Gingrich is pandering and that's all it is. He saw big numbers for Dr. Paul, licked his chops and went for it for himself to help put him back in the big leagues. Those before him (like Julieannie) who didn't do that... well, have you heard much from them lately? (Not that I ever want to hear from that POS again in my lifetime.)

“It is the food which you furnish to your mind that determines the whole character of your life.”
―Emmet Fox

That was my point

Yes, he is pandering, but that is the least we should expect from a politician...What's worst than a politician who adopts (ie panders to) the positions of the "majorities" is a politician who feels the need to overcome the opinions of the majority or overtly ignore and/or belittle and/or suppress them. So, as I said, I would not trust Gingrich. As you said, he is just a sleezy politician. But a politician who listens to "the people" is better than one who does not. No?

Rubio

Plus they will pick Rubio for VP. You know whose endorsement he has right?

Yay!

Yay, for enthusiasm! But give the man his props for giving us a mention on the MSM and providing us with a few chuckles at Hannity's expense. :-)

Nooo!

Do not give the Gingrich credit! He just wants the VP spot for his delegates and support. He will stab Liberty in the back for political power, even if it is as a sock puppet to Romney.

Ron Paul!

He just wants to give him credit.

He didn't say we should make him VP.

I know

I didn't say he said we should make him VP. I said Gingrich wants Romney to make him VP and is helping Paul only to the point where he will betray him later to get the VP nod from Romney. It's his snakepig-like style.

This will definitely jump

This will definitely jump start more momentum. Who would've known, Gingrich of all people could be responsible for creating more delegate momentum.
