Will it be Johnson/Paul 2012? (Subliminal shout out to Ron Paul in a new ad from Gary Johnson)

Watch this great new ad from Gary Johnson very carefully. At the end, lightning strikes a fog enshrouded DC. You will see red, white and blue letters flash briefly with the lightning bolt. They are hard to read, they flash so quickly. If you pause the ad at just the right spot, you can read the message in the lightning bolt, which is:

I love it.

Gary Johnson couldn't hold Ron Paul's jockstrap. Why are awe always digressing from Ron Paul. Let's focus on his message.

Let's Fight the Good Fight

Should Gary Johnson be on the up and up I think he would

simply throw ALL his support to President Ron Paul. Same goes for Mitt Romney and his cousin, Barack Obama. In fact, should the Managed State Media, MSM be on the up and up they would do what ever they could to see to it that the lemmings who sit around and eat while watching OReilly vomit on camera, they too would hearld the day of President Paul.

I am a Ron Paul Libertarian

fearless brave joyful peaceful loving grateful, compassionate

Gary Johnson Endorsed Ron Paul Twice

Gary Johnson endorsed Ron Paul in 2008 and when Johnson withdrew from the Republican nomination process this year he also asked his supporters to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries and conventions. However, liberty is too important to trust to just the Republican Party. We have done that for 60 years and the Republican Party failed to protect our liberties and keep the peace. So we have to be smart and look ahead to the General Election. I wish you guys the best at the Convention in Tampa in August but this movement is too important to let it end there. And it would be too late to start trying to get on the ballot in September. The state deadlines are almost all much earlier than that. We are going to have someone to vote for in November. If the Republican Party nominates Ron Paul then he is the one. But if they don't we have a backup plan and that is Gary Johnson.

I have no idea why it says RP, but the Libertarian VP candidate is Judge Jim Gray.

When I watched the first GOP debate last May in SC,

I had almost made up my mind that I was going to vote for Gary Johnson. I knew very little about Ron Paul except that he had some seriously dedicated supporters. But, Johnson was the only one that was advocating the kind of immigration policy that I had always imagine I would want to run on if I were running for president. While I disagreed with him on abortion, I was willing to overlook that because I agreed with everything else he said. But, as time went by, I began to see why he wasn't catching wind. Not only does he make Tim Pawlenty look like a firebrand with his dryness, but Johnson is an outright statist on social issues and he's made no attempt to keep it a secret. I'm sorry, "marriage equality" which Johnson is now pushing for is not a natural right, nor is it a Constitutional right. Johnson supports forcing states to accept homosexual marriage by judicial fiat. If he supports the 9th Circuit's ruling on Proposition 8, where would his support of runaway activist judges that create new rights and new interpretations of the Constitution and trample on the right of the people of the states to govern themselves, to rule themselves, and to control themselves end?

Thelma and Louise was a movie from 21 years ago

I barely remember the plot and so I didn't get the reference...

Wikipedia Helped Me Recall Thelma and Louise

I had heard of Thelma and Louise but like you could'nt quite understand what the tie-in was. So I looked them up on Wikipedia and refreshed my memory. It was a movie from 1991 that featured two women who ultimately drove into the Grand Canyon. I think the Gary Johnson campaign is reaching out to older voters to bring them to join with the younger libertarians who have been recently enthusiastic about Ron Paul and his message of peace.

Linda Cross's picture

Here is another, not so subliminal!

This one says "The fight for Liberty is bigger than Ron Paul, is bigger than Gary Johnson, Liberty needs all of US" at almost minute 2.

If you see something, say something, the government is listening.

RP = Rick Perry

Ad was probably made by GJ's daughters

Ok, we have seen it now. They want to have us on board. I understand.

Talk AFTER Tampa, if you are abstaining, writing RP in or voting for Gary.

Next stop: Tampa (ok, we stop for some state conventions too)
If we win or not, we have to fight for our goal.

Here's a SUBLiminal Message...

...For a guy who looked "stoned-on-his-azz" during early debate.
RON PAUL..The Only One!...GARY WHO?
...Doesn't really matter...he's irrelevant...why?
LOOK: at the "enormous" (LOL) funding he's garnered.
Dr Paul's last moneybomb dwarfed Johnson's entire campaign stash.
WHAT: does this mean?....possibly that he's got no real support.
his supporters who lurk...post..and agitate at the DP,do so at his behest...and they'd be better off getting more active for him, instead of running interference here.
There are many here who probably will vote for GJ if our POTUS-PLAN is sabotaged by the establishment....will I do the same?
ANSWER: I'll cross that bridge IF and whenever I cross it.
MEANWHILE: Could we refrain from further 3rd Party discussions?
... at least take a break on this...and concentrate on what really matters..DELEGATES...POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
Put DOWN the BONG and FOCUS! Hahahha!

Stop it

Look I'm willing to stop talking Johnson if your willing to stop dogging him. Ron Paul himself said when they first started to say " your not going to win. Do you have someone that you think you would endorse that is running." "Not really Gary Johnson is the closest to my principles." I want Paul to win and I will stop talking Johnson til Tampa. Paul is doing phenomenally and with rule 38 I expect to win. This does not mean I don't have a second choice if the " Athen's" political strategy continues in the GOP.

it's rich for a Ron Paul supporter whose opposition usually takes cheap shots at us, calling us "potheads" and saying all we want to do is legalize pot to use a weed joke against someone who holds similar ideals to Paul's.

Am I saying vote for Johnson? No. I'm saying if you have to criticize him, do it on something substantial...don't use the same insults those filthy neo-cons use to discredit us.

What is this doing here?

Vote me down, I don't care, but I do NOT come to the Daily Paul to cheer Johnson. I don't care about him or his platform. I'm a NBP - Nobody But Paul.
I can't see Ron Paul wasting his time being anyone's VP. He's the leader of the second greatest movement this country has ever experienced: the Liberty Movement. Why would he play second string to anyone?
I look at this thread and think, "This belongs on the Daily Johnson."
And if there isn't one, Empireisalwaysevil, you can go create one.
I have one goal: President Ron Paul
I have one thought: President Ron Paul
No distractions. No diversions. No flip-flopping.
President Paul! President Paul! President Paul!!!!!!

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.

That's more like it

No attack just the facts way better.

Anyone who champions liberty

Anyone who champions liberty is welcome here if you ask me. I am also an NBP, as you say.

I was surprised to see "Paid

I was surprised to see "Paid for by Gary Johnson," because the ad is very amateurish. It is slow paced. There is no narration. The message is all text. The visuals alone have very little message or impact. And what demographic does the Thelma-and-Louis reference appeal to?

It does contain "GJ RP" in the lightening flash. What is up with that? There is no way Ron Paul will ever again join the Libertarian Party. To do so would be to give up. The goal is to take over the Republican Party at all levels, and the plan IS WORKING.

November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul

Seems like we're getting it from

all angles these days. This must be a good thing. :)

I don't think it can really be considered an easter egg because it's so obvious it would be impossible not to spot it if you watch until the end.

I think he mostly sees the RP supporters as a huge opportunity to capitalize on. He wants to get enough of the vote in the general election to put the Libertarian party into the mainstream which isn't really a self-interested goal so you can't blame him. He also looks up to RP so that may have something to do with it.

egapele's picture

I am not some sort of commodity for him

to capitalize his campaign on so he can go "mainstream."

It's very simple:

That's why I'm not really a big fan of this ad, specially after his tweet the other day. Not voting for Gary Schlongson.

Can he put ads like that out without first talking to Dr.Paul?

That seems like an odd thing to do without checking with the person.

accidental repost deleted, sorry! whoops

You guys do realize you don't

You guys do realize you don't HAVE to cast a vote, right? If RP doesn't get the nomination, have you ever considered ABSTAINING from the whole evil process?

Gary Johnson has no moral opposition to foreign wars and hasn't called for a single base closure in Iraq or Afghanistan. He's a beltway libtard who'd only be better than the rest by a matter of a few degrees. I thought the whole point of our movement is that we'd finally realized we don't HAVE to tolerate a goddam BIT of evil anymore.

It's Ron Paul or ABSTAIN. When a room full of fools is voting whether to rape the little redhead or just kill her, you don't HAVE to participate in that vote!

Gary Johnson Would Start Withdrawing Troops Immediately

I think you may need to do some more research. Gary Johnson would immediately start withdrawing all troops from Afghanistan and Iraq upon taking office as President. This is from his website under issues/foreign policy: #1 Bring the Troops Home. American military activities in Afghanistan should end, our troops returned home, and the focus of our foreign policy reoriented toward the protection of U.S. citizens and interests.
With Osama bin Laden now killed and after 10 years of fighting, U.S. forces should leave Afghanistan's challenges to the Afghan people.
Decades after the collapse of the Soviet Union, American troops remain scattered throughout Europe. It is time to reevaluate these deployments."
Gary Johnson has never worked in the DC beltway. He was the Governor of New Mexico for 8 years and vetoed more bad bills (over 700) than all the other 49 governors combined during that time. And your last sentence is in extremely bad taste. But you can still vote no in that situation!
If you want to abstain from voting then just do so. But most of us want to vote. That is why we are here and interested in Ron Paul. I voted for Ron Paul in the Republican Primary in Florida. I did not abstain and I am not going to start abstaining if Romney gets the Republican nomination.
