Total Delegate Count So Far

Total delegate count (6 full states, 2 partial states):

Paul 92 (42%), Romney 83 (38%), Other 45 (20%).

States won (6 full states): Paul 2, Romney 4, Other 0.

Final Delegate Count by State

• Nevada: Paul 25, Romney 3, Other 0.

• Colorado: Paul 13, Romney 16, Other 7.

• Minnesota: Paul 20, Romney 0, Other 4, Remaining 16.

• Missouri: Paul 4, Romney 12, Other 8, Remaining 28.

• Maine: Paul 21, Romney 2, Other 1.

• Wyoming: Paul 1, Romney 22, Other 6.

• Alaska: Paul 6, Romney 8, Other 13.

• North Dakota: Paul 2, Romney 20, Other 6.

These counts are of supporters of the candidates, not necessarily who they are bound to. It is unclear at this stage whether some Paul delegates in some states are bound to vote for Romney on the first RNC ballot, or might be able to vote for Paul or abstain.

Early States

Between them, these 13 states send 426 delegates to RNC. Here is a breakdown as of 16 May:

• 4 states (NV,CO,ME,WY) (117 delegates) have already held their state conventions.

Delegate count: Paul 60, Romney 43, Other 14.

• 2 states (MN,MO) (92 delegates) have assigned some delegates.

Delegate count: Paul 24, Romney 12, Other 12. The remaining 44 are assigned later: 19 May in MN, 2 June in MO.

• 2 states (IA,WA) (71 delegates) have their state conventions soon.

Paul is expected to take majorities in both WA on 2 June and IA on 16 June.

• 1 state (AZ) (29 delegates) held their state convention on 12 May but there are no clear results. Paul is expected to take a majority.

• 2 state (NH,FL) (62 delegates) have no state convention date.

Super Tuesday States

Between them, these 10 states send 437 delegates to the RNC. Here is a breakdown as of 16 May:

• 2 states (AK,ND) (55 delegates) have already held their state conventions.

Delegate count: Paul 8, Romney 28, Other 19. Delegates in AK are bound on the first ballot, but in ND delegates are “free to vote with their conscience”.

• 1 state (VA) has assigned 24 of 49 delegates. 15 are Paul supporters. The rest to be decided in state convention on 16 June.

• 1 state (MA) has assigned 27 of 41 delegates. 16 are Paul supporters. The rest to be decided in state convention on 15 June.

• 1 state (OK) (43 delegates) held their state convention on 12 May but there are no clear results. Paul has been predicted to take 40 of the 43 delegates.

• 4 states (GA,ID,VT,VA) (174 delegates) have their state conventions soon: 19 May (GA and VT), 16 June (VA), 23 June (ID).

• 2 states (OH,TN) (124 delegates) have no state convention date.

...........get ready for a very hot start to the summer of 2012.

Nevada is Ron Paul 22 Romney 6

Minnestota is

Ron Paul 24 plus 8 "stealth" and 8 Romney.

RI got 25% of the popular vote and 4 delegates and 4 alternates

Rhode Island was on Super Tuesday and got 25% of the popular vote which gained Ron Paul 4 delegates and 4 alternates. Yeah...that's right "the biggest little state in the union" will be there - with guests too!

oh and Romney got 12. Ron Paul 4. And our 3 uncommitted super delegates will probably go Romney. In fact I'm sure they will - but you never know seeing as they really are career politicians and will change to suit their purposes.

Best post on here

for WEEKS.
Thank you.

Take the GOP and the country BACK.
Take the US BACK to what made it great.

The delegate counts are a bit misleading tho. Romney will wrap up NY for instance.
So tinge it with a bit more realism and it will be perfect.
Vermont, Delaware and Georgia not included.

Heck Yeah!

Let's convert the non Paul delegates! Lets send them super brochures, videos, articles, etc!

- If they're up for re-election in November then they're terrified of losing to straight ticket dems! They'd be better positioned w/ Ron Paul on ballot as he'd pull dem votes. Send web links on groups like dems for Ron Paul.

- If Christian send them Pastor Jacobs article "who is the most god fearing candidate", RP's "statement of faith", etc

- If they're scared of libertarians remind them the real battle is against socialism, fascism, & communism. Ron Paul is a republican congressman! Unbrainwash them! We're not the enemy! Their fear is misguided!

I'm making TRAVEL FUN PACKS for the our state's delegation

tote bags filled with a map of Tampa, important phone numbers in Tampa, snacks, and candies, a blow up neck rest pillow, and photo copies of some really great Ron Paul articles and a DVD. Giving one to each of our delegation before they leave. They are all hard core FOX WATCHER Romney people (except for the Ron Paul delegates)...but you never know...you never know....

Awesome idea! Just inspired

Awesome idea! Just inspired me to do something simlar!

When was the last time the Republican Party ever championed liberty and limited government?

Anything Non-Delegates Can Do To Support At This Point?

I'm in VA.

Fund raising for national delegates

That's the most practical help.

That's the spirit!

- See the post above a/b converting non Paul delegates.

- Get involved in local Republican Clubs & bring other supporters.

- See if you can get voting privileges. You could possibly still vote on alternates for this convention if in a primary state. Voting is the name if the game. And becoming executive committee members, chairmen, etc.

- Get ready to be the leaders of the party by getting involved & forming coalitions.

Working on CO here.

We will continue to increase party partiticpation for Ron Paul supporters and will continue to gain power in every avenue possible for liberty.

Contact me if you are in CO and need advice on how to get involved.

minnesota?

can you update minnesota's results from saturday?

VA

Yes, Virginia gained two more delegates for Paul on saturday as well. Romney won 7.

noticeably absent from most of these delegate discussions

is New York.

talk about being geographically challenged!

The NY GOP must be the most opaque republican party in the whole country.

I came in here armed. :)

Good call. It's true too..
