Arizona convention thuggery Detail video

Don't believe I've seen this posted here before.

Yet another video showing Arizona GOP establishment doing thuggery to Ron Paul delegates at state convention has surfaced. Also discussion of how vote counting at convention was botched up at the end of that video.

There should have NEVER been any existence of vote counting machines at the convention. Like regular caucuses, there should have been resolution to count paper ballot votes manually with candidate observers present. This is something which should've been added to proceedings in the beginning. Even though convention chair wasn't our person, it sounds like we had enough numbers at the convention to pass such resolution.

Stealth delegate approach was NOT used here.

Did you notice in the video?

Going stealth would NOT have impacted the vote negatively at all.

NOT going stealth created a more hostile environment.

The objections to the votes and ballots could have still been done under the stealth strategy.

Same comment applies to

Same comment applies to Oklahoma.

If they weren't in stealth mode at county/district level conventions, by the time they come to state it's impossible for them to go stealth. They might have already outed them by then.

Also, I think due to our successes in Maine, Nevada, Massachusetts, Virginia etc. the delegates were in overconfident - and perhaps belligerent - mode. Could that "Decorum Civility Professional Respect" crap Benton talks about have helped? Perhaps by maybe a delegate or 2, but I don't think by a whole lot. Because we're dealing with a totally sleazy/scumbag opponent, very difficult to go stealth at state convention level.

As an evidence supporting my argument: I present to you North Dakota state convention. While our people weren't exactly stealth there, they were extremely mellow compared to Arizona/Oklahoma. And the scumbags completely railroaded them all over.

I hope everyone noticed.

Romney supporters wearing Jeff Flake stickers.

Please emblazon this on your mind: Romney = Flake = Romney = Flake

Pro-liberty folks used to believe that Rep. Flake of AZ was pro-liberty. HE IS NOT.

Resign yourself to that fact and move on:

JEFF FLAKE IS NOT A FRIEND TO LIBERTY.

Flake = Romney = Flake = Romney.

I wish the Paul guy would have known the Supreme Court Justices

names when the Romney guy was quizzing him. My cheeks turned red when he said he didn't know who they were. (Sonia Sotomayor & Elena Kagan)

My impression was he was

My impression was he was feigning ignorance in order to discredit establishment guy. Because, so far establishment has absolutely NO answer for issues of monetary & foreign policy. Only "strong" argument establishment people make is Romney as president would have superior Supreme Court appointees to Obama's. - It is weak sauce in comparison. Especially considering Romney is a flip-flopper, that argument simply doesn't hold water. [And of course President Paul's Supreme court appointees would be far-far superior.]
