Gary Johnson: Peace is cheaper

Republicans are Thelma. The Democrats are Louise. Together they are taking our nation over a cliff. We have a President and a majority in Congress who insist on endless war. But a majority of Americans are insisting on Peace. As our President, Gary Johnson will end the wars and bring our men and women home -- where we will rebuild and renew our broken nation together. We the People will have PEACE. Demand it. Donate to it. Elect it. Protect it. The fight for our liberty never ends.

Your post is in viiolation of Daily Paul's posting rules

It is obviously a distraction. Sorry, we're busy working on President Paul's delegates! MOD?

Smart of him.

Nice video ending.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

Brilliant Gary Johnson Ad

Actually a very good commercial

The subliminal thing I didn't like. When you use subliminal messages, it means you are trying to deceive the people.

Perhaps

the producer of the promo set out, with the AD to create just the kind of discussion we are now having. A paid for Ad is persuasive. But, plenty of FREE publicity is a much bigger coup, cost wise and a heap of icing on the cake.

Very cool...

.. I like Gary Johnson. He's a straight up guy.

"The greatest mystery of all is truth." - Me, 2009

It was a little difficult trying to slide the

button/slide to find it but "GOGJ&RP" right before the lightning strike. I'm kinda curious how you noticed it. Interesting!

It was really difficult for

It was really difficult for me too. I'm not computer savvy so it gave me a chance to practice my very limited skills and was able to stop it at the moment it flashed, hit the printscreen button, opened paint, hit paste, and save as jpeg...That's as far as I can go LOL!! Wanted to share it here but have no idea how to... Sorry :(

MIALIZ

shh... I've got Spidey sense, and

my Kung Fu is strong. Hm!

Ha! .oD

I just caught the "GoGJ&RP" in red white and blue, real quick, and thought, no, it couldn't then I saw a commenter on the bottom also noticed it.

Actually it's a good setup, because the whole ominous thunderous day in DC shot with lots of space and nothing's happening for a second or two, which is actually a lot of empty space in a 2min ad, so I figure some letter was about to pop up, and when I saw the lightning, I figured, 'ah ha! that must be a cue for something coming up next.' and lo and behold...

in my FireFox web browser at least, the exact spot that pops up is actually at 1:59min mark.

but, I figured most will miss it, so if you start watching starting around 1:57min mark, it's easier to catch.

it's actually not a bad ad. not as 'flashy' as ours has been this go around.

Still, I frankly think Scott Horton and Tom Woods were absolutely right. Dr. Paul's message is not something anyone can convert with a typical 30sec to 1min ad. His ideas and philosophy take work to 'get.' So frankly, the BEST ads would've been the very thing that hooked us in, in the first place: Dr. Paul making EPIC speeches in the lone wilderness of House Congressional Floor with CSPAN cameras rolling. You just KNOW what follow will be some of the most profound and brave dissertation on Natural Rights, Economics, History lessons, war and peace, and the his re-affirmation to uphold his oath of office!

THAT is what people NEEDED to have seen, along with my DailyPaul signature video: Predictions in due time, cut up into a series of 1min ads.

We literally have an intellectual PROPHET who got EVERYTHING and PREDICTED everything right! NOT because he's some psychic, but because he seriously took lessons of history, and fully absorbed it!

Talk about a missed opportunity.

THAT is what was NEEDED. But it is what it is.

"Freedom is never easy in a world of tyranny" - ME

wonder if the director or the special effects supervisor

of that Ad are R3VOL Dr. Paul supporters, or Gary authorized it.

Well, one thing's for certain, they believe we drink out of the same glacial spring.

It's not a bad ad, along with the metaphor use of literally 'Thelma & Louise, driving together off a cliff.'

I thought it was a great ad; the GJ campaign

does have the advantage of being able to appeal primarily to Independents; RP has the advantage/disadvantage of being in the Republican race. He has to appeal to a much more conservative crowd to win the nomination, yet that affords him the bigger national stage to spread the message of peace/liberty.

GJ & RP campaigns together add up to a lot of education and good will for libertarians. It's all good, I hope the RP campaign staff will not spread ill will toward the GJ camp. It is much wiser to support each other and make the message outreach all the stronger.

I was surprise/delighted to see such a strong peace message from GJ. I'd thought he was not so committed as this ad would suggest.
