Thank you for your dedication, Liberty patriots in Arkansas and Kentucky! (Updated 05/23)

In the May 22 Arkansas and Kentucky Presidential Primaries, Dr. Paul saw his total votes, and vote share, substantially increase when compared with 2008:

Arkansas
2008: 10,983 (4.79% of vote)
2012: 20,264 (13.42% of vote)
84.50% increase in total votes, 180.17% increase in percentage of vote

These results show that the Liberty Movement continues to gain momentum at the Presidential level, as well as downballot. Our future looks bright!

Thank you to the Liberty patriots in Arkansas and Kentucky who voted, and convinced others to vote, for Dr. Paul and our other Liberty candidates!

Also, thank you to all those here on DP who upvoted this thread and helped me to keep it bumped.

View from Canada. The media

View from Canada. The media blackout on Dr. Paul makes the media look so bad. They wanted to make Ron Paul look bad, but it has reflected so badly on them. I do not even bother listening to TV or checking out the news sites online.

The rigged electronic voting makes us all lose faith in any election results. The pathetic pair of twins Obama-Romney that have nothing to offer but the same old are not worth listening to. Romney does not even appear to have a platform and cannot discuss issues intelligently. What he says is garble meaning nothing; he will ask his lawyers for direction? Perhaps try the constitution for direction, if he can actually understand what is written. Ron Paul could take any candidate in a fair debate; he is intellectually so far above them. If the media would allow the people to HEAR Ron Paul there would be no question of who to vote for.

Those of us internationally who are watching the game play out hope Ron Paul will be president. He is the only hope among the other two candidates that have nothing really intelligent to say. But I feel this in my heart, that the spirit of the Ron Paul Revolution will carry forward no matter what happens, because it is the spirit of truth vs ego and power control driven policies. We will NOT settle for less than a Ron Paul ever again. Write his name on the ballot.

Updated the Thread title and text to reflect final results...

Same story Ron Paul will win the majority

of delegates in Arkansas and definitely in Kentucky... That's all that matters...It will bare out the Diebold fraud.

Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow

My own rambling observation about Arkansas

So many people here are fed up with Obama. I honestly believe that if this John Wolfe character hadn't popped in, all the votes that went to him would've gone to Ron Paul. All I heard when I did Phone From Home was how much people want Obama out of office.

Keep in mind, Phone From Home only has you calling registered Republicans.

Part Two....even though the people here definitely want Obama out, most of the Democrats here really don't want a Republican in the White House after GW's regime. People here still talk about what a bad president he was, too.

If we could find a way around the media blackout there would be so many more people supporting Ron Paul.

I wish Peter Thiel would use all that wonderful SuperPAC money to make commercials *for* (and approved by) the campaign. Ones that would play in big slots, like during CNN breaks.

Legally, you can't.

Legally, you can't. SuperPACs can't associate or consult with the official campaign.

Last night Romney 27, today Romney 227.

I saw this post last night, Romney was 3rd in Trigg Co. with 27 votes, today they simply added a deuce in front of it to make it 227. Why didn't RP use this strategy???

No, he didn't

CNN shows Romney with 227 votes to Paul's 44.

Results were incomplete when LLStarks posted...

... What he said seemed accurate at the time.

so much for this subthread

and all of our speculation

COnfused

Trigg county says Romney won. I see only Romney wins on this link. :(

"When I say liberty I do not simply mean what is referred to as 'free enterprise.' I mean liberty of the individual to think his own thoughts and live his own life as he desires to think and to live..." - Robert A. Taft

very odd

that Romney gets 19% in Trigg county and all neighboring states he gets 65%+. I would think he would get much less in some of the neighboring counties.

Almost looks like someone forgot to load the nested program in Trigg county. Trigg county count looks more legitimate than the other counties.

Looks really fishy.

Gold standard: because man can not be trusted to control his greed

It was an issue of very few voters showing up

They barely had more than 100 voters cast ballots. When you're dealing in small numbers, you get much larger variances in the results. Some counties with low vote counts had Romney in the 50s. Some had him closer to 80%. And in this one county he lost. In counties with large numbers of voters, there is little variance. Most counties with several thousand voters had Romney in the high 60s.

If you are right then Romney

should have 70% of the delegates at the state convention. This is where things just don't match up. Paul delegates are being accused of stealing state conventions. But could it be Paul actually wins the Popular vote? The state conventions can be no other than Paul majorities, when he actually won the popular vote.

Wouldn't doubt that Paul will lose his own Congressional district badly. The vote riggers won't be able to resist in trying to embarrass Paul. But when the delegates are chosen Paul will have 100%.

The way I see it Paul should win his own Congressional district and at least carry 50% in neighboring districts. If there is anything different it is positive prove of voter fraud. Paul's numbers should match up really close to the vote count when he runs for his CD seat.

Gold standard: because man can not be trusted to control his greed

that doesn't logically follow, though

There's no reason to expect the attendance at a state convention to be in the exact same proportions as the turnout for a primary vote. The Paul campaign is making such conventions and caucuses such a major part of their strategy, and his supporters advertise such events quite actively and encourage other Paul supporters to attend. That is not really something the other campaigns focused on as much. It is natural to expect Paul supporters to turn out in higher proportions to these events than their original vote share.

Ron Paul won't necessarily win his own Congressional District. He certainly might - but he's not running for reelection, he's running for nomination to be President, and currently everyone in the country outside of Ron Paul supporters believes that Romney is winning or has won. So he will lose plenty of votes for that reason alone. I think that's the district in Texas where he is likely to do best. He had been pretty consistently around 10% in the polls in Texas for a long time, though. Now he's not campaigning in upcoming primary states, and a lot of people think he's dropped out of the race entirely. There is very little chance he finishes with much more than 15% of the statewide vote. He'll probably do better in his home district, but will that really mean he passes Romney? I don't think that's necessarily the case. There's no real reason to expect his vote share in these circumstances to match his vote share when going for a CD seat in completely different circumstances.

Could be, Shazad...

... but is there something special about Trigg County? Is it dominated by a college town?

A Constitutional, Christian conservative who voted for Ron and stands with Rand

just from a quick Google search

there doesn't appear to be any particular demographic reason for the result. At least, they don't differ that strongly in demographics from other small towns in Kentucky or from other nearby towns.

In counties with fewer than 200 votes cast, here are the percentages of the vote received by Romney:

68, 61, 51, 59, 55, 81, 68, 58, 56, 64, 53, 70, 49, 60, 58, 64, 73, 62, 19, 62, 53, 70

There's just naturally a large variance, and a small number of votes one way can make a big difference in the percentage in any given county. In a small town, if you get 20 friends to come with you to vote for a specific candidate, it's going to swing the outcome by 10 to 20 percent, while if you live in Lexington, KY, the percentage won't really change at all even if you have a bunch of friends come with you.

In counties with several thousand votes cast, here are his numbers:

68, 68, 67, 72, 69, 66, 69, 69

The demographics in such counties are a little different from the rural counties with small vote counts, so the average is a little higher, but the variance in these results is tiny.

They threw one in to give the illusion it's fair

I can't believe a state that elects Rand Paul doesn't have higher numbers for dad...rigged!

March on Ron Paul Delegates!

RP R3VOLution

Relax Everyone

The electronic machines are rigged. Stick to the delegate strategy and we will win.

IL extended the deadline to

IL extended the deadline to become a delegate for a 2nd time... just today.

DId You expect anything different?

The same old game, You did not hear what You've been told many many times, no matter how hard You try in beauty contests we have no chance, chances are in the election process where the people are committed to get elected and move onto different level and up to take those RINO nested leaders out. The people see what is going on, that what is matter, when people are asleep there is no way to change anything, but when the people see what is going on there's a chance. Go to You state district, county, and state convention, You can put the mask of Romney supporter, but when it's time - that will be surprise

Look what's good happend in KY

Guess who got elected in Congress?

Hope all mumbling here about will finally get what is this all about,
We need to change the party, congress and senate, that what it comes down to, not to win a beauty contest, here in Texas we fighting for Ted Cruz, if You from Texas the choice is there. Are You fighting for Liberty in You state on any level.

They held us under 15% in Kentucky with Dibold machine fraud

Do we have any opportunity to recoup some delegates or did they simply lock us out period?

Only 9k votes 4 Paul in AK? I helped mail SBs too

I hereby pronounce that I do not like Arkansas and will never visit the hell hole.

Now...don't be that way

Arkansas is a beautiful place with wonderful, though uninformed or misinformed, people. Great place to visit...except in August...lol

Attention All Delegates! Break your "Binds" and vote for the Constitution in Tampa! Ron Paul 2012

hey, we did our best. what hell hole are you from?

I live in Hot Springs AR, do you live someplace better?
methinks.....NOT!

I don't blame you for being mad

BUT Arkansas is actually a wonderful state. There are good people here. They're just misinformed, like the rest of the country.

There's also a lot of money here from Wal-Mart, JB Hunt, Tyson Foods, etc. With money comes greed, and the greedy.

Actually, we have the very rich and the very poor. It's sad to see.

I just woke up this past December. There is definitely hope for others.

Last I checked, Ron was at

Last I checked, Ron was at 11% in AR..but, as I went to a GOP party for a state senator, a man in the parking lot said, Oh, I see your RP signs, I sure would have voted for him if he had not ended his campaign". I told him he still was running, but the polls had closed, so no sense in making a big deal about it. He said, "He was still in? Well, he wasn't on the news anymore at all". Regardless, I harangued him for 5 minutes for not voting at ALL and not keeping up with his responsibility as a PEOPLE, to help run this country. It was all I could do.

But They Still Vote For Santorum and Gingrich?

I don't buy it. Look at the votes guys - look how the vote is distributed - almost machine percentage allocation-like hunh?

I am certain that the GOP is cheating using electronic machines.

Inthe next several weeks I will be contacting my respresentatives and ask they sponsor legislation that would allow people to vote by paper and be able to take pictures for proof of their vote. In other words when you walk into a voting place you can choose electronic or paper - and campaigns can have a rep. witness counting of the votes.

Paper

We did have the option to use paper ballots (and my family did) where I voted. If those votes were counted is another story.

It would be very simple to make sure our votes were counted, but the states would never agree with it. All they'd have to do is give us our receipts with our initials at the end of the receipt number and our birthdays, then post it on their states' websites-showing who we voted for.

When I did the phone bank here in AR most people did say they would be voting for Romney "to beat Obama", but the ones that consider themselves devout Christians said they would be voting for Santorum anyway. One guy flat-out told me, "I ain't voting for no Mormon" (he was funny, not rude).

Santorum would've won this state if he hadn't dropped out, I have no doubt about it.

I was given a retirement town to call when I did the phone bank, so it was people from all over.
