I believe that Romney could actually end up being much worse than Obama.

Probably not

Since the question is "COULD Romney be worse?", I answered yes. Sure, he could be. I doubt he would be.

Then again, we're talking somewhere between 0 and 2 on a scale of 1 to 10 for both of them, so not sure it really matters.

Loaded question....

... That's like saying "what's worse, getting stabbed in the eye with a dull knife or getting a finger cut off with a dull knife". I don't even know how to answer this since they are both so awful.

Lesser of two evils....again?!

Screw both of them. Ron is still in. I will say; however, that if it comes down to twiddle dee or twiddle dumb, I am taking my ball and leaving. When the country has had enough and push comes to shove...I'll be here to do my part.

Romney is Worse

Here is why.

1) They are no different on all the major issues that interest us. Issues pertaining to increased spending and civil liberties and war.

2) If Romney is elected that means there is ZERO chance of running a libertarian minded GOP candidate in 2016. It will be Romney vs some other democrat hack. If Barry Soetoro is re-elected there will be no incumbent in 2016.

3) We know Obama as he has shown his true colors. Romney is the ultimate unknown. Who knows what that meglomaniacal flip flopping android will do once elected.

Good points.

Hoping more people realize this, and vote for Ron Paul today in Texas.

One plus for Romney

One plus for Romney, IMO, is that he won't be known as the "Peace/hope/change" guy. We'll expect a full on pro-war, unapologetic neocon and no one will be surprised when he acts that way or makes certain policies.

It doesn't, though, net any better for our liberties, our economy, etc.

To restore America, we must keep the GOP alive, and Romney can do that better than Obama IMO.

Dr. Ron Paul is winning, Romney and Obama should just drop out.

A vote for Romney is a vote for Obama.

Romney will be worse -- and so will Obama.

Every one of the bankster-owned puppet-Presidents builds on the evils of his predecessor, repealing nothing, and enacting new atrocities of his own. So you can bet that things will be worse if Romney is elected -- just as they will continue to get worse if Obama is elected.

The two-party system has worked this way for many years -- Democrats eating away at economic freedoms and Republicans eating away at civil liberties, both parties absolutely united in their conviction that government -- not you -- should be in charge of your own life.

It isn't "evil Democrats" or "evil Republicans" like Obama and Romney who enslave us; it's the people who teach us that the gang named "government" has a right to do things that "ordinary" people cannot do, and that "ordinary" people have a moral duty to obey their "laws."

Irrelevant!

Irrelevant! He still stinks just as bad!

When Fascism goes to sleep, it checks under the bed for Ron Paul!

Puppet show

Both of these men serve the same master: money. Whatever the money says they do. This is why Ron Paul is so dangerous to the PTB, his heart is not for sale.

I have always thought the actions of men the best interpreters of their thoughts.

Hard to say

But I don't believe he could be worse than Obama. That being said, I absolutely refuse to go against my principles and vote for Romney. I walked into the voting booth last time, held my nose and voted for McCain. Never again.

It is time to take a stand against the corruption in washington. If not me, then who? If not now, then when

It would be hard to be worse

It would be hard to be worse than Obama, but we aren't fighting for the Republican establishment. Eight years of another Republican hack is intolerable and will set the Dems up for another pendulum swing using the "first woman of color" or some such crap.

I'm abstaining and voting down the irrelvent distraction

Focus. Let me guess... the next question will either be: Ron paul supporters- Who are you guys? Or a set up on another Gary Johnson lecture. Focus. We need working solutions, not arm chair garbage.

Does it really matter? Both take the dollar over the cliff

Ron Paul doesn't and I do not understand why this independent report is not showcased on his 2012 campaign website.

Didn't Paul say Romney would

Didn't Paul say Romney would be a little better than Obama?

But in my opinion, Presidents since JFK have been progressively worse each time. It's all part of the incrementalism.

I have a feeling attempting to answer this question...

will likely tear the space-time continuum and propel us all into an infinite black hole which would oddly sound like a galactic toilet flushing.

UGH

What a terribly hard question. Is evil worse than evil? Well, yes in a way I suppose. I guess I would have to say yes, I believe Romney would be worse than Obama.

The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion.

In light of how the basic

In light of how the basic narrative goes with my long lost GOP, Obama is a "socialist" bent on destroying this nation... and we just can't tolerate 4 more years. As for Romney, he's the Republican, so he is bound to be better than Obama... right?

Here's my take - I'd rather deal with an obvious philosophical enemy in power when the crash happens, than a false savior. Push comes to shove, there ain't a whole lot of difference between them. So if those are the only possible options, then who gives a crap.

Well....

I wouldn't compare them to poop that is just being nice, however I have been thinking. Dr Paul said Obama has created a bond bubble. Romney hasn't acknowledged this fact and IF Romney unfortunately becomes the nominee he would be the perfect fall guy to blame the bursting of the bubble on :-)

It is like debating

dog poop or cat poop. Which is worse? You don't want either of them on your shoe......or the White House carpet.

Same.

Same.

"Where liberty is, there is my country." -Benjamin Franklin

Conceivably.

Romney has no agenda of his own, nothing to distract him from getting the job done. And what job is that? Why the job of implementing the New World Order. OTOH Obama is a died-in-the-wool Marxist and I think that distracts him from doing exactly what the big bosses want done.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

I'll answer you this way...

I didnt think Obama could be worse than Bush. Didnt think a lot of things before the 'quickening'.

peace.

A Romney win is WORSE for us in the R3VOLution, here is why.

An Obama win = 4 years and done. Then its Rand/Napalitano 2016 vs JebBush/Rubio 2016. That is why we must crawl deep inside the GOP machine and take up all the positions of power. Do it, get it done.

A Romney win means the GOP will be calling for another 4 years for "President Romney" and our R3VOLution is delayed a total of 8 years!

American cannot wait that long. America needs to free herself for good.

From a foreign policy

From a foreign policy standpoint, the team of neoCON advisers WIllard has surrounded himself from Bush's band of criminals is quite chilling. I sincerely think that our planet would be a glowing, radioactive cinder if McCain had been president. Remember how he wanted to bomb the Russians as they moved reinforcements into Georgia? "We are all Georgians now".
Remember how Mitt wanted MORE Gitmo's, not less? These guys are all NUTS.
He might delay our economic death longer than Obama would, but I'm torn if that is worth WW3.

At a minimum Romney will be as bad as Bush & Obama

Likely he will be worse...which is evident in the knowledge of his supporters. What I mean is this: His supporters want to replace Obama, yet when questioned how Romney would be different they offer no specifics. They are pushing to replace Obama with, a man who holds identical political beliefs as Obama (and Bush) which is the dismantling of the US Constitution, the Bill Of Rights & a steady path toward world government.

james williams

They work for the same elite

So the difference will be minimal. Often Republicans can get away with more than Democrats as there will no opposition to big government tyranny.

4 more years with Obama is much better than 8 years with Romney. At least we will have a very good chance in 2014 and 2016 if Ron Paul does not get to the White House this time.
