Liberty in the Philippines
Hey guys...
Well, the campaign is over and the original "Philippines for Ron Paul" website didn't get much response. Sad, really.
Anyway, with the Ron Paul campaign transitioning into the Campaign for Liberty, so too are we.
Our new site is "The New Commonwealth," an on-line newspaper and Internet portal offering traditional perspectives and political-economic solutions to current events in the Philippines. Libertarianism with Filipino characteristics.
Its nothing but blogs and links right now, but we hope to have something like mises.org or lewrockwell.com so Filipinos can see that there is an alternative possible for the country, not just liberty as a "foreign thing."
We really need help in setting up a real community, not just a bunch of hermits talking. We're based in San Juan so if you live around there, you can meet up with us.

Where to look?
I know this is the wrong place to post but I have been spending a lot of time sorting through long reply lists of a lot of posts that don't seem related to what I am looking for. Can any one let me know what is the best location on this sight to find information about how to influence local government about the movement? Help me learn more about the upcoming events and plans for the elections? How to just focus on the topics that is curtail to the debates? I am not a politically savvy person as of yet, but I really want to learn and I love what I have seen of Ron Paul so far after the convention in Minneapolis. I want to make a difference so this campaign stops being sold to the public as a bunch of young inexperienced extremist who only support conspiracy theories. Can anybody reel me in?

"Conspiracy theory" has received a negative connotation from the "mainstream" media and their War Party government controllers. Today it is essentially a pejorative label that is employed as a self-reinforcing psychological mode of control, along with a host of other terms, to limit "acceptable" opinion, place arbitrary and artificial limits on free and rational debate, and to effectively end debate on a given subject.
Please withdraw your tacit support from this NWO mode of control. Think for yourself, like Ron Paul does.

I have news for you. Ron Paul mentioned 'New World Order' in his speech on Wednesday and even referred to this term being used by Bush sr.
Now, many of you feel the 'psychological' messing with our minds by the media and get all concerned we won't be heard. Believe me, we are being heard and its not because we are 'silent', its because we are vocal.
This movement is not for the feint of heart, it brings in many, many views based on enormous evidences. To deny that is absolutely crazy and will make you crazy!!!!

I sure hope it was just a lighthearted comment; in the current climate animal rights advocates and sympathizers would be outraged. The blimp was totally cool and captured the joy of the Campaign; using a sensitive, live animal wouldn't send a good message. I noticed in this election the old donkey/elephant symbols aren't being used much.

While I am posting, the page re-adjusts itself sometimes right in the middle of typing and I have to scroll back up to finish, or sometimes the page decides it's just going to go back to the article all by itself and I have to start all over writing a new post. I still get random mysql messages and other wierd PHP stuff happening too.
