US Senate Candidate Glenn Addison, "I am very troubled by the extremely close ties between Ted Cruz and Goldman Sachs. Billions of taxpayer dollars have been put at risk protecting reckless gamblers masquerading as investors. Goldman Sachs was one of the worst offenders that got bailed out. I see no evidence that behavior has changed — and already in the media there is talk about another round of bailouts. How can Texans possibly trust Ted Cruz to look out for their best interests? The connections between Goldman Sachs and Ted Cruz are unreal. They are like conjoined twins connected at the head."

I mentioned it here

a couple times.

It seems some people are concerned about it, and others here are surprisingly ambivalent about it.
I can't imagine why, since GS is like the damn anti-Christ and is the same money behind Romney, but apparently this doesn't bother some people.

Ron Paul is on that list

I await Glenn Addisons hit piece

https://twitter.com/#!/Agonzo1

Paul $6,000 vs. Romney $528,180

That's quite a gap to bridge. The comparative amounts speak volumes.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

so youre

Defending evil banks because it isnt as much? Shouldnt Ron Paul return that evil corporate banker money???? So much for principles!

These demogogue tactics are ridiculous. Addison lost a fan with that line of attack. Good thing i didnt vote for him.

No more than he should return the $5,000 from Stormfront.

The media made a big issue out of the donation Stormfront made to Dr. Paul's 2008 campaign. His response was that he does not agree with Stormfront's ideology but if they want to support Liberty he will put their money to good use. The same is true of Goldman Sachs.

Money in and of itself is neither good nor evil, that is the province of the individual human being. Insofar as the amount given to Ron Paul vis-a-vis Mitt Romney is concerned, the phrase "damned with faint praise" comes to mind. The $6,000 was chump change and in some sense derisory. LLoyd Blankfein probably tips his chauffeur that much for opening the car door. The donation to Romney however looks more like an investment.

I agree with you about the attack by Glenn Addison, it was ill advised. You do appear however to be making the same kind of attack on Dr. Paul. I trust you can see the point I have made about the effect of the donation on Dr. Paul's character or his practice of never seeing a lobbyist. I doubt he even knew about it.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

Desperation.

A man should be judged on his own merits.

By demagogueing any issue, any and all persons can be character assasinated by anyone.

The question is, "How does Cruz stand on the issues?"

Did Paul jump on the Bain Capital band wagon when all the other candidates did?

NO !!!!

Paul said that there are infinite reasons not to support Romney and his skills at Bain are not one of them. He called it a distraction from the real issues.

Carry on.

Its hard to trust anyone

Its hard to trust anyone nowadays.

if this is true?

if true then why did both Dr.Paul and Rand Paul endorse this Ted Cruz?

freedom420

good question

any answers?

betty

"shocking"???

I couldn't think of anything less shocking

a nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat

addison is nowhere close to winning

Sorry, he sounds like newt now

Well, Addison has my vote

He's known to be a good man, and he's a Constitutional Conservative who has pledged to serve one term - and come home!

"Perhaps" he felt the need to at least speak out about the some of the true issues involving his opponents - - - I most certainly do NOT hold that against him!

Cruz is soon to be History

....Gone!
GoldmanSucks is ready to "tank", and with that event so will all of Teddy's campaign money...PAC Cash, etc.
On a positive note this financial firestorm will wake the sleeping masses and put Ron Paul in charge.

"Beyond the blackened skyline, beyond the smoky rain, dreams never turned to ashes up until.........
...Everything CHANGED !!

I'm recalling it's JP Morgan...

Goldman Sachs seems to be doing well enough to contribute heavily to whomever they can influence...
