Texas Primary May 29 - The Name Of The Game

The name of the game is taking over the party. The Texas primary is May 29th and we need to elect as many liberty based congressmen, senators, sheriffs, etc. as possible. A lot of you have already done your research and many have probably not. Please share your personal picks for the upcoming primary to make sure all of our liberty candidates are well represented. There are a lot of districts in Texas so please associate your candidates with their appropriate Senate district, Congressional district and precinct. While everyone is entitled to their own vote, we need to be as unified as possible to put us in a power position.

United we stand, devided we fall.

Don't forget to mark your calendar for the Texas State Convention, June 7th - 9th. I'll see you there!

Galveston County

Jon Roland Liberitarian for US senate. Sounds pretty good to me! Says he will follow the same principals as Ron Paul, and cites many constitutional rights. VERY cool! Gonna vote for this guy.

Thats all I have for now... haven't looked through them all... Felicia Harris looks ok, although I feel she is no Ron Paul, she is the best I have seen thus far, but I haven't looked through them all...

CD1 Matt Schaffer

Smith for sheriff.

88 More Delegate to the National Convention Needed in TEXAS

Williamson and Bell County CD-31

Please help us THROW OUT John Carter.

ADDISON For Senate

Please! The only one that endorsed Ron Paul.

Didn't Ted endorse RP?

It would make sense since RP endorsed Ted...

I am Ron Paul.

No he did

and apparently

he will NOT be...

I am Ron Paul.

Addison or Cruz?

I personally like Addison myself, But Ron has endorsed Cruz, and so has Palin. Do I vote my conscience for Addison, or vote for Cruz as not to split the vote.

I think I have to go with Addison.

I voted for

Addison after listening to Rand's interview with Tom Woods. Ted cruze seems like another Rubio.

Do your best have no expectations

He's the best candidate to carry on what people here on Daily Paul believe in.

The days of voting for the lessor of two evils

are over. I am voting my conscience. Not sure about Cruz yet myself. He could have RP fooled like many others. I don't know for sure, but I trust my associates opinion, and they are supporting Addison.

I am Ron Paul.

Recommendations from an associate of mine

These are not mine, but they come from some one I trust.

CD7 Bill Tofte
CD8 Larry Youngblood
CD10 Eddie Traylor
CD15 Eddie Zamora
CD21 Richard Mack
CD25 Wes Riddle
CD35 Rob Roark
Glenn Addison for US Senate
and of course, RP for president

Notice that Ted Cruz is not on the list. See my prior comment in this thread. http://www.dailypaul.com/235842/texas-primary-the-name-of-th...

I am Ron Paul.

Jefferson's picture

County info: This is another supporter's list that I happen to agree with for the most part. It is up to you to do your own research, and make the most informed decision possible.
President: RON PAUL

Senator: GLENN ADDISON . Glenn Addison is the most Ron Paul friendly of all the candidates. His campaign manager, Phil Pepin, is also a Ron Paul supporter.
(Sorry but I won't support Ted Cruz)

Congress #10 : EDDIE TRAYLOR

Congress #17: GEORGE HINDMAN

Congress # 21: RICHARD MACK

Congress #25: WES RIDDLE

Congress #35: ROB ROARK

Railroad Commissioner: WARREN CHISUM

Railroad Commissioner: BARRY SMITHERMAN

Supreme Court, Place #2: STEVE SMITH Steve Smith may be the most conservative, pro-liberty Supreme Court justice we have ever had in Texas. Rick Perry campaigned against him, so he must be a good guy.

Supreme Court, Place #4: JOHN DEVINE

State Board of Education #5: KEN MERCER

State Board of Education #10: TOM MAYNARD

State Senate #25: DONNA CAMPBELL

State Rep # 47: RYAN DOWNTON

3rd Court of Appeals, Place 2: MADELEINE CONNER. 2 years ago her opponent Scott Field ran some ads calling Melissa Goodwin a friend of child molesters. Scott Field has proven that he will say anything to get elected; he is probably sold out to someone you don't like. Vote for Madeleine Conner.

Travis County Commissioner #3: GERALD DAUGHERTY. A few years ago Daugherty's support for toll roads cost him in the general election. I hope he will change his pro toll road views. Overall, Daugherty is a good public servant, but he could stand to be a little more pro-liberty.

Travis Constable, Precinct 2: AL HERRERA

Travis Constable, Precinct 3: J MILLER . J Miller does not support cops tasing little old ladies. Most folks think Miller is a reasonable and nice man. That goes a long way as constable. I support Miller and encourage you to vote for him. Jerri Ward likes him as well.

Ted Cruz for Senate

Ted Cruz for Senate

Gun Owners of America Join Ron Paul and....

Endorse Ted Cruz for Senate!

Gun Owners of America

gave Ron Paul an A+ grade on his gun positions, and many used GOA to promote Ron Paul...now it gets down-voted...

Its not GOA

Addison just seems like a real person. I read his bio on the internet and he seems the most likely ron paul. Addison, unlike Cruz, endorses Paul, which means that his policies fall more in line with ron pauls. I did not see him myself but a major ron paul supporter by the name of netzorro did see him here in Tyler Texas. He said addison just held up a copy of the constitution and said this is all you need to know about me. He will strictly abide by the constitution. I don't know that much about either of the 2 candidates, but I can tell that addison seems like a very grassroots candidate. I am not going to vote for cruz because ron paul endorsed him. I'm going to vote for the person that I think is best for the job.

I have nothing personal against Addisson

He would be great for State Rep/State Senator or even congressman; now is just not his time. We need him to move forward after this election. He's not even at 2% statewide, but can grow into a great leader.

That said, Cruz has fought and won cases defending the 2nd and 10th amendments in the Supreme Court. His thesis in school was on the 9th and 10th amendments. He's the one that will force a runoff vs Dewhurst, not Addisson. By all means vote your conscience in the primary...but please consider voting Cruz in a run-off. That would be the last chance to stop David TSA Dewhurst.

Addisson is one of many that can shape texas into a more liberty minded, constitutional conservatism.

Thats exactly what ill do.

That's exactly what I'll do. I don't want dewhurst in office.

I have been told that Ted Cruz

has lots of folks bamboozled. His wife (Heidi Cruz) was apparently a member of the CFR for 5 years and supported a policy on the North American Union. Look at page 33 of this www.cfr.org/content/publications/attachments/NorthAmerica_TF... and see where she said she supports the report and its recommendations. Also, this article from Politico confirms that she was a member. http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1011/A_pit_of_vipers_...

I am Ron Paul.

Thank you George

for the link.

††† Elected to five-year term membership in 2006

††† Cruz, Heidi S.

I am Ron Paul.

Yes! Help early voting today in Texas.

Difficult to find identified "Liberty" candidates. Some are professed "conservatives" but, like most politicians , will say whatever they think you want to hear until elected and then become graft ridden, big government sleazebags.

Please identify anyone you really know that deserves a vote.

Bumpin for TEXAS!!

His name is Edward Snowden

What is Capitalism?

Last day for early voting

what is the purpose of the bump?

and the arrows on the upper left corner of the comment box? Obviously, when you bump something, it moves up in the order? How do those two things affect the thread? Thx

I am Ron Paul.

The bump

By writing a word, anything, you cause the thread to jump to the very top because the threads are sorted by last post. As for the arrows on the left I am not certain. I think that they are votes for the post or to "like" the post. Maybe someone can confirm or deny.
