I saw an expert on TV who said Ron Paul will win it all

This is what I say to people sometimes.

That's it.

Can't argue with a guy on TV, right?

Then Doug Wead is responsible

Then Doug Wead is responsible for our DOOM! He has created a paradox! Surprises, by definition, are unexpected!

He didn't foresee any unforeseen circumstances...

"I just watched a political expert on television talking about how Mitt and Obama will spend millions tearing each other apart, and that will give Ron Paul the advantage he needs to slip in and win it all. After all, the things Obama and Romney are saying about each other are true, and they're exposing themselves to Americans daily. Americans are sick of selling out and voting for the lesser of two evils."

This may be the expert on TV I was thinking of...

But I can't be sure. All I know is that it was some expert and he was on tv.

Who cares what I think, anyway!!! Some expert on tv said it - case closed!!!

Pandacentricism will be our downfall.

Funny...

because it's starting to become the norm for people to say (when referencing Ron) "You never see him on TV!"

It's called 'third-party validation'

It's the same 'trick' that a car dealer uses when they say they have to go talk to their 'manager' or 'sales floor coordinator'.

They will say they have to go and 'ask the manager' if you can make the better deal.

After an uncomfortably long period of time they will come back with a counter-offer and ask if that 'works for you?'

And since:

Nobody wants to make the salesman have to go through the effort of standing up again out of his big comfy chair and walking ALL THE WAY across that huge sales floor to talk to the 'manager' again, just because you want to save a couple hundred lousy bucks,

You decide to Just take that mysterious third-person at their word and save everybody lots of time and effort.

DON'T BELIEVE THIRD-PARTY-INFORMATION.

Pandacentricism will be our downfall.

Yep!

It's a psychological principle of persuasion, also known as "Social Proof".

Perfect!

So simple and effective.

Since the TV is controlling most people, might as well use it on them for their own good.

LOL!

LOL!

Comrade Paulistas

Comrade Paul will crush all who oppose him!

Viva La Ron Paul

Viva La Revolucion!!

Wouldn't even matter if it were true...

There was a study that said that all studies are bullsh*t. lol...

If something like this is repeated enough, regardless of lack of source, it sinks in as fact with people. Quoting anonymous studies, and referencing undetermined external sources has an air of believability.

For whatever reason, second hand information makes a stronger impression despite the greater likelihood of it being a lie. Weird.

What station were you watching?

We seek knowledge. We must know :-)

We want our country back

Every year is a year for Ron Paul!

Fox Business

But that was months ago.

Today I saw Wolf Blister AND Rachel Madcow tell me Ron Paul was going to be president.

They told me with their eyes...

Pandacentricism will be our downfall.

That seals it then. lol

That seals it then. lol

Cautious and excited

First, I am excited that someone in the press is going against the narrative that no matter how wild these conventions, no matter how many delegates Paul ends up with, no matter what else happens, Mitt Romney WILL be the nominee. It's funny that they always act as if it could NEVER happen, which is absurd, even if we are against the odds right now. The people who change the world are the ones that go against the odds no matter what.

Now, in regards to the OP, I would like to know WHERE it was said, and by WHOM it was said. I have noticed that a few people on FOX have been less likely to blow off the campaign these days, even if they won't come out and say he can win. They just say "it's going to be very interesting between now and the convention" which in journalism speak means "Holy crap. This might be an opportunity to one up our competition if we cover this."

Judge Nap's show and also someone on RT

I don't have a tv but watch lots of youtube clips. There was definitely someone on Judge Napolitano's Freedom Watch on Fox Business, also someone on RT explaining the delegate strategy said it I believe.

However, that's not the point. I saw it on tv somewhere so it's true it's true it must be true!!!

Pandacentricism will be our downfall.

LOL

Every time I think of this, I remember one of Carlos Mencia's stand up comedy routines where he talks about his mother and his mother says, "I saw it on Telemundo, so it MUST be true!"

Seriously stealing this!

Im laughing because this is

Im laughing because this is one of my biggest pet peeves. It seriously un-nerves me that people treat everything they watch on TV as gospel.
