why why why why???????
i mean on one hand this guy introduces actual amendments to reduce the size of government. that i truly respect but then he goes on that someone like Mitt Romney would be ideal to "turn the economy around" and "create jobs"
and to all the ones that will simply downvote this.... get a brain, you are no better than the mindless democrats or republicans if you will blindly follow this guy just because his last name is paul. i truly believe he is on our side (just look at all the bills he has introduced) but there is no reason to glorify him.
oh and if you guys remember.... finally got my site up and running..

Rand Paul is entitled to his opinions, but no way will Dr. Paul endorse a candidate who is for the Patriot Act, the TSA, the 2012 NDAA and the new FAA regulations allowing drones to fly over our homes.

and give similar support as Romney co-opted him into a destructive friendship in order to destroy Paul. You can't fight the eneemy while being in bed with him and praising him at the same time, as the campaign has done.

Rand was talking about Biden's comment concerning Romney and Bain Capital and that he would prefer someone that had a track record of managing businesses that were in failure than someone like Obama for President. He was not endorsing Romney for President but simply stating his policy preference between Obama and Romney.

Agreed, I think people are jumping to conclusions on this and have taken what Rand said out of context. Yes, it is disturbing to see Rand say anything positive about Romney, but I wouldn't consider it an endorsement. Even Ron has said Romney has "management skills", at least when compared to Santorum or Gingrich.

Bennett was on vacation. Most of the interview dealt with the budget and taxes.
The host asked Rand to what did he attribute the increased interest/discussion of the Constitution over the last few years. He went on to cite the 2008 debates and rattled off the names McCain, Huckabee, Romney ..." Rand said "I think you left someone out..." Naturally, Rand gave his father much of the credit.
The host had to know exactly what he was doing! Who on earth would bring up the increased interest in the Constitution and not include Ron Paul among the list of candidates? Jerks.

endorsement of Romney, merely a preference for someone who understands capitalism over a commie. Rand WILL be asked (about endorsement), eventually, however.

Actions speak louder than words...
Rand was the only member of congress to draft legislation to ABOLISH the TSA... I love that.
Rand was the only member of congress to stall the Senate from passing the NDAA... I love that.
Bottom line: If you aren't smart enough to realize that Rand is the most cunning politician (even more so than his father) in modern time and is 100% committed to shrinking government (hence giving us our freedoms back) then I feel bad for you.
Rand is working his way up the totem pole in D.C. appealing to a broad base of voters and knows how to WIN very competitive elections... (He ran for Senator... Much harder to win that seat than running for congress btw.)
He's got his s**t together and I'm not one bit worried about him. He'll be president and he'll repeal A TON of executive orders and shrink the size the government like none other.
Rand only did all that bec he and his handlers knew it wouldn't
work and it would not pass. Rand does not call out any indiv members of his party, and even says Romney is 'precisely' what hte country needs, meaning more of the same. romney's track record indicates he would be exactly or worse than john mccain, and here you have rand on this occassion and others saying how great romney is.
you have to look at the bottom line, and only what matters is that rand support his establishment colleagues and they give him a bit of room to play around with things that won't pass.

He should have said "We need someone with life long experience in the private sector and who has run his own successful business. Someone who has worked hard to limit government control over our lives and businesses as well. That man is Ron Paul!" No more Romney plugs Rand,please?

It's difficult to compare anyone to Ron Paul
Especially Congress criminals.
Compared to Ron Paul, most have their flaws. Compared to Ron Paul, most Congress criminals are terrible tyrants. I think that's what is happening. Ron Paul is so extraordinary in government that comparing anyone else to him results in disappointment, even his son.
So, even though he's one of our very best representatives in government, Rand Paul results in disappointment when compared to his father. We get angry with those we care about, even for small things; we see someone else's kid screwing up pretty bad and probably ignore it, but when our kid screws up the slightest, there's hell to pay.
