The majority of American people don't give a hoot for either country. If they don't bother us, we won't bother them; however, Israel get $4 billion a year in charity aid, untold military weapons, local and federal government contracts, the Executive branch of government running the puppet Obama show are "for Israel" Jews, Congress is bought by American Jews "for Israel", the Fed are run by Jews "for Israel" (there's $2 trillion dollars unaccounted in the Fed's books, it's believe it made its way to Israel to give them the money to "buy" our weapons--thus Israel essentially got free military arsenal from the US), a large portion of our Jewish politicians are "for Israel" and they make this vow in public when they campaign as an American politician--boldly stating such in their campaign speeches. I've never heard any other nationality politician vows support for another country in their campaign speeches. I've never heard an Irish American politician say "I'm for Ireland" or a Asian politician/Congressman say "I'm for Japan" or "China" or "Korea" or an Italian say he's for Italy. I only hear such insulting unpatriotic comments from the Jewish candidates--ALL politicians should be "for America" ONLY. We are what we say, and I think it's racist to say you're for your own kind when running for office in an multinational country! In conclusion, on the whole we are no friends to either of the two countries, but the "for Israel" Jews sure gave Israel the cousin treatment. This is fact and I am saying as such. I am against anyone group of people whose speaks of their own to exclude others.

They say less than 3% of Congress has anyone in their immediate families in the military. If more did, they'd no doubt be more careful with our soldier's precious lives. Having warmongering Congressional leaders on the front lines, well, that would be even better.

The people of all of our countries are led by elitists and not populists? "we the people" types, anyway! This is the second time the Iranians made the news, helping fight off pirates!! I bet there are a lot of Iranians who do not see us as Satan, now. They should be an inspiration to our humanity, if not our damned politicians!

Then, think about the two fishermen that died in the Caribbean, because a cruise ship was "too busy" to save their lives. I would hope that bookings would go down for that cruise line, until they make reparations to the families that lost the young men, just trying to put food on the table. I cannot say it was the US's fault. The cruise lines are run by many foreign countries, as well!

It was in reply and somewhat question form to another comment about how Iran can't be trusted because of so many of it's past actions.
I think they have been very tolerant considering. Maybe everyone here doesn't know it , but 98% of what we are told about Iran by our government and media are lies.

are beautiful. it is the nose job capitol of the world. Oh and they have awesome shopping malls and love fashion. Most people here in the west think they have to wear Burkas. Not so. they wear scarfs and they use them more for a fashion statement for the most part. They love there make up too. They do dress conservatively to a point. Not like women here with their cleavage showing etc. but they love their fashionable snug jeans and shoes as well.
Some out lying towns and some people by choice have a stricter dress code.
Women also hold very prestigious high paying jobs in Iran.
People here (many of them) are ignorant and think Iran is a sand pit and backward. Not at all. They even have some nice snow skiing. They also think it is just like Iraq. Saudi Arabia, and all the other ME countries. They are Persian. They even speak a different language. Persian Farsi. Not Arabic.

When the war drummers are out in full force, I get depressed when I reflect on the apparent inevitability of aggressive wars.
