Are you in or near Maryland?

There are 2 statewide referendums in progress. There is until May 31st to obtain enough signatures for the 1st goal. 1 concerns same-sex marriage, the other US Congressional Re-Districting. Go to www.MDPetitions.com. If you're outside the state, you can go there to collect/ contribute. If you're a registered voter, go to the website & fill out the petition so that it will count & send it in IMMEDIATELY. If you fill it out on the website, it will be valid since you can look up your voter registration on the website. Thats not to say all other signatures are invalid, the instructions have to be followed carefully. Same-sex marriage has national implications. The voters should be deciding this instead of the legislature. If you are outside Maryland, you can physically go in the state, find a buddy if you like & collect signatures. Only registered Maryland voters can sign but any adult can collect.

The Constitution Party in Maryland also needs to regain its ballot access, but is not working with the same deadline the referendum is. Might as well collect all at once.

May 31st is the last day to do this. Not all day, there is a

cut-off time, check the website. There are a few places throughout the state they can be dropped off. Must be original forms, original signatures.

For some reason, we're expected to know every law that exists in America & in our state so we don't break it. We're supposed to know this when we're 18. There's no litmus test for them, as in the 10 commandments or rhyme or reason. C.U.R.E.
