You Are Allowed To Run Your Mouth

Doesn't mean you speak the truth, and even if you are doesn't mean anyone has to agree with you.

What you are saying now is not what you said in your comment, or I would never have called you on it.

I had to hold my nose to registure republican in order to vote for Dr. Paul. I have not voted since '92, you are welcome to scold me for that, but, like you, I will never vote for Romney or Obama. This proud Texan may not vote again for another 20 years.

Mean time, Go get 'um big guy!

Love Ron Paul and I love Texas

Is Alex Jones going to be a DELEGATE?

...I just want to know if he is "involved" where he can make a REAL difference like we are?

...(also, someone FIND David Barton of Wallbuilders - if he ADMITS to voting for mittens, then his evangelical ministry is a self-serving FRAUD in my opinion; I mean good, historically accurate information no doubt; but, if he is propping up the majority opinion/bullying machine of a wholly corrupt/angry political party, then he is only perpetuating the cycle whereby externally religious PAC's steer voters/fund career politicians via sucking unsuspecting conservatives of money - rather than drawing the direct parallels of the principles of the founders AGAINST EVIL to Ron Paul's policy positions - if this is the case, this renders him an immoral person who should be likewise EXPOSED)

I just want to know...these "celebrities" ought to set an EXAMPLE...our REPUBLIC is at stake!

A lot of things need changing, many hypocritical persons holding "revered"/"respected"/"authoritative" posts need to be REPLACED all over this land ... not just the CEO position.

Ron paul gets 12%

it is a pretty good increase, but Romney the pro-choice, anti-gun, big government moderate takes 70 percent is a joke. Not sure how Texas could let this happen.

IMO, Romney needs 100% plus

IMO, Romney needs 100% plus to win the general election. Karl Rove and his bunch can celebrate because they bought the nomination, having said that, I want to see their faces when they lose the general in a landslide. Any Ron Paul supporter that votes for Romney is akin to a traitor to our movement. Yes, I am angry and disgusted with the majority of voters -- they ignore the big picture. Hopefully the Convention in Tampa will help change the direction of the Republican Party.

dont be ignorant

be disgusted with the electronic voting system, that is the problem. We keep on banging our heads against a wall and expect a different outcome. The system is 100% rigged

It isn't. You're just a paranoid kook.

Have you nothing better to do than bother us with your

drivel? Go cast your slime somewhere else. We hardly have even the time to answer you.

AGAIN...they didn't!!!

I bet Romney didn't even get 50% in reality. Of course, the campaign could easily have set up an effort to do some exit polling so we all could have gotten a better look at what really happened in TX.

"Truth is an absolute defense to the charge of paranoia."

I know that he didn't actually get that much. I know there is cheating...I am betting it was probably closer then it is showing..However, Santorum pulling 8 percent is quite odd.

Democracy killz Freedom once again!

Its a good thing we are within a Republic to restore it later after today's results.

After this insane vote, I will be moving to Costa Rica after the election. I will do everything I can to get Dr. Paul elected president, but if it fails, I am gone. seriously. This is ridiculous.

Election Fraud?

No need to give up, remember, this is a r3VOLution. The other side of the GOP is cheating. Do not forget this: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByJAC-sfXwumZzI2bVlON2VTMnFy...

We have 42 USC § 1971 - Voting rights, section (b). (Federal law)

comments by Jerry Davis at Lawyers for Ron Paul:

2. "ALL of the 'binding' IS under civil constitutional law....VERIFIABLY...ILLEGAL."

3. "We are not even going the rule 38 route, ANY means of manipulating a vote, whether by proxy or by unit, is illegal."

4. "The RNC's use of these rules in their very nature, are illegal, but no-one has brought this to the table yet."VOTE ANY CERTAIN WAY...PERIOD!!!! ALL of the "binding" IS under civil constitutional law....VERIFIABLY...ILLEGAL."

He is talking about this federal law.

Although disappointing, I

Although disappointing, I figured Romney would get 70%. The results are very predictable.

That said, the only solution for this is for EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE on this website to take a step back from the computer and go out and work on your own campaign.

We need thousands of liberty lovers and defenders of the constitution to run. Ideally, there should be a liberty candidate to run for every seat. I don't like to use the word duty, but it fits well here. Once you have learned about liberty, you have a duty to fight to restore it.

We should contest every seat in every corner of the country. I know that there is at least 1 Ron Paul supporter per district and 1 that can run for a seat. If you don't win the election, all you need to do is win the nomination in most states. By even getting the nomination, you get a voting seat on the republican central committee (assuming your running as a republican). Then we can restore the republican party by having more votes than the establishment and we can elect our own chairman for each county.

I guarantee if there is a liberty candidate running for every seat in the country, then many will win. Many more will end up getting central committee seats.

I have met many of you guys and everyone could run for a seat. Start local, you don't have to run for federal office. Try school board, judge, water district, district attorney, state legislator, city council, mayor, etc

I know many of you guys have thought about running. Please, if you have taken the time to read this far into my post, please go run for office. This is truly an intellectual revolution. To continue this revolution, we need thousands of candidates running for every seat, in every state, in every county, in every city, and every town no matter how small.

Let's go out and win some seats!!! And please, no excuses go run for office!

ps- I know not everyone can run for office. You better have a really good reason not to. If you can't run, encourage every liberty lover you know to run for office. Then help them passionately with your campaign.

Texans, Verify your VOTE at RonPaulVotecount.org

People, dont forget to verify your vote!

Remember, Iowa, Maine, etc.

Results can be turned around!

I really hope the 10 people

I really hope the 10 people who liked this comment so far are out working on their 2014 campaign.

We need to run for every single seat in the country. That will send a message and is possible to do.

What a bunch of fruad/BS! Even SOPA Creator, Lamar Smith won...

What the hell is wrong with this country. I've could've sworn Romney was a controversial figure for Texas to indulge. That and Lamar Smith, the very man who seeks to censor the Internet with "copyright infringement." He also voted for the NDAA, CISPA, Patriot ACT, drones, unlimited $$$ for Israel, among many other others. He is the very definition of a complete corporate/bankster/elite/statist tool.

There were even billboards outside his office and all around his district and yet the media wants us to believe the infamous c*nt got reelected?
How could that be? The EFF, ACLU, hell even Reddit were against him. And he somehow won. Unbelievable! The elections were either fixed, and/or the majority of the people in this nation are incredibly ignorant, misinformed,and/or too stupid to realize this. :/

Don't forget....

These votes were all tallied by pre programmed computers to get the result they wanted. It matters not what the vote count is...it's who counts the votes that matters. In reality, the delegate convention will be where the election is won, and even IF it were true that 70% of Texans voted for Romney (a bunch of crap if I ever heard it), it's also true that it will not take a majority of voters to win the nomination...just a majority of delegates. Who will show up for Romney now? Only paid shills, that's who.

I'm afraid your right

The vast majority of people in this country are incredibly ignorant, misinformed and/or too stupid. I talk to them everyday.

More gratitude and super supportive good energies to help.

Precisely why our Founders established a Republic

and not a democracy. Even back then they were aware of the dangers of a direct vote. Aside from the whole 51% deciding the fate of the other 49% deal, in a democracy a small, well-heeled minority could remotely influence and stir up the general population to vote one way or another. In a republic, those disenfranchised or out-leveraged in a democracy could make up for it by showing up and showing passion.

We are witnessing this first hand with the results from the primary and caucus states. From the national media on down to their planted surrogates at the local level, the Establishment has the game rigged...and have enough sway to con the general public into voting for a certain hand-picked candidate.

Where the Establishment falls short, however, and this is where the Founders' vision was ingenious, is in the ground game. You simply can't purchase passion and a grassroots ground game...at least not at a low per-unit cost. It's not as though the Establishment doesn't have the resources to "buy" a ground game. It's just that it's so cost-prohibitive that it's not worth it in their minds. They probably feel that they can more effectively spend their money in an air attack via Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and others. And judging by the results from the primary states so far, their investments have paid off.

But you must understand that it's much cheaper to purchase air time on TV or radio than it is to purchase one's Life, Fortune, and Sacred Honor. For the latter cannot ever be purchased by money in the conventional sense. Yet, at the same time, it can be had for nothing other than the prospect of Freedom for ourselves and our Posterity.

In all honesty, we are losing the battles AND losing the war. Get involved in whatever capacity you can...the greater capacity the better. Blogging for Freedom on Twitter and Facebook is well and good; but running for city council, central committee, school board, state assembly, congress, governor, or president is even better. Learn about and earn positions in television, radio, and print media. Heck, strive to become an entrepreneur who buys up other media outlets.

We are not going to win this war by fighting remotely, as that's the greatest strength of our enemy and our weakest link, even with the internet. Rather, we will win this war by increasing our internet presence, increasing our leverage by engaging our fellow citizens, and by getting as involved in the process as we see fit.

Steve Stockman

Of all of the candidates that are considered liberty supporters in Texas, I noticed that Steve Stockman wasn't mentioned in the OP Texas Primary Checklist. For those of you who don't know, he was a Republican congressman who was elected in 1994. He unfortunately only served one term, as the establishment made it their priority to vote him out. He is known for being very pro-gun, having written legislation to repeal the Clinton era assault weapons ban. He was also featured in a 1995 edition of Guns and Ammo because of this. Right before the Oklahoma City bombing, news reports stated that he received a cryptic fax that stated "Murrah building, perpetrator unknown at this time". He wisely turned it over to the FBI. While it isn't known who sent the fax, it can be speculated that the person who did it was trying to make him look bad, to say the least. Anyway, he is running in District 36, in a crowded field. With a little over 85% of the vote counted, he has 15,595 total votes; which is enough to put him in a run off. He trails the leader by a little more that 1000 votes, with nobody else coming realistically close. I think that he would be a welcome addition to the US House of Representatives (he's not a neocon). What do you all think?

2008 vs 2012

Ron Paul got 66,360 vote for 4.87%

Ron Paul has 145,192 votes for 11.6% with 72% of precincts counted

Interesting you should say that.

Ken Cuccinelli, a Ron Paul endorsee, is running for governor in 2013. He's quite good. He's not perfect, but when he thinks on his feet, he uses his heart instead of his reelection. (Example: When Paul and Romney were the only candidates on the ballot, he proposed emergency legislation to allow the other candidates an extension to ballot access. Shortly thereafter, he withdrew the request and said that if there's something wrong with the ballot access laws, then it should be addressed for the next election and shouldn't be used after the fact. It was a wise decision in the face of public outcry.)

I replied regarding the results in VA. I don't know why it ended up here. Sorry for any confusion.

14th District Vote Fraud or Brain Fog?

On the Google Tracker linked above Ron Paul won 17-25% of the votes in his 14th district.

Here is an outline of that district. http://www.graneyforcongress.com/district14/index.html

And here is an article written March 3, 2010. Ron Paul wins with 80% of the votes for Texas's 14th congressional district.http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2010/03/ron-paul-easily-fends-off-prim.html

He also won in 2008 with 70% of the vote.

I have driven cross country a few times. And Texas is the only state I drove through that had billboards promoting nothing but the Constitution.

You just made the best point

I think you just hit on something really big. It is almost completely implausible that a district that knows its candidate so well would suddenly forget. People in the 14th have to be energized and motivated to take this to court.

I wouldn't have suspected anything if Paul and Romney were tied there. I would have started to believe the rest of the results everywhere. But to even imagine that Paul's multi-decade supporters could suddenly decide they want to support a flip-flop is a Texas-sized insult.

Michael Nystrom's fists can punch through FUD.

Unquestionably Fraud Is

on display in Texas' primary just like ALL of the previous primaries and caucuses. Those members comparing Ron's results from 2008 are naturally and likely wrongly ASSUMING the results in 2008 can be trusted. The evidence suggests otherwise. ;)

I'm listening to a DRM broadcast from Radio New Zealand International and they also reported that Romney just clinched the GOP's nomination. Not so fast ... We'll see in late August after the dust of lawsuits, state conventions, etc. take their toll on the GOP's PRESUMPTUOUS nominee, Romney. ;)
