I still haven't actually met a Romney supporter

Romney supporters must be rare like a Bigfoot sighting, because I still haven't met one.

By "used to hate", I'm going to assume that at this point these people (mostly co-workers, couple friends) who are pretty much ignorant of current events and any philosophy and history will just support Mitt Romney now. This is re-enforced by the news saying (for months!) that the race is Obama v. Romney now.

But no, I have never met anyone that was a Romney man or woman. They were Gingrich or Santorum people prior.

Another thing- CNBC has been saying for SEVERAL MONTHS that the big bank money like Goldman Sachs has funded Romney's campaign more than Obama's. They use that as an indicator of chances of victory. And multiple national polls are pointing towards an Obama loss. This is horrible news for Ron Paul, as people will just be happy with Barak Obama being kicked out of the White House and wash themselves of any insight.

Romney doesn't have much

Romney doesn't have much support. He only has voters. Maybe a majority of those who voted for Romney don't even like him. They just reason that "even though he's not my first choice, the news says that he will win the nomination; therefore, since he is our only chance to beat Obama, I will vote for him." After they vote, they go back to their couch and continue watching Fox News. If Romney really had a bunch of support, they would be winning delegates easily with no fights from us. The truth is, Romney has very little support.

must not be getting out and talking with people very much. They are out there. You will meet them if you go door to door and talk to people about Ron Paul. They are not passionate about him and don't have signs and bumper stickers, but they will vote for him because FOX News tells them to.

Unfortunately, I only have 7 actual converts to my credit so far. I do feel like I should have done more. All the folks I converted supported everyone but Romney. Ah well, I will keep working on people one by one until the day I die. Hopefully that will make a difference someday.

This election seems pretty similar to 2008. Nobody was a big McCain fan. I think Average Joe republican is going to be even more disenfranchised this time around.

I haven't met a supporter, either. I have met many that plan to vote for him, but begrudgingly. They think he is the only one running or they think he is the only one that can beat Obama. Sadly, the MSM and GOP have conspired to create a narrative where millions of people are prepared to vote for someone they like a lot less than Ron Paul. We can change this narrativeaim Tampa and by continuing to do what we are doing grass-roots style.

MSM is the greatest enemy of liberty... Not even Soviets with a 1000 nukes pointed at us are as bad as these people.

They hang out on Golf courses and a lot of them are business owners or top executives or just Republicans that hate Democrats and haven't quite got "it" that they are the same as Dems.... - Trust me there are plenty of Mitten supporters and the Santorum people (in general b/c I don't like to make generalizations) but many of Santorum's people are ok with Mittens, and "Grinch's" people ARE may more in favor of Mittens then Ron Paul. That's just the facts- unfortunately,... Fortunately they are more and more on the fringe then we are. They are having to argue Supporting the wars and most "normal" people know that the Government is just FULL of it now. Especially on the wars!

I don't believe that so many people actually voted FOR Barry, they just hated Bush so much that getting ANY democrat in office would fix all our problems. This sounds like the Einstein quote about insanity, doing the same thing over-and-over expecting a different result: we all get mad at the Dems so we vote in a Repub...then we're all mad at him so we vote in a Dem...over-and-over. Why can't the sheep see that they're all on the same team just wearing different jersies?

I've encountered the same sort of thing. What I've heard is that we need to get rid of Obama and Ron Paul can't win. When I ask if they want someone in office that supports gun control, indefinite detainment w/o charges filed, and mandated health care, they say no. When I continue with asking them, "so why do you want Romney, when he is in favor of those?" I get the MSM line of, "but Ron Paul can't win."

that is where you meet them - when I give them info. about Paul, they say "no thanks, I'm voting for Romney" I've heard this in Calif. and when I went door-to-door in Reno. Also, one lady came up to me at a gun show and slammed your hand on the table while saying, "we need Mitt!". That same day at the show, I met a Newt supporter too.

I haven't met a single one either. I have also yet to see a Romney sign or bumper sticker. Romney's facebook comments are like 95 percent negative, people just poking holes in his empty promises. Well, if you look at Romney's crowds (about 200) with Paul's (5-10 thousand), it becomes apparent who the popular one is. Enthusiasm is the last thing I think of when it comes to Mitt Romney.

I haven't met any myself. I'm tempted to wander down to Trump's casino today. Trump is having a fundraiser with Romney today in Vegas. Newt is also expected to attend. The only thing is I'd have to wash with bleach afterwards. All 3 of 'em give me the creeps.
