Daily Paul Malware Alert

UPDATE: I've made contact with the ad service provider that is supplying the code that Google is flagging as malicious. They are aware of the problem and are working with Google to solve it. The Daily Paul is not the only site that is being subject to this treatment. Hopefully this will get sorted out soon.

As many regulars here have noted (here, here, here, here, and here), dialing into the Daily Paul on Chrome or Firefox results in a Google red screen that says the Daily Paul contains malware. No such warning appears when using Safari or IE. Further investigation shows that Google has classified the Daily Paul as 'suspicious', in spite of the fact that:

Of the 658 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 0 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2012-05-31, and suspicious content was never found on this site within the past 90 days

Over the past 90 days, dailypaul.com did not appear to function as an intermediary for the infection of any sites. This site has not hosted malicious software over the past 90 days.

After much investigation, it appears that this is a false alarm. Google is listing some standard ad server code - which has been on the site for over a year - as suspicious. We may also be the subject of a dirty tricks attack, as the 'suspicious' page Google is flagging is this one: Why I am Endorsing Mitt Romney for President and Not Ron Paul.

Thank you everyone for your patience. We're working on getting this straightened out as soon as we can.

I would really like to share some words with these goofs

I got the red page on FF, but

I got the red page on FF, but reselected DP via my bookmark, and came in no problem. The only annoying thing is that it gives you the option to ignore the warning, and then takes you to their page instead.

Thanks for the MALWARE Update, Mike..

My avast antivirus/security put "opera.exe. in the avast sandbox" as a protection.
I am a complete illiterate re these things.
Java was sandboxed, and the "colors" of posts were all blue at one time.
This has not been a solitary incident.

Imbedded videos were not playing...they are now.

And thank you Michael for actions beyond the call of duty.
You are the man.

Yesterday I Forgot To Do This..

I forgot to say thank you to Michael Nystrom for all his hard work and thanks for resolving the "Red Warning Flag" problem..

In my book, you're more famous than Matt Drudge..

All your hard work and patience with guys like me have payed dividends.

We will always remember patriots like you and Ron Paul..

'Viya con dios' my friend,

Seems to be fixed now.

Using firefox. I was getting the alert yesterday. Not any more. Problem appears to have been fixed.

I ran CCleaner on my pc and got rid of the stubborn red flag on

Firefox. Also, the Safari on my Mac Book is now suddenly clear..thanks, Michael!

All is back to normal on my end.

Thanks for your diligence,

Thanks for your diligence, Michael. Waiting with bated breath for your update. Personally hoping you have em dead to rights. To say that Ron's community is underrated is more than an understatement. RP 2012

Fingers crossed, as I haven't seen anything official from Google or iSocket, but I'm no longer seeing the dreaded Red Screen, and no more warnings when searching Google.

Thank you everyone for your patience & support.

The DP and no doubt other Liberty sites are the target of government censorship. It is a well known fact that Google is an arm (NSA) of our corporate fascist government and they are rapidly unleashing their censorship on threats to the hostile takeover of Amerika.

Yes, of course...

Because stating that something is "a well known fact" completely eliminates the need to actually back your statement up.

But someone keeps putting SOPA, CISPA, etc before Congress.

What if government is acting without Congressional approval?

Or under the terms of the Patriot Act issuing secret warrants that cannot be reported by the victims?

Without a Court that will issue a Declaratory statement on the unconstitutionality of the 666 Act (renamed and passed as the Patriot Act0 where do we stand?.

and of course, that's a well known fact :)

I Loved Google Crome Until ShockWave Began Malfuctioning

My computer security buddie at my company advised me to go safari and I just love it. I recommend the safari malwarebytes (Malware) scaning service.

Didn't have a problem with safari until this malware red flag appeared on the daily paul..

It appears those using IE, Safari and Google were affected. I don't know about the others..

Like I said before, the powers that be are "BETA TESTING" this for later...

This is to be expected, the liberty movement has screwed up the new world odor (order) so bad, they have had to rework all of their plans..

..and now they want to literally take out Ron Paul and all who support him. Put us all on a plane and blow it up...

"F" them bastards to hell!

I didn't get a malware alert...

I'm on chrome. I guess this got sorted out?

I've always loved Google. Nobody's ever been able to convince me that Google is one of the bad guys. They do more to keep stuff free than people realize. I remember back in the day...if not for Google, we'd have a vastly different internet. IMO

If using Windows, use the TOR

If using Windows, use the TOR package (TOR browser which uses FireFox) , ClamAV, and startpage.com ... Since TOR browser uses NoScript, you'll have to work around it temporarily to view YouTube videos. The slight inconvenience is more than worth the vastly increased privacy and security while browsing the WWW.

I know many people like

I know many people like Norton and I used to use it, but I have had better luck with Kaspersky.

You Need A SECURED Browser !

Try downloading a Free Secured Web Surfing Search Engine ... I reccomend Ixquick . I found out about this search engine from a Patriot website about 6 months ago . They said to download it and hold onto it , just in case Google decided to resort to some dirty tricks , and DAM if they weren't right . When I typed " The Daily Paul " into the Google Search Engine , I (we) got that Warning messege ...right ? Then I closed Google and opened Ixquick , typed " The Daily Paul " into it , just like I did on the Google Engine , EXCEPT , I got onto The Daily Paul website in 3 SECONDS ... with NO Warning messages , ' like it never even happened ' ! lol

DUMP the Google search engine and use :

https://www.ixquick.com/ search engine from now on !

RON PAUL 2012 ! The Enemy is running scared now !!!

You can also use startpage

which is ixquick (www.startpage.com) - that's what I have as my search engine and as my homepage.

Downloaded IXQuick

Can you send out a mass e-mail to let people know

How to get in because they now have a white page up that was already posted here by someone and there is now way to get to a link. I have one in my bookmarks so I got in but I am sure many are confused and do not know how to get in. Just a thought as this weekend is huge for the campaign. If you ask me Google planned it that way. But that's me.

That isn't exactly right. I'm

That isn't exactly right. I'm a Mac user and I use Safari as my web browser. This is the notice I received when I visited this morning at around eight o'clock.
