Shreveport Police Acted Stupidly... Why Were They There Anyway?
Henry said it best : They acted like Nazis. This should never happen in America. Why were The Shreveport police officers there in the first place?
Did you hear about an honorable man with a concealed carry permit who was murdered at some Costco store in cold blood by some stupid overreactive police officers?
Lucky for Henry he wasn't carrying a gun with a CCW. They would have murdered him too.
I hope Henry sues the bejebbers out of the Shreveport police department for violating his civil liberties...
I saw one of the police officers smiling in the video... What the hell is so funny about what they did to the poor guy?
Comments on Reddit indicate that these Shreveport, LA. police officers were in fact OFF DUTY at the time...Can someone confirm?

Join the Law Suit against the GOP
URGENT - plaintiffs and eyewitness testimony needed from all states and territories for federal civil rights lawsuit.
A Federal Civil Rights lawsuit is being drafted seeking to remove illegal binding or compelling of delegate votes nationwide under 42 USC sections 1971-1974. The initial complaint will be filed next week, about the 6th of June.
The lawsuit has two major components.
First is to enforce the law that no voter can be compelled, coerced or intimidated to vote anything but his conscience on a national basis (this would include binding delegates to any national convention, such as the August RNC convention.)
The second is to deal state by state to seek remedies where fraud, irregularities, or coercion took place in the voter registration, caucus, primary, or convention process where voters and delegates civil right to vote their conscience and have it fairly and legitimately counted was infringed.
What this means for the ReLOVEution is the all delegates to the Tampa Convention will be free to vote as they will, and State laws and party rules binding delegates would be struck, thus allowing the full Arizona and Florida delegates to be seated.
State by State where the GOP Establishment has broken the rules, stuffed ballots, fraudulently counted votes, refused to accept voter party registrations etc. will be addressed and remedies sought based on the input of the plaintiffs from those states. This could even include criminal charges in some cases.
Named plaintiffs from every state and territory is being sought for the Federal portion.
Plaintiffs and eye witness testimony of improprieties is being sought for each state.
The work is being performed pro bono by Ron Paul supporters and volunteers. This is not just a sour grapes lash back at the GOP establishment. It will ultimately affect every state and political party. It could be the basis for breaking Machine Politics nationwide.

In Arizona we experienced some of the most egregious and open fraud at our state convention. Most of the grass roots Ron Paul leadership here have been working with these folks and their attorneys to put this legal action together. This is legit folks.

Why would we want the full Arizona and Florida delegates to be seated, when they lost their seating for holding their primaries too soon - trying to influence the outcome, and most of their delegates are Romney supporters?
This is what the neocons have been wanting, and it definitely isn't legal. They lost those seats trying to gain an unfair advantage over the rest of us.

It is a SAD DAY, when the LOCAL POLICE don't even stop
to question whether the political establishment people's demands to arrest us, is legitimate or even lawful! It is amazing to me they seem to be oblivious to their own "laws".
They make NO charges, yet they arrest? I hope this man wins a MAJOR LAWSUIT against the City Police.
The local law enforcement, of which I work for myself, need a major wake-up call to start questioning the GOP and to start following their own laws, not just give a knee-jerk response to a stupid, senseless, erroneous demand to arrest a Ron Paul supporter who's done NOTHING WRONG.

Kelly Z. Mordecai at "Watch the Vote 2012" advises CITIZENS ARREST:
"When beyond bad behavior occurs - like security guards get brutal with someone because of some 'lame excuse,' unlawfully detain them, etc.... Then have a witness present and issue a 'Citizens arrest' upon the security guards. In many states, if a citizen does this, the local law enforcement must take them into custody.
"You see an assault upon a Ron Paul Delegate, walk up to the Romnulan and issue 'CITIZENS ARREST.' Call 911. After issuing 'Citizens Arrest,' tell the perpetrator, 'If you resist, that is a misdemeanor. If you leave, that is another misdemeanor.' Get photos, call 911. Have a witness STUDY YOUR STATE LAW W/R TO CITIZENS ARREST."

Well, first I grew up with alot of people that work at the board of elections so it was a little easier for me to get in. First I applied, then waited for a year for them to get back to me. Second you take an Election Inspector training class, third you are chosen, and then wait for them to place you in a certain county poll when the elections take place. I wanted to do something to help the revolution and this is a start.
The Ron Paul Revolution is here to stay and we are not going away anytime soon. Let it not be said that we did nothing.

I really believe that this is how we will turn this country around...one person at a time, getting involved and doing their part. It's always nice to hear about other people's successes, especially with details about how you went about doing it. who are committed to a better way of life. Those who have the dignity and courage to stand for freedom, liberty, and justice for all are to be commended with highest honors. It is not easy to stand against entrenched evil. Yet, we cannot give up. Thank you tucker47 for remembering to support these brave souls in Louisiana and elsewhere.
There are many examples of Ron Paul supporters being hurt by the frothing GOP and their paid bureaucrats. Does anyone know of one example of RP supporters harming anyone or anything? I have met so many and all are fine examples of truly patriotic Americans.
If Giles has positioned himself so highly at the convention, wouldn't he know that Santorum has dropped out no matter what the crooked numbers were for the primary vote? Everyone else knows. So why the grandiose plea for fairness? Is 1/3 quorum fair? Thus, the only reason to fight for 10 delegates for Santorum is to use them as leverage to pay off Santorum's debts, when the delegates are then passed over to Romney. Next Romney with Goldman Sachs dollars, which were robbed from the American taxpayers, will pay off the debts--or at least promised to do so. It is easy to hand out massive sums of money to buy an election, when you don't have to work for it. Besides if more money is needed, they just go back to the original source (us) and take more.
Payoffs, bribes, lies, cheating, maiming, killing--anything goes with those who have a lot to lose--and cover up. RP people have had enough. We have drawn the line, and we can't back out now. Bless each and everyone of you who has made the decision to let your light shine. Every single one of us is important in this effort, and we must carry on. Believe. With God NOTHING is impossible.

Were the Shreveport police trying to instigate a violent reaction and confrontation with all the Ron Paul supporters in the room by assaulting 2 of our supporters? The move by police to confiscate video of the incident clearly shows a continued attempt to escalate trouble so we can all be very proud of the majority delegation to remain calm and take care of the business at hand ... great work people!
Police always escalate such situations
This is typical police behavior in response to disobeying an order. Have you ever seen someone successfully convince a police officer that their order is wrong? The police don't say "Oh you're right, sorry". Instead, they pull out pepper spray, billy clubs, and guns. Such situations only end after someone is in jail or dead.

".....He was eventually taken away and charged with the misdemeanor crime of entering and remaining after being forbidden.....".
That charge will be withdrawn before it ever reaches court! It's just a sticking plaster face-saver for the police until the publicity blows over. It couldn't possibly be found that he was "entering .... after being forbidden". as he was allowed in like everybody else.
As for "remaining .... after being forbidden" that would have to rest on whether the person doing the "forbidding" was entitled to do so. I suspect a judge would take a dim view of who was doing the "forbidding" here!
As the charge is "entering AND remaining" this would be laughed (if it wasn't so serious!) right out of court - with costs!
A legal claim should be made against those who did the "forbidding" and used or allowed the use of physical violence to cause personal distress and injury and so perpetrate intimidation and pervert the course of proper process on the Convention.
I hope the Ron Paul campaign will aid such a legal claim.
