Ambiguous title: WHICH Louisiana?

This happened in the War Between The States, too. To say that a resolution or bill has been "passed by the Virginia Legislature" is unspecific: Do they mean the secessionist Virginia Legislature, in Richmond, or the new, pro-Union, Reorganized Government of Virginia? The latter consented to West Virginia Statehood.

Now, it is happening in the Republican State Conventions, and news releases come from both conventions, and the lame-stream media pick up one or the other, mostly unaware of the veritable Civil War happening before our eyes in the Republican Party.

Found this opposing view

Just so everyone knows, here is an opposing view about the LA outcome.

How Ron Paul Lost Louisiana

At the end of the day, the “official” convention awarded Romney and Santorum their preferred delegates, awarded all of the “uncommitted” delegates to Mitt Romney, and declined to fill Ron Paul’s delegate slots, pending talks with the Ron Paul campaign with the option of being filled by the LAGOP Executive Committee. Basically, Ron Paul was stripped of all his delegates.

"Know what you know, know what you don't know, and understand and appreciate the distinction."

Basically (response to Kevin Boyd article linked above)

Basically, Kevin uses the word basically over and over to make up for his lack of remedial writing and reporting acumen, basically.

For all intents and purposes (another one of the writer's fact-bending favorite phrases) the writer has no clue how many delegates have been allotted to which candidate in the aftermath of this convention.

"On the convention day itself" (thanks for the clarification Kevin), ..."one delegate was injured and another was arrested". Actually, both delegates were injured, which any monkey with an iPad would know by now by doing 3rd grade research and fact checking on the event.

Kevin also labeled the lawful process of electing delegates to represent the people "delegate stealing". I suppose that if the non-binding, beauty pageants constitute a candidate's right to delegates then delegate stealing could in fact exist. However, the term itself makes no sense. Delegates are elected by their constituents, therefore no delegate can be said to be 'stolen' unless votes are not tallied accurately. This is actually 'delegate election'. Would you prefer delegate appointing, the way Lords and kings appoint their councils?

I won't belabor you with the rest of this guy's ostensible foray into the world of reporting. I will however mention that his opinion of "what needs to happen now" is asinine:

"First and foremost, there needs to be apologies all around".

All around? Who would you like an apology from Kevin?

The majority of LAGOP convention delegates (who just so happen to support Ron Paul) who had their democratic privileges infringed upon and threatened while they peacefully participated in the convention?

The two men injured by off duty police officers for taking their rightful places as chairpersons duly elected by the delegation?

Ron Paul, a peacemaker and lifetime adherent to the principles of the Bible which advocates turning the other cheek? Has his example been to blame?

Kevin Boyd, you are partially to blame for the dishonest and disingenuous information in this article. You have stained your publication and have made me question your allegiance to the principles of Liberty. You write like an establishment reporter, you fact check like an establishment reporter, you draw conclusions like an establishment reporter. You conclude that we should be loyal to the party. Should the Revolutionaries have stayed loyal to the Throne of England? I know you're type. You would have been a Tory. My loyalties are to my God, my family, the Constitution and my country, in that order. Governments change, and are made of men. Liberty is made of truth, and truth does not change.

Good luck getting behind your man Romney, the newest horse in the bankers' stalls. He is not my candidate and you would be wise to weigh your conscience before you cast a vote for him:

Ron Paul or Nobody, 2012. If Ron Paul declares his support for Romney, I will write in Ron Paul.

Truth and liberty are mutually inseparable.

Hopefully the RNC recognizes

Hopefully the RNC recognizes our convention as the real one, but somehow I doubt they will...

I'd like to see an official source for this result. I note this result is not yet reflected in the Wikipedia Republican Party presidential primaries, 2012 article, apparently due to a lack of a reliable source.

Sure needed this news.

We now have 3 of the 5 in the bank:

Looking good still in IA, CO...

Any others?

We must get our 5!

"Truth is an absolute defense to the charge of paranoia."

4 of 5 in the bank won.

4 of 5 in the bank won.

We are expected to win Iowa.

That will be 5.

We could also win Virginia if all the district delegates show up to the state convention June 16th.

"If you put a gun to my head and said vote Romney/Gingrich/Santorum...I would say pull the trigger!"

We could win South Dakota if people would call and let

people know that Ron Paul is still in the Race and is winning states like this along with a long line of delegates.

But Northstar:

We tried to sign on, but it goes nowhere. Please post a step-by-step for electronic dummies on how to use this, how to get logged in, each step.

Would have called the 20 people by now. Have tried since last night.

Go Ron Paul!
