New Polls in South Carolina, Florida and Michigan (Not Good)

The latest poll from Rossman Group in Michigan is as follows:

Huckabee 23%
Romney 22%
McCain 18%
Giuliani 8%
Thompson 4%
Paul 3%

I don't think Michigan was ever on Paul's agenda (by the way what is the agenda? I hope his got a good game plan starting tomorrow at the debate)

South Carolina according to InsiderAdvantage

Huckabee 33%
McCain 21%
Romney 14%
Giuliania 8%
Thompson 5%
Paul 5%

Florida according to InsiderAdvantage

Giuliani 24%
McCain 19%
Huckabee 19%
Romney 13%
Thompson 8%
Paul 5%

Obviously we'd like to build on those figures. Hey, Iowa and New Hampshire started out at 0% so these are better, but we need to have a strategy. I don't think Paul can campaign in every single state even though he has the most money.

Also, a big question, when will we have another big money day? Someone should really organize that and have it this week. I want to donate again, but I also want to make headlines with a huge day.

This may sound insignificant, or "silly", to some, but

I post on Detroit News... you know, our of Detroit, MI.....tons of people read the forums and post there, fromm MI, and Nationwide/Worldwide( I would even guess they get as many, or a lot more, hits than this site, a day).
You have Union folks on there who aren't happy. You have forieng car owners who believe in Live and Let Live... and everyone else in-between.
Tons of Political news on there.
Oh, besides them voting... the North American Autoshow(One of, if not The Largest autoshow in NA/Worldwide) is happening this upcoming week, iirc.. Tons of traffic to the site to see the daily news, for cars, Politics(Voting in MI) this upcoming week-10 days.
I thought someone said a Million+ hits in 10 days, every year, for the autoshow info alone.
Now this election, too?

I have posted in comments on blogs talking about Ron Paul, and anything else I can(even in the auto talk forums).
I have had maybe 7 people reply, but this was a month ago.
I am going back there this week, and start finding anything I can post about RP(any issues people are mad about, and RP could "fix", if elected president).
Free Advertising for RP, on a net site that should see 1+ Million hits next week, easily.

If 10-20(or more) people are posting Pro-RP, and saying "Google RP"....(verusus 5-7 people, tops), some will look, and reply(usually in a positive manner).

the county that RP won in Iowa

the meetup had been running little ads about a variety of topics in the local cheap papers. Seems to have been very effective. I think frequent discussion is very effective---keep people thinking about him.

Bad news

Yes. This means definite vote fraud and they're going to kill off Fred with him. The only real worries are Mc and flip flop. He needs to get to that point and it's up to us. This message needs to go mainstream. If we stay cool Dr Paul will make it.

Radio Ads

The radio ads running in FL need to change. They're very professional, but the campaign needs to be stressing the inflation tax...dollar crashing...RP is the only candidate that will cut spending and keep our economy afloat. Let's hear how we HAVE to vote for Ron Paul to save America. I know they can do it...I just hope they will.

Thank you for giving the

Thank you for giving the details! I will try and give the suggest amount for each day. I hope its monstrous so he can at least get some media attention for a day. And judging from prevoius fundraisers it will. Can't wait.

SC and Florida

Ron Paul just started TV ads in SC. I don't know if any other GOP is running TV in SC. I know that no one is saturating the airwaves.

RP will move up in SC, that why we do moneybombs.

Ron Paul just started radio ads in Florida.

Who else is? Ghouliani is running TV and radio. Beside that, I don't know if anyone else is.

RP will move up in Florida.

I don't know what's going on in Michigan.

A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for James Madison.

Here is an idea...

Considering it is impossible for President Paul to campaign in every town and every state for the upcoming Super Tuesday... why not go to your local Republican Party meeting. They usually hold one or two meeting a month. This is a great chance for us to stand up and talk about Ron Paul and the issues. You will be surprised at what can happen if you turn just a couple of Old Timers into Paul supporters. They usually have some pull in the community. Give it a try.

Joe

Great suggestion. I just

Great suggestion. I just may take your advice.

Romney scaling back in SC and Florida

According to the AP, Romney is canceling his plans to advertise in those states so he can focus on Michigan.

Ron Paul, on the other hand, can afford to buy his vacated time, can't he?

IMissLiberty

You can reach voters in California, here: http://consequeries.com/California-voter-guide.php

don't worry about these polls

they don't take into account people like me who have never voted that will be voting for Dr. Paul. Even if we do bad in MI, we need to keep fighting - it's only the 4th state. There's a long way to go and people are becoming too negative with a lot of their posts - although some are obviously trolls.

As stated before, don't respond to negative posts and they will go away!

The Secret Plan!

Don't sweat it! The Secret Plan is here to save us...now that's a conspiracy.

i suspect the michigan poll

i suspect the michigan poll may be slightly on the low side. However the other two may be about right.
It would be nice to get the credit for taking out Thompson in South Carolina though.

Extremism in the defense of Liberty is no vice.

bad news

This is what our boycotts and stock dumps have brought us to. All these companies we aim to hurt have employees and stockholders who live in key primary states, and we are driving them away from Dr Paul

Yeah .contrary to what the

Yeah .contrary to what the meetups say .And I am a member right here in Florida. No one outside the groups are really voting for him.Our heads have gotten to big by sorrunding ourselves with other Paulites rather than seeing outside our little world.
Done the campaign is done.
Course you guys will keep demanding a recount witch will only show the nation that we lost and proved it by a recount.
But keep on going .
We had a chance ,awhile back .But our own supporters ruined it by thinking they were always right.
the MSM was right there are a LOT of kooks among us.

What?

You're trying to say this election is over? Come on, only one half of one percent of the votes have been cast in this election! You're just buying into the media propaganda, or you are in fact propagandizing yourself. Which is it? Everyone wrote this campaign off a long time ago, but Ron Paul went from nowhere in the polls to being almost 10%, and he was polling at 15% in New Hampshire the day of the election. We do need to demand a recount, because all elections should be in the open and the results should be proven and not a matter of conjecture, not because we suspect foul play, but because we are American citizens and the elections belong to US, not the republican party! To say the MSM is right about anything is just insane, have you not been paying attention to the extreme slant and lack of coverage? Yeah, we're kooks because we don't buy into the constant lies on television, get lost!

seems to be the case

alot of media theater but little beyond that. Swamping internet polls and getting signs in front of cameras does not translate into real votes.

I would have to assign some blame to the HQ of the campaign, which didn't seem to be controlling or directing events, so there were too many self-appointed voices representing Dr. Paul, some in a positive way and others definitely not.

stop blaming and start flyering

Ron Paul got no media attention. he is doing way better than Nader did. Best of all he's a man of principle and integrity. Who wouldn't want to vote for him? Only those who have never heard of him. We NEED to stop waving signs and start distributing mass amounts of literature. Print out the flyers at ronpaul2008.com (click Get Involved - Downloads). Leave a trail of them everywhere you go. If the American people don't know who Ron Paul is, it's partially our fault. Get the word out. Think about Betsy Ross sewing her flag and the few brave men that made it happen.

Never heard of the Rossman Group

Never heard of the Rossman Group and the Insider Advantage is notoriously wrong.

They (Mason Dixon I think) had Ron Paul at 11% in SC as late as December

Rossman Group is exclusive

Rossman Group is exclusive to Michigan only. Not sure what kind of company it is and have no idea how accurate it could be. They only polled 300 Republicans though. I don't think independants were asked, but can't confirm that.

don't worry....

because on another thread, someone is posting that HQ has a secret plan and they wanted to finish low in IA and NH on purpose. I suppose part of the secret plan is to poll dead last in all states so we can "sneak up on them"....don't know whether to laugh or cry

Why on Earth...

...are people voting for Huckabee? I don't know if I've ever seen anyone quite as fake as this guy - are people really buying his empty rhetoric and bullcrap?

What the hell is that

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Please explain.

Sorry

On a day that I would expect supporters to be trying to post positive stories, I get online and the first thing I read is that Paul's dead last in the polls. And this was posted by a new member. We've had people posting negative things on purpose before. I'm just too edgy after last night... thought maybe you were trying to break our spirits.

That's O.K. I'm very exited

That's O.K. I'm very exited every time I think about Ron Paul as President. So exited that I know that the alternative can't happen (the economy is going to got to crap and inflation is going to kill this country). And if inflation didn't kill this country we will by extending are military. I just see the Roman Empire and the Soviet Union in my head. Two empire that fell without warning. I wouldn't vote for anyone other the Paul even if he wasn't on the ballot. I voted in for him in Iowa and can't wait to do so again later in the year.
