For Paul to win, we must answer this...

From the people who I talk to who Don't support Paul, it's all because of the same thing.

They think his foreign policy is insane. They all agree on his Economic policy but are just not open to a drawdown of troops from the middle east or Korea... so they say. That is just where they are right not. I still love them the same.

7+ years of MSM programming will take some time to open there eyes and hearts.

We must be patient, positive and steadfast when spreading Pauls message. A flame of will continue to burn by small continious drops of oil. A drop of oil represents the little things we do in every moment of every day. As mother theresa said, Its not the grand things we do which leaves a legacy but its in the small things we do with great love that will change the world.

Your thoughts are magnetic energy that can be measured. A thought is probably the smallest action you can do BUt the single most important action you can take in changing the world.

I propose that we must first Acknowledge what IS and take ownership for it. As Paul often states, "unless we acknowledge our part in why they hate us, we can never do anything about it." It is always the first step.

On a personal level. We must first acknowledge that we have not been living or BEING the message of which Paul speaks. We have to take responsibility for our part of it.

If you believe that Paul is being Cheated, misunderstood, overlooked or underappreciated, you are right... and it will continue. If you believe that the Message of Paul is truth and will completely alter our family, community, state, country, and world while kicking off a golden age of economic prosperity, civil liberities and global peace, then you are right as well.

The Ron Paul revolution is of Love. The LOVE within ourselves. Have fun spreading the word, but be accepting of where our fellow citizens are. They will be moved more by your prescence than any other action you could do.

Go Ron Paul!

Love of truth can be tough

We must expose Giuliani the draft dodger for what he is: a hipocrit who wants to send others to war when he found a way not to do it, and the same goes for Romney, who does not want his religion to be an issue, but did make it an issue to avoid serving his country during the Viet-Nam era, and McCaine, who did serve and knows that war is hell but talks about keeping our soldiers 100 years in a war that should not have been started, or a Huckabee that picks and chooses when it comes to Christ's teachings. What a bunch of pretensious demagogues.

Reexamine

Maybe instead of saying we should bring all troops home, he should be saying "we should reexamine the assumptions on which we keep the troops abroad." Then the conversation is not just about Iraq, but Korea, Germany, and so on. "Should the troops stay there forever?"

Just a suggestion... I am not sure myself...

He can say that eventually all troops should be brought home, but let's start reexamining. Like with his domestic policy, with social security, Medicare, he does not want to abolish everything right away. The same way he should maybe talk about foreign policy.

The disadvantage of course is that he might sound like he does not want to bring troops from Iraq right away. But the message could be possible to formulate so that there is no contradiction.

And certainly the Congress should authorize the war. This is his much more acceptable position. So if we want to stay in Iraq, the Congress should announce the war.

Also, talking about language, I am not sure he should be repeating "War on Terror." He uses this term, but maybe he should challenge it as well.

It is true that we must

It is true that we must express the Non-interventionalist foreign policy in a clear and concise manner. It is not an abandonment of military spending, more of a wiser use of military spending. it is also imperitive that we do so in a polite manner that is devoid of hostility and childish antics.

We will be scrutinized more so than any other supporters and have been. We must take the "High Road" when discussing the issues with those opposed to our belief's and who are for the Neo-Con ideology. they are not stupid or less inteligent in anyway, only misinformed.

Personal attacks are a defense mechanism, to divert attention from the truth. However, we must know the opposition's points of veiws as well as our own, so as to better formulate our counter-points.

i believe the images of a roving pack of radicals that were pertrayed out of NH, will hurt us with the older demographic and we will need them in order to increase our success. the message is important, and so is winning votes for that will bring more attention to the message.

Heck if we can't

My whole office has been trasfromed to Ron Paul supporters. I did it quietly over time. Liberals, neocons, everyone, we are winning on the war issue if presented correctly. Here is the key point. We (Ron Paul) want to kill terrrorists not build nations. Why are we fighting, dying, and spending in Iraq. How does this help us kill the 2000 terrorists who attacked us on 911. Lets get out and focus on the misssion just like Dr. Paul said. Why spend 5 billion per terroist? Lets just hunt them down and kill them like the dogs they are, one bullet at a time. That is enough, don't overplay it and let it sink in for about a week and a half. then we win.

I agree.

my whole office, family, friends and people around me on a consistent basis have joined in with the Paul message.

It just takes time and respect.

Once people get converted... I also find a natural "anger" towards the media and others.

Hopelessness is the bottom of negative thought... anger is the natural progression.

We must progress to more positive thoughts.

Honor the Troops. Talking points for ending the "war"

1. Honor the troops by bringing them home.
2. Honor the troops by sending them into danger only when absolutely necessary.
3. Honor the troops by our actions as well as our words.
4. Declare victory and bring them home.
5. Dick Cheney received 5 deferments from the Vietnam war 1959-1966.
6. Ron Paul served in the military 1963-1968.

Right on!! Nice Post!

"It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams

"The use of 'Conspiracy Theorist' or 'Truther' as a derogatory -- as an epithet almost -- is something the propagandists have perfected over the decades, and it's a useful tool for eliminating articulate dissent."

What is needed is helping people to draw connections

show how both are interrelated.. Thats what paul needs to do in the debate.. clearly articulate that each of these other men do not understand the dangerousness of thier policies because they do not understand how all of these policies are interrelated and cause econmice, political and real suffering.. Thier policies he should say will destroy.. the NATION... People do not understand the collaps of the dollar.. He needs to ask them when you policy makes bread 5 bucks a loaf.. how will the people like that?? This is what paul needs to do.. insinuate the insanity of thier policies..

Paul approach could be more about the results of his policies...

The first thing that attracted me to Paul was

HOPE FOR AMERICA

I only see Mitt Romney trying this approach within the Republicans.

If Paul realligned himself to his HOPE FOR AMERICA message and really believed in the Possibilities of his policies, then he would attract more people to vote for him.
