morbid question

Consider the 64+ age group, the retired people, almost all of whom vote if they're still mobile, and almost all of whom do not support RP. These conventions I've seen videos of are nothing but seas of grey hair mixed with new RP supporters. 8 years ago I bet it was nothing but grey haired and the occasional 70 year old woman with dyed hair or a wig. How would you estimate time will impact the GOP numbers in 4 years or 8 years as these people become immobile, senile, die off, etc?

Not trying to say I want them all to die now. I'm just pointing out what many people are already thinking about the longevity of the GOP base, and I'm curious as to what the impact will be as nature plays out in x years.

There's tons of people who

There's tons of people who support Ron Paul who are over 60.

In fact, some of our wisest and most experienced leaders are over 60 - where would we be without them. Take Ron Paul as an example.

Young people have a lot of get up and go. But lets face it, a lot of time they don't know much as they need, and are still learning. You need those old people to lean on.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

EVERY generation said the same thing...and then when people get older and have more responsibilities..they change.

The people at Woodstock all said that WELL before now, we'd all be legally buying drugs at the supermarket. But 98% of the people at Woodstock all vote against legalizing drugs now.

assuming the country survives the upcoming collapse

That is exactly what has to happen; we have to continue to infiltrate the gop and take it over. We have to also work to change the rules regarding nominations and elections to make it more transparent and thus eliminate vote tampering and manipulation.

Iowa just elected a 30

Iowa just elected a 30 something neocon instead of a Ron Paul republican to run for Congress. Don't get into age wars. There are still a whole lot of young neocons on the loose. BTW - this young neocon, elected yesterday, is playing the age game, too. He's proudly saying loudly and often, that he's not the same ole, same ole because he's new and fresh. The war on baby boomers has officially begun with the republican establishment.

Dollar is losing reserve status

as someone on here astutely posted earlier. Huge, huge news. It's happening, and as Ron Paul pointed out on Cavuto, the final stages of these kinds of crises go very rapidly. There is no long term.

Ron, of course, knows this. He knew it in 1971 when he decided to run for congress. He didn't know the exact timetable, but it was inevitable if things didn't change. The time has come. Forget about Rand, Gary Johnson, and the future of politics in this country. The time is now. It's happening right now. If anyone has any foresight, they will plan for the coming economic crisis.

So, because I'm a senior citizen, you want *me* to die, so that a 30 year old neo-conservative can take my place.

I vote Ron Paul--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

I don't think your question is morbid-it is reality

Why do you think the GOP is so afraid of us? Because they know almost 1/3 of their base will not be able to support them. Many may be able to go out and vote, but as far as participating at conventions where they are needed most, it looks like their little club may be taken over by those crazy Ron Paul people. I DO see a 3rd party coming along and it will not be from us. It will be those types from the LAGOP and AZGOP. I see Ron Paul supporters taking over the GOP and ridding it of all the dinosaurs and squirrel scat.
