Rand Paul; it would be an honor to run alongside Romney

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/06/08/rand-paul-wo...

"The nomination is now done and Romney has achieved the amount of delegates necessary to be the nominee," Paul said. "Those are just facts. And I've decided to endorse Romney after meeting with him and talking about a lot of areas that we actually do have common ground on."

I haven't watched the video

I haven't watched the video yet but I will. Dr. Paul stated in an email just two days ago...

I wanted you to get an update from me personally, since we have some great news!

Due to the smart planning of our campaign and the hard work and diligence of supporters like you, we stand to send nearly 200 bound delegates to the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

And while this total is not enough to win the nomination, it puts us in a tremendous position to grow our movement and shape the future of the GOP!

I know anything can happen in August and for now I'm holding onto hope. There is nothing I would like more than to see Dr. Paul become the GOP nominee. But all signals from the campaign in recent weeks lead me to believe that Ron Paul does not see that happening. But a Rand Paul VP could be a real possibility. The stage is set.

I don't believe Rand would stab his father in the back. Everything that happens in politics is meticulously planned out. There is little doubt in my mind that Ron Paul is using the leverage he has accumulated, thanks to all his supporters hard work to get his son the VP nomination. And if that happens, I will take that as a sign that Ron sees a Romney/Paul victory in November as positive step towards his vision for the United States of America.

While the realization that Ron Paul most likely will not be the next president is a very painful pill for me to swallow, I am willing to follow his signals. I will not waste a chance to get a Paul in the white house.

Nah. I take it back. I just

Nah. I take it back. I just cannot vote for Romney and I don't believe this was Dr. Pauls doing. RAND sold out. There is only one man that will get my vote in November. Its all clear again. Never settle when your liberty is at stake.
