WTF?

I clicked that link and there was a 3-minute Obama advertisement. Seeshhh... good thing I can skip the ad, although the ad girl representing Obama is kinda cute.

Yet, he advocates the same econmic policies responsible for it.

Gary, is a follower of Milton Freidman and the Chicago School of Economics, while they are slightly more free market friendly, they are just another flavor of Keynesianism.

In Gary's interview with Robert Wenzel, he correctly said he would end the Fed if he could, but then he followed it up with saying he'd give the treasury the same power to create worthless fiat paper money and assume the same role the Fed does currently.

That's the whole problem, currency creation has to be taken away from the government, and individuals in the market place must be allowed to use Gold, Silver, or whatever else the market decides is money.

As long as the government can print up as much money as it wants, it will continue to grow itself and leave us penniless.

Keep in mind that Friedman

Keep in mind that Friedman was young and gullible when he helped get the witholding tax built in.

He thought it was going to be used to fund the war and then removed.

There is no one correct econonmic theory. They are all tools used to understand economics, none are golden. You can't say that because Austrians don't believe in Keynesian solutions, that Keynes ceases to be valid. Just like a hammer, you can use it to pound a nail or break someone's windshield.

Slightly free market???

Excuse me, but Milton Friedman's economics is not "slightly more free market friendly." Have you watched his Free To Choose series? Have you ever heard him saying that he preferred to get rid of the Fed, but because the government interest is so big that he did not foresee it happening anytime soon (I'm paraphrasing here)?

Even if I were to prefer Chicago economics over Austrian economics, does that make me less of a libertarian?

Thanks to Milton

We have the withholding tax, and if he had his way we would have the socialist pipe dream of a "negative income tax", which is redistribution of wealth on a grand scale.

David Friedman is a Chicago Schooler and an Anarcho-capitalist, he's certainly a libertarian, just wrong on economics.

WOW!

Gary Johnson must be a prophet or something! LOL

The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion.

Peter Schiff endorsed Gary Johnson

And Peter Schiff is not stupid.
After all the criminal activity evil GOP did to us we must send them a lesson - Mitt Romney coming in 3rd place in November.

And Ron Paul has the only plan to correct and reverse it.

not Gary Johnson.

Independent mathematical proof that all candidates except Ron Paul collapse the dollar.

No not for me because if Ron Paul will not endorse him

that is a big enough clue for me.I don't care very much for people that talk nice like Gary did to Paul and then stabbed him in the back. Gary Johnson would never get a vote from me unless he changed a whole lot of his policy's,did a whole lot of study on sound money and publicly apologized to Ron Paul because what he let go on on his official 2012 Gary Johnson website and facebook page was reprehensible, uncalled for and downright stupid.

http://www.dailypaul.com/163209/donations-to-gary-johnson-ap...

Gary put this article on his official 2012 campaign website.

As we pleaded for the longest time what was done? He put it on his facebook page to boot complete with the word racist that was a hyperlink to this "newsletter expose" on Ron Paul. http://www.tnr.com/article/politics/angry-white-man

How soon you people forget.

And that was after Ron Paul endorsed Gary in 2011 before Ron entered the race. Gary has never apologized for this to my knowledge and I think it really hurt Ron that he would stoop that low to try to make himself appear a better candidate than Ron and providing links to the famed "racist newsletters" on his campaign website.

And that I surmise is why Jesse Benton stated unequivocally a few weeks ago that Ron will not endorse him.

And BTW.....

The article was edited to omit anything negative about Ron Paul and made the clarification "The authors remarks concerning Rep. Ron Paul do not represent Gary Johnson or his campaigns viewpoint on the matter.
"

Nonetheless, it's not Johnson's job to keep Ron Paul's past a secret.

Bull

The article was posted on Gary Johnsons 2012 Campaign site and facebook page exactly like it it here complete with the hyperlink to the famed "racist newsletters in the word racist just like it is today.

No duh it was edited because of the backlash that idiot got from us. He burned his bridge and that is why RON PAUL WON'T ENDORSE HIM ANY FURTHER

Do you have a hard time understanding facts?

Everyone that saw this article know what the facts are as it is very clear by the original post here:

Now run along and promote GJ somewhere else because all that happens when he is brought up here is he gets stepped on and rightly so.
Ron wouldn't endorse him in a live GOP debate after GJ endorsed Ron when the question was asked "Who would you endorse?" Doesn't that give you some kind of hint or clue?

You seriously should consider

Giving this it's own thread! Especially considering all the GJ promo trolls who stormed in at the first stench of blood. Just a little reminder about GJ's character and why a lot of us are NOT fans!
Thanks for the post:-)
