Tom Woods: My Appeal To Ron Paul

Tom Woods' personal appeal to Dr. Paul, but let's us all listen in....

Ron Paul changed the world in 2007.
Spurn those who would have him change it back.

I know whats up....

At first I was appalled at your video Tom. Just the very notion that Ron Paul would turn his back on principle to support Rands political aspirations. That is not the Ron Paul I know and admire.

I was in the middle of thinking out loud "HOW DARE YOU" when it came to me.....

I know what up.... Ron Paul comes out on a national platform and re-affirms his fidelity to the constitution and rejects a Mitt endorsement. What a grand statement that would be.

Tom, you are part of the Mises institute , have been in communication with the campaign and frankly I believe you are setting the stage.....That's what you do.

You know damn well Ron Paul will always side with the constitution. In his entire career he has stared down his congressional colleagues and voted NO in their face!

I don't believe for one second and it never crossed my mind that he would sacrifice his principles.

What are you up to?

What are YOU up to?

I didn't hear Tom say a single bad thing here. What are you talking about? I think what he says is true and heartfelt. Why are you putting him down?

I'm not putting anyone down

I am simply aware of Tom Woods and know he has another motive. Tom knows Ron Paul would never sacrifice principle. So why does he come out and infer its even a possibility?

I never said anything about him being devious...As a matter fact completely contrary....

I actually think hes up to GOOD....

Damn, this is a rough crowd

Who cares if he has another

Who cares if he has another self interest in it?
He's a public speaker, he benefits every time someone sees his name!
His point is that there are people whispering in his ear, so it is good and encouraging to hear some support from the principled side of this argument.

Love is so powerful

Amazingly well put message. He is right it is love that I feel for Dr. Paul. He is the brightest light in a time full of darkness that brings hope to the apathetic, despaired and confused. Thank you Dr. Paul for just being you.

You fill me up with hope and set fire to my soul. You are a giant among men and I humbly stand on your shoulders to bring my fellow Americans around.

We stand united to continue your legacy and years from now you will go into the history books as the father of a new age, a true patriot not seen since the founding fathers. I feel we all say thank you but our actions will speak louder as we carry your torch of liberty to Tampa and beyond.

If Romney changes his

If Romney changes his opinions to Ron Paul's(IE Foreign policy, monetary issues) then Ron should endorse him like he has always said he would. But if Romney doesn't change to fit what Dr. Paul believes then Tom Woods is correct and Ron Paul needs to stand his ground to give the next wave of liberty candidates the courage to stand up to the establishment for the next 30 years.

Wh- wh- wh-what?

When did Ron say he would endorse Romney? You sir, are confused.

Im walking out the door but

Im walking out the door but wanted to respond. Its not exactly the interview I was thinking of but its close enough for now. Ill look more after the gym.

Tom didn't say Ron endorsed Romney or would endorse him

He suggested that Ron is being pressured. That's all. And, he's concerned that Ron is losing his base of supporters, and that the supporters are confused and worried.

I personally don't believe a Romney endorsement is forthcoming, not in my lifetime.

But, it is perplexing why Ron has failed to support the delegates going to Tampa. It is very costly to go in the first place, but he needs to appear as if he is with "us", not them.

My reply was not to Tom Woods but to a commenter who said Ron should endorse Romney "like he always said he would." Seems as though said commenter has since deleted post. Sorry for the confusion.

Ron Paul has said in multiple

Ron Paul has said in multiple interviews that if Romney changes his positions he could consider endorsing him. Maybe you haven't seen the interviews. But I will look for a link.

Yeah, but I'm sure hewas saying that tongue incheck and he never

thought even for a second that Romney would actually change his positions when all of his campaign donations and bribe money are saying fuck off Ron Paul and your message!! Of course you might be right, but Romney has also stated in videos that the influence one buys with donations is very real!! Sorry, but Romney is not changing, and that is for sure as Fuck, this guy supports the NDAA!!

Won't Happen

Jack Hunter has an article

Jack Hunter has an article from today that says RP supports Romney. Exactly who is this guy?

RE: Jack Hunter has an article

I just read Hunter's article from today and can't find the assertion that Dr. Paul supports Romney. Where is it in the article?

I would agree if Mitt Romney

I would agree if Mitt Romney didn't have such a track record of changing his policies. He cannot be trusted.

If you have thatmuch faith in Romney changing his views and goig

against the big money(his handlers) that put him in the same position as Obama then you my friend have either been watching and following a different candidate then I have or you've a fools hope, a lot of blind faith, or no common sense amongst you!! Romney might of changed his positions a ton, but he's always stayed true to the money, what promotes his career, and to telling you what ever he thinks you want to hear!!

A fool will believe Romney would change~~

I can't believe Rand is a fool, so I have to believe he is choosing the "lesser of two evils", and since he is a warmonger himself, why wouldn't he fit in with Romney?

But, as the son of Dr. Ron Paul, you would think he would have had more perspicacity than that.

He could have waited till after the convention and been LESS public about his endorsement. It shows a lack of tact, but it appears he has plenty of tact with the Big Rino Boys, that's for sure!

Thanx Tom

Our love for this great man and his family should never waver. I love you too, Ron!

George Carlin got thisright on aboutour government, ourmedia, and

Oh Hell yeah! Ron this man speaks the truth.

Never. Ever. Give. In. We are counting on you. You may or not become POTUS, but do not waiver on your principles.

I wish we'd have Tom instead

I wish we'd have Tom instead of Jesse.

Amen to that

"Just be Ron Paul and millions of us will support you."

Thank you, Tom.

Ron Paul will not be endorsing Romney, anyway. We know that.

I don't agree witheverything that GeorgeCarlin says, but when it

comes to voting for the lesser of two evils, I think he is Fucking spot on!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIraCchPDhk

God, why wasn't Tom Woods hired by Dr. Paul . . .

. . . to advise/manage the campaign?!?! Seriously, I'm reading Woods' books and I watch youtube clips of his lectures on libertarianism, foreign policy and the economy, and Jesse Benton doesn't hold a candle to this guy. His sense of history and understanding of the current political landscape would have been such a HUGE asset for the campaign. Plus he seems like the type of guy who has such a genuine love for the cause, that he probably would have offered his services for 10% of what Jesse Benton has been paid.

Of course, I don't know the whole story, and it's easy for me to criticize from the sidelines. Perhaps Tom Woods was offered a position in the campaign, and chose to not take part for his own personal reasons, but it seems like a great opportunity was missed.

Thomas Woods has no chance of being put in that position withthe

quality of characters and intellects of the likes of Jesse Benton and Trygve Olson!!!LOL!!

Thank you Tom Woods

It is so inspiring to hear those who see so clearly through the fog.

now that's what i'm talking about!!!!
