Obama vs Romney: Let's hear some rational views.

Who will you vote for (honestly)?

There's what Obama (has) done vs. what Romney might do.

Who do you vote for SOLEY based on the facts and basic forecasting?

Who has been literally worse for America and who is speculatively worse for America?

I'm Non-voterian and anti-lobbyinese -- so, you know my thoughts.

Oh you don't?

Voting is an abdication of consumer-rule as it attempts (the downstream voting patterns of politicians) either directly or indirectly through gov't spending to alter market decisions.

Lobbying is bribery (the purchase of future votes of an elected or hopefully elected official who promises to favor your camp).

Okay I Get You Octobox

...Just don't vote. What are you doing here? What is your point?
What does it have to do with Ron Paul strategy.

Why misleading post titles followed by your "bad government/sure nobody likes lobbyists here" ... "don't vote" ... with a little Mises thrown in?

I will write in Ron Paul if need be unless prior to November he lays out a good reason to do otherwise. I signed up with Ron Paul... I will stay with Ron Paul. There's my answer.

My thoughts on "how to" are all over DP.

Search the site "counter-economics, community-economics, consumer-economics"

Here's one link:

These arguments are over two years old now.

My thoughts on "how to" have evolved quite a bit, as an individualist should (constant search for "best of practices")

Are we takinga "best of practices approach" regarding "real" change in this country -- by applying tools created by corporatist to expand corporatism?

That makes sense?

This OP is just pointing the obvious out: that never once in all human history has freedom been one via as simple an act as voting and lobbying -- "no, here, take the blue pill"

I'm not stopping anyone, you are free to ignore me.

Bleet Bleet Bleet

I'm making Mises' argument (RP's Mentor) and you downvote me, so you can apply a model/method that has proven to NEVER work once in all human history.

Show me one time where "liberty" has won out utilizing the tools-of-war or tools-of-division?

Obama has proven himself to be a liar and Romney has done the same, so I think the only prediction that is accurate is that whatever either of them do, it won't be good for America.

The bold effort the present bank had made to control the government ... are but premonitions of the fate that await the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it-Andrew Jackson

I'll send those clowns a message

by staying home on election day and dressing up like a clown.

Obama vs Romney = death via

Obama vs Romney = death via drowning or firing squad.

Taxes: slight edge to mittens
War: slight edge to O. can't really defend, just gut.
Monetary system reform: draw
Spending: slight edge to mittens
Civil Rights: slight edge to O.

Conclusion: just push me off the roof.

BO vs. MR on war

I'm stuck on this.

We have Obama who will sort of hint at being more peaceful but has fully evidenced that he'll attack anything that moves.

Romney and really any republican is saying that the president is weak and is talking about more war. We would almost have to use George Bush's performance as to whether Romney would back it up.

I would say the sounder bet would be be Obama here. Maybe he'll be more peaceful if he gets his election 'political mandate'.

I'll be voting for Dr. Ron Paul. As well as 13 adults living in homes I can currently see from the window in front of me.

Rational views.

They are both anti-American, they both prefer war (murder) over peace. They both support a fractional reserve banking systems ripe with fraud perpetuated by a privately owned bank, they both change their minds often, they both support oppression of the American people, they both support globalization and they both show complete disdain for the rule of law, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

They are both handsome. They are both actors, although BO appears better in the drama department.

Two wings of the same bird, lesser of two evils, whatever.

Most people don't care, I understand. About 5% of the voting public participate in the process to nominate their "parties" candidate. About 45% will take the advise of the tell a vision, go to a polling station and vote for the person with a respective (R) or (D) next to their name. I'm fairly sure the biggest deal to most is getting that "I Voted" sticker so they can display their patriotism at work. The majority couldn't tell you the foreign or monetary policy of either (R) or (D).

One is a turd with corn. The other is a turd with peanuts. They both stink. So, hold your nose and pick your poison.

I'll be voting for Dr. Ron Paul

O K here you go

This will be the first

time in my life I will not vote or write in Ron Paul. I no longer want to be a party to the dog and pony show called elections.

Hi quilting

Haven't seen many of your posts lately, it's good to hear from you amidst all the insanity around here lately.

Hi! I do mostly reading

and hit the little up or down button now. This reminds me of the early DP days of rough and tumble but I kindda like it because it really forces me to evaluate the ideas and discussions on the table, of course we can do without the name calling.

We have been lied to and manipulated most of our lives, good or bad we must question every move and every request.

My husband gave up on politics last go round, I think I am giving up, this go round.

Hope all is well, Peace

Is this one of those Roseanne

Is this one of those Roseanne Barr? Or Rosie O'Donnell? questions????

"The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy."

Obama vs Romney is not a rational topic for Daily Paul

Nor is it a rational topic for one that claims to be a "Non-voterian," an irrational position for anyone wanting change within a system which requires voting.

There is not rationale

for these twins - tools for the nwo globalists. They don't think - they are puppets.

the twins - tied at the hip

You failed to pull the curtain.

Obama/Romney are one in the same = Obam-NEY. That is the only rational view that I can come up with.

Your choices remind me of the olden days when I used to click on msm news. They never posed a poll question that I could answer.

So, by write-in, if necessary.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

This sort of question really makes me think and

I like that you used the word "rational".

Honestly, I wrote in Dr.Paul in '08 BUT if the election had been close I would have voted for (gag, puke, gaag) Obama. I thought McCain guaranteed us WW3.

OK, so '12 I will vote for Johnson. I must say though that I still have some hope for Dr. Paul on the GOP side, even though he seems to think that won't happen. If the choice was only Romney and Obama I would not vote at all.
