Ever seen a Republican and a Democrat agree on anything controversial?
You have now. There's a presidential candidate that enjoys amazing bipartisan support. The problem is, he's having trouble being taken seriously by the mainstream media. But there are very good reasons for you to take Ron Paul seriously...
** Ron Paul spoke out against the Iraq war first in 1998 (because he saw it coming). In 2002, before the war started, he predicted the war would never end and turn in to something no American would be happy with. (Sound familiar)
** You'd get a huge raise once he gets rid of the IRS (and replaces it with nothing). The income tax only amounts to about a third of Federal revenues, but the government has grown by more than a third since 2000. That means all we'd have to do is cut spending back to what it was 7 years ago and we simply wouldn't need the income tax.
** Michael Scheurer led the CIA task force on tracking Bin Laden for years (starting before 9/11). He's stated that a Ron Paul presidency would be devastating to Bin Laden and his followers (more than any other candidate).
I'm very passionate about Ron Paul because I don't think we'll see a candidate like him again for many years (if ever). I understand that many of you aren't that interested or maybe think you'll get interested later in life. But I'm suggesting you suspend apathy for just 10 minutes.
Again, I don't think you'll have this opportunity again for a LONG time if ever. You don't want to later regret letting this opportunity pass by.
September 30th is the end of the quarter for fundraising and all the candidates will report how much money they raised over the last 3 months. Last time Ron Paul got millions of dollars in free advertising because he finished the quarter with more cash on hand than one of the front runners, John McCain.
I'm donating at least $25 to try and make sure that happens again. So I'm asking that you match that small donation to... (1) kick Bin Laden's ass, (2) get yourself a big raise, (3) and to support the troops (no, seriously, Paul got more donations from the troops last quarter than any other candidate).
It's just $25 at this link: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate
