Rand Paul, Alex Jones, Ron Paul, Etc.

I don't for a minute believe that my one post will do any good one way or another, but I have seen so much go in in the past few days that I have to say something.

I have seen Rand called a traitor. He is not.

I have seen Rand called horrible. He is not.

I have seen infowars try to discredit and divide people, using Rand. For any that still support Alex Jones, please use that as evidence towards not doing so anymore.

I do not like what Rand did. I will not support Rand financially because I do not like him "playing politics". I do worry that Ron Paul has let his judgement be affected by love for his son.

However, having said all of that. Rand is NOT an enemy, even if he is not quite a pure ally. I have seen every member here support much WORSE Republicans at different times, and hell even Barney Frank and Kucinich when they helped us.

I get it. You are hurt that Rand isn't Ron. We all knew that already. Let Rand get supported by the establishment, and congratulate him when he brings home a win for us occasionally just like we do for EVERY other politician.

Ron Paul cannot be blamed for loving his son.

Rand Paul cannot be blamed for not being Ron Paul.

Very Sensible

Liked the read as it can help people realize what politicians really are like rand, gary and the others and how ron is a statesman through and through.

We need more statesmen in this country, we need to REMOVE the politicians who feel the need to "play the system" in order to advance it. That has not worked before, why think it will now?

Even if we can get our people lying, stealing, cheating their way into these positions the establishment will simply remove, block or veto any real "change" that they hoped to bring.

We don't need the political game happening anymore. We don't need the country to be "red" for 4 years then "blue" and watch various state and federal laws go back and forth back and forth every 2 to 4 years.

We get that due to no one understanding the constitution, SELLING OUT in politics and everyone compromising in hopes of making things better. Odds are obama and romney both believe that compromise works as well and MAN does it work!!!!

I want to elect statesmen into ALL branches of office, I will NOT be voting for politicians anymore DONE DONE DONE.

Live and Let Live

Alex Jones

has reacted just like everyone else and does bring up the best points I have heard regarding this train wreck. Do not compromise your values for political gain. I don't need Alex Jones or anyone to tell me anything and I actually allow myself to think for myself.

I have come to the conclusion that Rand has endorsed a carbon tax supporter, and more war candidate, and globalist, someone who receives money from Goldman Sachs, someone who is for open boarders, someone who co authored Obamacare.

No mater how you try to put lipstick on the above pig it is still a pig. So, lets move on from Rand, spread liberty and say NO to compromises.

I will, however, reserve judgement of Dr. Paul until I hear what he says or deals with this betrayal, for lack of a better term.

We here, on the Daily Paul are Liberty, the idea of Liberty, no Man is, or can be, what WE represent. Happiness, Freedom, and Liberty.

nicely stated!

nicely stated!

This is what I've been trying to say

Alex Jones should not be trusted; he is an enemy in disguise. I wish he would just go away so all his brainwashed followers could come back to the true cause.

trust no one

but yourself. :)

Alex Is Just Doing His Job To Insert Dialogue

Although he is harshly criticizing, he is also saying that he will reserve final judgement to see how things play out... But he is at least warning us about the outcome possibilities as he has been correct on allot of his predictions...

This is actually good because we need this argument to happen in our forums as well as the MSM forums because we are "likely" going to face Dr. Paul not getting the nomination and the Romney campaign needs to know what kind of concessions to the liberty movement they may need to make in order to possibly get the RP vote so the Republican ticket can win the general election. Remember also, if for some UNLIKELY reason Ron Paul wins the nomination, we will also need to have a dialogue with the Romney campaign in order to possibly get their vote as well. For these reasons amongst others I believe is why Rand went ahead and did the endorsement because it's time that we start thinking about how to "unite" the Republican party although it sounds painful but may very well be necessary.

Also I would like to add that although many may not agree with Alex's argument tactics, they are quite effective and tend to get people's attention. And although I really like Ron Paul, it wasn't until I was introduced to Alex Jones and started to hear his arguments as well as learning more about how much bullsh*t and propaganda the MSM is feeding everyone about not only the election but everything else that works into the big picture about what we are facing, that I became more actively involved in the liberty movement versus just sitting back and observing.

This is not reserving judgement...

That is an outright attempt to smear through distortion.

Either Alex Jones doesn't understand our underlying principles or he is ignoring them. Either way speaks very poorly of the man. And from all that I have seen from him, he knows better and is just trying to stir crap up for whatever his reasons are.

Wolfe, you are absolutely correct about that..

Anybody who has been paying attention would know that the armed feds are attacking the farmers and raw milk producers.
And Rand sought to limit their armed intimidations.

I Think You Are Distorting It. Did You Read The Entire Article?

"For some reason or other he wants to prohibit Agriculture Department employees from carrying firearms “under certain circumstances.” At this point it is still vague which “circumstances” would prohibit employees from carrying, but this definitely flies in the face of everything we thought the Paul movement stood for. In the liberty community the right to bear arms and conceal carry are basically seen as the only things keeping our freedoms intact.

Hopefully Rand is trying to prevent things like the raiding of small pig farms in Michigan by armed government thugs, but in light of his recent actions, it’s hard to say."

Alex didn't "smear" Rand on this one, he's just asking more questions now, which is what I believe he meant when he said "The Honeymoon Is Over" Again, this "crap" is good to stir around at least for the purpose to help awaken more people to figure that something does seem to smell bad in this election, and that we may need to start asking more questions of everyone, not just Rand. And during the process of asking questions, truths tend to be revealed on all levels.

Amen!

Thank you for that post!

One thing, though ... the plethora of Rand bashers are not Ron Paul supporters (maybe just a few are). They are paid trolls that appeared on this site anywhere from 22 to 46 weeks ago. It's way too obvious. This site is easy pickin's for them, because the moderators are unnecessarily lenient.

What a way to make a living! One must have a true evil streak in them to be a destructive troll - especially on this site.

I fully support Rand Paul, screw Mitt Romney.

I intend to campaign against Romney.

On campaigning against Romney...

Romney, Obama, etc... Doesn't really matter who get's in...

If we can't have Ron Paul, I would personally like to elect:

Mr. "None Of The Above".

I think he would make a fine president.

I would prefer

I would prefer Mrs. None of the Above. It's about time we have a woman for a non-president.

Yeah, that works for me... :)
