Howard Stern is on the Ron Paul Train

Here's another message from Howard (thank you, Howard!). It's not an outright endorsement but it's quite a bit closer than it was a few days ago. Howard is a believer!

When all the world begins to crumble around you reach out and touch the things that make your soul sing. Then think how fortunate we are to have a candidate who can save this wavering republic. Iowa and NH are simply the first obstacles. There will be many more. Ron Paul's message and our individual and collective resolve will change this campaign. GO RON PAUL!.

I don't listen to Howard, but I liked his argument for RP
I was actually impressed with what he had to say. I don't listen to him b/c of his vulgarity so I was surprised to hear how articulate he was on the issue of media bias.
Jesus is the saviour of the WHOLE WORLD, "As in Adam all die, so too in Christ ALL shall be made alive." (ICor.15:22) All means all. The pagan 'hell' of literal fire & eternal torment is a lie and is SPIRITUAL TERRORISM. http://www.hopebeyondhell.net/blog

They are advertising on CNBC
... on Sirius 129, during Power Lunch. Very smart of them, btw. So, I would think they're on top of it. They should produce an ad going after the FCC immediately, referencing the Fox Forum snub along with a couple of other issue-targetted ads (*cough* the Iraq War *cough*) and get them playing now.

I think
The campaign should rerun or put new ads on Howard 100 and Howard 101 on Sirius. The campaign should also arrange a call-in interview to the show. There is no reason he has to go into the studio. Howard knows a lot of his fans are RP supporters and also knows how RP was the only politician to defend his free speech rights in Congress.
Howard would treat the interview seriously. Christine Todd Whitman, Pataki, Rudy, and Mario Cuomo, way back, used to call the show all the time. The interviews would go well for the politicians(that's why they called in when needed) and many Howard fans voted for them. Christine Todd Whitman renamed a rest stop, though very controversial, for Howard because she said he was the reason she one a tight race.
Therefore, I think it is a good idea to email the campaign and Howard about doing a call-in interview. We need all the support we can get.
For those not supporting this, saying it will be bad for RP's image, just think of what the old media has said about him already. Just because a politician calls into a show or does an interview with someone doesn't mean that the politician supports everything about the person interviewing them. To say otherwise, is typical dirty politics and just not right, and RP doesn't play the political game, i.e. not returning the "white racist" donation.
And, speaking of race...
Howard's show is one of the ONLY places around where people are honest about race, racism, and irrationality surrounding it. People who don't understand the show (due to the ironic media bias I keep mentioning -- it's not like Ron Paul's the only victim!) can't see the humor in making Daniel Carver review "The Color Purple," but believe me, it's hilarious. And it doesn't promote the KKK (hell, if he ever did they'd probably do like Sanjaya and start getting popular!).

Get Ron PAUL ON HIS SHOW
Let's all contact Howard Stern and see if we can get Ron Paul on his show!!

Please, for the umpteenth time, DON'T
The people who listen have already emailed Fred, the rest of you would just annoy him. It's NOT up to Fred right now. You DO NOT want to annoy Fred if you want us to win them over. Fred's not the problem anyway. Want to annoy someone with thousands of emails? Try the official RP campaign. Tell them this:
"You people need to pay attention to sarcasmo's idea on the Daily Paul, and PAY A LOT for ads -- the kind Howard reads -- on the Stern & Bubba shows. Said ad needs to be a verbatim recording of what Howard Stern said on Tuesday, involving 0 additional work for Howard Stern. You should have done this Tuesday, because Howard had already said nice things on Monday. Ironically, you're not doing it due to irrational media bias, rather than a rational appraisal of an excellent (albeit sex-obsessed) interviewer."
Shockingly-enough, Howard will probably like this approach better than an unsolicited mailbomb from non-listeners.

i agree
i agree. Howard has millions of listeners. Even if there are people that hate Howard, they wouldn't even know he was on his show anyway, because they don't listen to him.
It's the Economy Stupid (round 2)
Howard Stern understands that Ron Paul not only is speaking common sense...but the good Doctor understands that our US economical system is burning down around us and needs to be seriously addressed.
It's the economy stupid---was a ringing mantra that got Bill Clinton elected.
Now it's round 2 and nobody is touching this dilemna...too monsterous to touch I suppose...only the good Doctor is willing to address it and diagnose an operation procedure:
answer: Dig out the out of control cancerous growth of our runaway government and it's many diverse tentacles.
Vote Ron Paul
Texas Must Secede
We can count the vote.
We can kick out the CFR and anyone who has mislead us. Rehabilita war criminals on our farms. Have a vast amount of Mexican workers who have a better standard of living than the the other smaller states.
We can have President Ron Paul and our lives meanings will not be lost!

Interesting guest today
Drew Carey = Libertarian and pro-Medicinal Marijuana
He is a guest TODAY on the Howard Stern show.
Like I said
Stern is a good guy, but RonPaul might as well start hanging out with the Donald, Ross Perot, Ralpph Nader. and Pat Paulson, if he goes on the show, and recieves an endorsement.
The only thing worse in public perception would be a Buchanan endorsement, and Pat's smart enough to know that.
Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.
Bad Image By the Media
Howard Stern actually has a very large range of demographics.
Many people listen, because he's on sirius now it may not be as
big as he was on terrestrial radio.
8.3 MILLION subscribers listen to sirius.
Let's consider than most homes have 2 accounts (1 for each car)
4.15 MILLION people listen to Stern
Stern fans are very devout and take Stern's advice to heart.
I think an interview would be great.
two thirds
of Sterns audience does not vote.
They're more interested in Howard spanking strippers.
The point is moot anyway, because Paul is smart enough not to attend the party.
Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.
You have no proof of this.
Howard's audience is very diverse in age and income. Plenty of them vote -- ask winning northeastern RINOs he's endorsed in the past. Howard's basically a libertarian, but not a terribly political guy. And, just as I said here months-ago before Howard started saying nice things, I fail to see how getting interviewed by Howard Stern is any worse for the Paul campaign than getting interviewed over-and-over by Alex Jones. That's even more the case today. The official RP campaign has spent this entire week sleeping through this opportunity instead of spending a bit of money to put their commercials back where they had been over Christmas break.

I'm interested in Howard
I'm interested in Howard spanking strippers and voting.
Even if 2/3 of Howard's audience doesn't vote, 1/3 is still 2 million potential voters.
Again, I really think the
Again, I really think the Ron Paul HQ needs to take some initiative here. They've pretty much been invited to come on, but perhaps they're too afraid. Really, I don't think Dr. Paul has anything to lose. There's over 5 million listeners to the Stern show, and many of them take Howard's word as Gospel. If Ron Paul would go on the show, and Howard endorses him, it could lead to hundreds of thousands of new voters for Ron.
Let Stern talk up Paul without
an endorsement or a buddy buddy thing.
Howard ran for Governor as a Lib, and he is seen as synonomous with the Third Party movement.
The press will have a field day.
This would place Paul in the Reform Party light and would not be good.
A lot more damaging than righteously angry villagers chasing the troll Hannity.

I can't believe he's wondering why
people are not taking him seriously. I thought he of all people would know about media exclusions...It is just a tragedy that Howard Stern doesn't understand how the MEDIA is completely BIASED and MONOPOLIZED
But other than that, I think we should totally encourage him to learn more about RP and his massiving following, our revolution!
Woo hoo! That was awesome!
Gotta love howard..

Patriots attack the poll and show Howard we stand strong. Howard would be a huge asset for spreading the word and getting his fans (8.2 million) to donate. Please get this post noticed I don't know how to get it listed properly. Make no mistake Howard is a Patriot.
The campaign NEEDS to buy into this...
Yes, there are a few anti-Howard people out there, but if we buy Howard's words VERBATIM from Tuesday's show we'd have a great ad. I've been thinking about the best way for the good Doctor to go on the air, and I think I've come up with something that might work AND might get us widespread attention.
Howard's a fan of Bubba the Love Sponge, but Sirius can't pay Bubba enough (in part due to Howard's salary and in part due to not being allowed to ever-in-hell merge with XM). Bubba has therefore been forced to go back to over the air "normal" terrestrial radio, and Howard listened in the other day just to remark what torture it must be for poor Bubba, who is used to doing wild stuff to willing weirdos with dog-shocking collars on his show.
Anyway, Bubba's also a fan of Ron Paul, and the campaign could easily get them to take a phone call and (hopefully) have Howard & Robin listening-in with Bubba's over the air show, and able also to comment or ask questions by phone. This way the candidate won't have to be in the studio & get anywhere-near Sal & Richard.
JMR
He mentioned a listener
He mentioned a listener asking to have RP on the show. Can someone call the Howard News Line and ask if Lisa G could interview RP and, hopefully that might lead to an interview?
neopaulite
Lisa would be nice, but
I want Robin asking a few questions, too. I think our best strategy is twofold:
1. Buy the ads we should have bought day before yesterday.
2. Have an interview by phone with all of them on Bubba's over the air radio show.
This would reward our friends in the best way possible. And clips on YouTube would not be chased-down by copyright shysters if -- as I expect with all humor shows -- RP again shines.
JMR
I thought this was the old one..
when I saw the headline but this is new! And he is reading everyones letters. Damn its about time. This is great! He has like a zillion listeners right? lol
This is great!
Yeah
I think we need to keep trying to get Howard's attention - Maybe he'll have Dr. Paul on. He's digging the whole FCC thing now that he knows about it as well. I really don't think Howard sees much of the news that happens outside his studio.
Nice to know that email I sent him last month might have actully counted for something!
