False
They are from contesting political parties within the 2012 Presidential race.
Otherwise, I see your philosophic point but pragmatically disagree

Are you speaking for Michael the owner of this website?
You are not.

STAND WITH RAND 2016
I am
speaking for myself and as a supporter of the Paul 2012 Campaign; advocates of the GJ Campaign have a home elsewhere outside of this website
I Speak For Myself as a Supporter of Freedom
The core of the Ron Paul campaign consists, in large part, of people he met going to Libertarian Party conventions through the years--which makes sense, since he's the only one who really represents what we stand for.
If you think I can't support both of them, you seriously underestimate me. I think most people on the DP would welcome my support even though I am not a Republican or a hero-worshiper (Ron Paul or die!). Dr. Paul has said many times, "it's not me, it's the message."
What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

1) The core of the Ron Paul campaign consists, in large part, of people he met going to Libertarian Party conventions through the years
Disagreement: according to these accounts, most modern supporters were introduced to RP through the debates, media appearances or personal recommendation

2) If you think I can't support both of them, you seriously underestimate me
I have made no such personal inference; your comment is therefore incorrectly presuppositional
3) I think most people on the DP would welcome my support
Perhaps, but it is inappropriate during a political contest
you can speak for me for a while too
these trolls are tiresome.
"The two weakest arguments for any issue on the House floor are moral and constitutional"

Not to worry
Most trolling arguments are unsound and disintegrate like Duck Dodgers' gun ; )

I fixed it
Can you please change your vote and give it a thumbs up now?
November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul

Sorry
the title remains the same and would assumedly diffuse momentum for the Paul 2012 Campaign; down-vote held
You are now asking more than I can give.
Sorry.

Technically untrue

I have to hand it to whomever in the LP
that is turning out good ads and slogans and social libertarian rallies etc. Too bad all that good creativity is being plowed into a weak candidate. It may drain a lot of support that could have gone far more effectively toward the real changes Ron Paul represents.
This weekend in my town Gary is marching in a big Gay Pride event that may well pull support from many who could better be educated by the Ron Paul r3VOLution. Dividing the potential liberty vote is the main grudge I have against the LP. They did it less effectively in 2008, but it rankled then too.
Of course some responsibility is for the official RP Campaign hiring slick mercenaries for its ads and promos. No passion in them to match the material being put out by the LP. Then the strategy of running in the Repub. party, while effective, undoubtedly muted the message that could appeal to the average voter in that demographic.
Good points
But GJ is not a weak candidate at all.
Have you heard what people like Peter Schiff and Barry Goldwater Jr. said about GJ?

I have not listened to Schiff's words on this, and
don't follow Goldwater so haven't heard his view. I can't imagine that either of them would make a point that would bolster Johnson's qualifications as a candidate supposed to represent libertarianism yet knowing very little about libertarianism.
I do think he's among the good Republicans, as is Rand for instance. But both have been inconsistent in their policies. Since we have an excellent candidate who is consistent, Gary is a distraction and siphons energy from the Ron Paul effort.
I fail to see why...
the Daily Paul has to be pro-Paul. Why can't it be pro-liberty?
Because we don't own it,
Because we don't own it, Nystrom does and its pro Paul. Pretty simple really.

Exactly. Dr. Paul's ideas . .

Look at it this way...
The ideas are the subject of that, not Dr. Paul. As in, if someone is pushing similar ideas that Dr. Paul is pushing, then he is within the bounds of the website to be discussed, and trying to kick people out for supporting people than Dr. Paul *gasp* is not the correct course of action.
Has he said anything?
Regarding other liberty candidates, such as Gary Johnson...
Cool
Hopefully it will help clean up some of the mess around here with people stumping for Johnson on the Daily Paul. Personally, I think its premature to be pushing Johnson here on the DP. We still have lots of Paul supporters getting down and dirty for delegate positions. We should stay focused on Paul here at least until after the convention. Those delegates need our support.
Blessings )o(
Why not just call it "Johnson Activists" or something other
than an obvious take-off on DP? I'm too raw right now.
Maybe after the convention...
Maybe after a different name...

hmm Thanks
I will stay on the Daily PAUL.
