Omg! Ron Paul Endorsed Newt Gingrich!

We should all disown Ron Paul. He endorsed an establishment candidate...

NEWT GINGRICH!!!

http://www.ronpaul2012.com/2012/06/11/ron-paul-john-boehner-...

Now that the whine-fest is over...

Can we all go back to fighting for liberty?

I know Rand Paul is. He put forth several GREAT bills in the Senate this week that, if passed, will go a long way toward advancing the cause of liberty.

What are you doing?

Whining about his endorsement?

Get over it. He's probably the 2nd best fighter for liberty we have in the Congress... until Ron retires... then he'll be #1.

Or we can all wait around until 535 Ron Paul clones run for Congress at the same time.

Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves

This is another spin article from Jack Hunter. I've been reading the forums, he's apparently taken to directly lying and misquoting on a lot of recent articles as other people have been pointing out.

The "endorsement" was from 1996, and Hunter neglects to mention that Gingrich then tried his best to get Ron Paul to lose his house seat. What a snake. And that is how you should be aware of them.

Jack Hunter is trying to get you to believe contrary to what Jesus Christ said to believe - beware of wolves in sheep's clothing - and to be wise as serpents but harmless as doves.

Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

Gingrich campaigned against Ron Paul:

Friend, there is a reason that America has gone from a free country to fascism and a police state in 30 years. It's called compromise with evil.

I like how some people critise not sinning as "purity". God calls us to be pure. We are not to do evil, we are not to support it in any way.

There are two types of people on this site - those that think its about wordly politics. And those that seek God's answer.

God is in charge. Who is wiser? God says you will never be a ashamed to trust him.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

So weak.

Incredibly weak.

Jack Hunter is doing a great job

trying to blog some sense into the purists in this movement. Keep up the good work Jack. Give 'em a few more weeks, they'll eventually cool off and we can all get back to work taking over the Republican Party one district at a time.

You should trust in God

You should trust in God instead of telling people to do the wrong thing.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

Just the amount of trouble people go through

to justify the mess by the campaign is astounding to me. A part of the liberty movement is to be able to think for yourself. I don't think trying to make excuses for someone even all the evidence point to them being wrong is right ...

Great point

The position Rand Paul is in, and the reasons he had to endorse Romney, are very similar to the position Ron Paul was in, and the reasons he had to endorse Gingrich.

I think people have this false image of Ron Paul. He is a politician. You can endorse establishment candidates without compromising your principles. Ron Paul has done it, and Rand Paul just did it.

Now, stop dissing Rand Paul and on to Tampa!

Old news....yawn

Yeah, I agree this is a senseless post. You are just stirring the brew. I'd rather visit the moon as well...

What is senseless...

Is the constant bashing of Rand Paul on this website.

The man is up there trying to get us our rights back... and we're all yelling at him calling him a traitor.

He said all along he would support the republican nominee, whoever it is, and whether we like it or not, it looks like it's going to be Romney... and Ron Paul has supported some less than savory characters in the past himself in order to avoid someone worse getting the nod.

That's politics.

We're not going to find 535 exact Ron Paul clones. If they are working to do some of the things Rand Paul is working on... they're all right in my book.

Ron also endorsed Bush in

Ron also endorsed Bush in 2000. Why? Because he ran on a humble foreign policy with no nation building and lower taxes. Romney stands for neither, really. I've said before that the reason I'm upset with Rand over this is that Romney has not come our way on a single issue that I'm aware of. And I don't know if simply auditing the Fed is enough to justify an endorsement. But irrespective of that, Rand said all along he'd endorse the nominee. Lucky for him we did not nominate a baby hitler, or else he'd have been screwed... oh wait.... nvm.

By bringing this up again

you're just as guilty as everyone else for talking about it and just as annoying.

Solution? Don't make any more posts about this nonsense.

This is a losing article from Jack Hunter with lots of spin.

You're right...

Rand has been horrible for the liberty movement. We should simply disown him.

Let's just wait around until the next Ron Paul clone comes around, and we'll hold off on fighting for liberty until he shows up.

In the meantime, instead of working with people like Rand.... we should stick with the Pelosi-types.

I mean Rand is such an evil snake and all... compared to Pelosi.

GET REAL FOLKS.

Ron Paul will probably not get the nomination and Rand Paul is working to do everything he can to advance the liberty agenda... for the most part... so let's not give up on the 2nd best person in the Congress yet.

I knew there was some reason I liked Newt...

I always dreamed about visiting a base on the moon when I was a kid.

But really though...

I don't like Newt.

I was just kidding. :)

Looking at the big picture

Will allow you to see the sense in the moves of others. We all want to win this thing but we have to play the game a little.
