Land for Food

Why is not land set aside and the peoples can grow their own at a much, much lower cost to the taxpayers.

Oh yeah, the big grocers and suppliers would lose sales. Those corps are dependent on government as much as those on social assistance. Wonder who is paying for it all? ;)

Btw, the Amish and those like them must have gotten some great deals in the real estate collapse imo. thousands and thousands and thousands of sq. miles lol

Where the hell did that number come from? I think total cost for the entire program which includes much more than just food stamps is 78 billion per year. I think Rand better start with the more pressing budgetary issues(military for 1) than wasting his time with this issue.
