Attention: Another "I'm Leaving the Daily Paul" and "I'm Ashamed of All of You" Thread - Entertainment Thread:

Just thought I'd start a thread for all the babies that need acknowledgment of their "Leaving the Daily Paul" or "Farewell All, I Can't Participate Here Anymore", or "I'm So Ashamed To Be A Part Of This Movement", or "Dr. Paul Would Be Ashamed", or "This Place Isn't What I Signed Up For", or "Shame On All Of You", or "This Is My Last Post", Ect, etc, etc...

Grow up and stop starting "sympathy threads" for attention.

If you don't want to participate, don't let the door hit you in the ass. Log off and don't come back; go play on facebook or something and stop with the whiny baby BS!

I see these threads pop up daily and think to myself "For crying out loud this person must be suffering from a real case of "feel sorry for me", I need acknowledgement from others to justify my beliefs; I'm a pathetic loser that doesn't have a life, so I'll start a "feel sorry for me thread" and see how many people will leave me a "Please don't leave comment".

Grow Up Loser!

The next time someone starts a "Feel Sorry For Me Thread" or a "Shame On All Of You Thread", just paste this link as a comment; maybe they'll start to get the picture:

No one likes to hear 18 to 88 year old men and women acting like cry babies and attention whores.

Stop wasting valuable bandwidth space with your sympathy BS.

Ron Paul 2012!

I'm leaving

For an "entertainment" thread...you should have made the title "Would you like a little cheese with your whine?"!

Two sides of the story...

At the end of the day there is a more scary and dangerous worry than the "whiners".

As the French Revolution was wrapping up there were many who screamed "Liberty!" that demanded a purging of their ranks of those who were even suspected of having different ideas on how to implement a secular govt to replace the monarchy.

This resulted in the xenophobic, maniacal and genocidal Reign of Terror. All in the name of "Freedom", "Liberty" and "Brotherhood".

Maybe the whiners have their problems. But I guarantee that some of you who instantly scream like scalded sociopaths are anxious for a "necessary purging in order for 'liberty' to have a chance". There is no real Liberty without love and mercy.

I'll deal with the whiners any day versus selfish self-loving "warrior saints in your own mind" Clockwork Orange type punks who seem to dominate Daily Paul now days. What is so special about the "skill" of noticing something that makes you feel uncomfortable and then yelling and screaming "silence them!" (which will one day turn into "off with their heads!)? Only someone overloaded with narcissism and delusions of grandeur and stunted social development would take "pride" in such an infantile behavior.

Perhaps, THE most significant difference between the American and French revolutions was the unexpected-by-the-world mercy and forgiveness the Americans showed towards former Royalists. Your attitudes will one day be fuel for real and serious action on the streets and not just your internet fantasy life you lead on Daily Paul. This is serious business. Your attitude today may kill someone tomorrow when and if our movement is take to real streets with real human blood at stake.

I wish the whiners would find some new tactic because I hate unnecessary drama. But you "anti-troll warriors" who feign being Great Protectors, you scare the hell out of me. And you should be worried that you are not scaring yourself... o_O

Oh Man,Lol.

I quit once and they were right, "You will be back". lol.

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

I'm so ashamed of you people,

I'm so ashamed of you people, I'm throwing out my computer and moving to the North Pole. That's right, I am! Maybe a polar bear will eat me. Won't you feel bad then!

On second thought, maybe I'll go to the beach instead.

Oh Yes!! I'm leaving the Daily Paul..

But I'm coming back later tonight :)

It's time! Rand Paul 2016!

"Truth, Justice, and the American Way!"

Leave Benton alone!

He was under old Trygve's spell, and now he's lost all credibility and validity... and he would've lost his integrity had he any.

But before dismantling Campaign HQ for the grassroots to regain control, let's give Jesse a framed Rombama portrait as a farewell gift, and perhaps something special to Trygve for teaching us a sound lesson in dealing with snakes and leaches.

Meanwhile, we'll patiently wait for Dr Paul's communication, pending finalization of his internal investigation.

But leave poor Jesse alone. It was just a spell. And he's got Rand all to himself now... and Trygve.

What kind of

Name is Trygve? I cannot even pronounce it!

It's time! Rand Paul 2016!

"Truth, Justice, and the American Way!"

Just ignore the 'I'm leaving

Just ignore the 'I'm leaving posts'. If they stop getting attention, they will go away. Simple.

~Your perception becomes your reality~

Yeah... about that...

Come on dude.

Are you saying your thread is any less histrionic?

It is pretty shameful to see how fractured our movement has become.

Pretty soon those of us who believe in Rand and believe the movement has a future are going to be sick of the abuse and just get on board with the GOP like Rand.

Quit shutting people off and they won't have to tell you why they want to shut off.

Maybe you should read my other comments below.

And congratulations Sir, you posted your rant on this thread instead of starting a new one.

That's why I started this thread: Hopefully people with rants or agreements to my post will keep it on this thread instead of starting 200 more new one's over the next upcoming weeks/months.

This could be the official "I'm leaving" or "I love it here" thread :)

Not trying to stifle free speech at all, quite the contrary. Just sick (as I'm sure others are) of the constant bombardment of new threads on the new forum topics stream to the right with "This is my last post at DP" or "I can't be a part of this movement anymore" threads.

Read my other comments below, and have a nice day.

He he!

I swear most of us on here are in it for the long haul but the novelty of people bearing their souls on here has worn off. If you want to give up leave the majority of us think that you are pathetic. If you are in this movement to see change then never give up or give in.

Thanks for your post I believe you speak for the silent majority on the Daily Paul.

Lord Acton, Lord Chief Justice of England, 1875 - "The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the People v. The Banks."

this thread...

is as ridiculous as the ones it condemns. its as much a shout out for attention as any other.

this one does however offer edicts and instructions on how one speaks, to whom, and in what context.

the irony is simply spectacular.

I agree

Everybody is censored! Be quiet do not voice AN OPINION.

Don't be alarmed because Rand Paul sold out.

Or because his Father the Real true to his convictions Ron Paul would never have sacrificed his principles and endorsed Romney.

Ron Paul is the man, I only wish he had a stronger speaking voice and a better orator. It would have made a big difference.

When you see what is going to happen to this country in the next few years think Calcutta. 30% more manufacturing to leave the US.

Part of the reason is folks still think Conservatives have the solution, they don't. No more than Liberals and they don't either.

Ron Paul would have and probably has made the biggest difference on the political landscape in a long time and for some time to come.

But like occupy it will falter and the US will sink so low it will not recover for decades. Jobs outsourced will not return.

Once the US outproduced the world several times over now the US is broke and deeply in debt. Sadly it is over because the masses are asleep and those that are waking are misguided though well meaning.

I hate it when I see Joe six pack in his pick up truck bearing stickers "proud to be an American". Proud about what? The US is last in almost every category including freedom!

Let us talk about the score. Oh yea did you see the game? Have a couple of brews?

Give me a break!

Oh woe, woe, woe is me!

Yes, some are pointless, some are uninformed, some have just had enough, and some just cause bad feelings and arguments. Tiresome? A bit. But the Daily Paul wouldn't be what it is without many of these people.

What are you fightin' for?
Caught in the middle?
Freedom is only for those with the guts to defend it!

Funny, D4L

I once put this video on DP and for some reason it got down voted... more than once, too. LOL. Funny. I thought it was quite appropriate. It still cracks me up every time I watch it. http://youtu.be/oheuQfHUf2s

I think

it is very appropriate and pretty much sums it up.

And some folks just hate everything! Humor must be interjected carefully around here or someone will get upset.

I just said this, but here is better.

You are hip deep in the morass of relativism. Get out of it, bro.

That is my recommendation to you. I hope that this member who is considering leaving will reconsider. All that I can say is that this is the Daily Paul. We are a bunch of dyed-in-the-wool followers of Ron Paul who are absolute, uncompromising, Constitutionalists. I'm just stating what I know to be true today. There are no grays, just black and white, the test is the Constitution. Formal changes should be made if there is now a new way to evaluate how concepts and ideas are tested. If things have changed, let me know. This is what I know to be true. This place provides a wealth of knowledge and ideas from our very intelligent members and anyone who has spent anytime here should see that.

the comments are better than the post

and that was hard to beat

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

It has become The DailyFacebook.

And perhaps Facebook habits have influenced this phenomena, but I agree with you entirely about this compulsion for every Tom, Dick, and Harry to START A NEW THREAD for the purpose of telling everyone how they "feel". As if their "feelings" deserve a whole thread dedicated to THEIR statement!! This is not saying that we shouldn't share and vent and question and comment on the DailyPaul. It's just that numerous threads have been available to do just that, and we don't need a new one opened every time someone wants to make their personal declaration.

You are also correct that the reason for these threads is either "feel sorry for me" or "agree with me that I am 'right'." It's all a need for ego-stroking, but then again, isn't that what Facebook is all about?

Let's not be The DailyFacebook.

My Grandfather told me years ago, that one of the best signs of

maturity, was when people stopped needing acknowledgment from others for their actions, meaning:

When you become of a certain maturity, you don't need approval or a pat on the back, or acknowledgment from others for things you've done or have not done yet. You don't need any cheerleaders in your corner justifying your actions, etc.

He said you can always tell when you're dealing with an immature individual, because they constantly need a "pat on the back" or "acknowledgment" from others, or "approval" for certain actions or deeds.

He said when one is mature in their own right, they'll just do what they feel they need to do and won't bring it to others attention for approval or acknowledgment.

Kind of like a child who needs constant praise from his/her Mother or Father for something they've done or created. At some point the child is supposed to move out of the dependent on praise mode and go down their own path of art or what have you, without the constant need for approval from others.

When a man finally grows up and becomes a man, he doesn't need approval or praise, acknowledgement from others for providing for his family, etc. He just does what he has to do and doesn't give a rats a$$ what anyone else thinks. But when he was a teenager, the words of encouragement from other family and friends may have been very much needed. When he finally matured and became a man, he needs no approval or encouragement from anyone; he knows what he has to do and just does it without seeking praise/acknowledgement from family and friends by saying "Hey, I brought home a paycheck this week and bought the kids groceries, aren't you going to acknowledge my sacrifice?"

We all need a pat on the back from time to time; we all need a little encouragement and acknowledgement through life, but the self pity "This is my last post" threads are really childish in my opinion.
