Bush Advises Hillary CampaignSubmitted by militant on Tue, 09/25/2007 - 03:28
It seems Bush is betting on Hillary being the next POTUS. Perhaps he knows something we don't? Two stories got my attention, on subsequent days. In the first, Bush predicts Hillary will get the Democrat nomination. In the second, Bush is apparently working with Hillary and others to adjust their positions and maintain the flexibility to stay in Iraq. I consider this an attempt to trap us all in that country for the next presidential term or two.
From the Hartford Courant:
President Bush says he believes Hillary Rodham Clinton will defeat Barack Obama in the Democratic presidential primaries.
Bush also predicts that Clinton will be defeated in the general election by the Republican nominee.
From the Charleston Examiner:
President Bush is quietly providing back-channel advice to Hillary Rodham Clinton, urging her to modulate her rhetoric so she can effectively prosecute the war in Iraq if elected president.
Nice to see our leaders are being hand-picked and groomed for us. One last link seems somewhat appropriate here.
My master lets me vote for a new master,
every few years.
I cannot vote to have no master,
but he generously lets me choose
between two candidates he has selected.
I eagerly wait until election day,
since voting allows me to forget that I am a slave.
Until then, my current master tells me what to do.
I accept this.
It has always been so,
and I would not change tradition.
My master is a good man.
