Excellent Gary Johnson Interview

I know there will be some on here who will be upset at a GJ post but, to reiterate a point I made in another thread, the liberty movement is about more than one person (said by Ron Paul). My #1 choice by a LOT is Ron Paul but if he doesn't get the nomination and retires then GJ is getting my vote. He's no Ron Paul (he certainly doesn't understand economics the Way Ron does) but he'd be a major step in the right direction for this country and he is absolutely a fiscal conservative.

Gary "The Big Silly" Johnson

The Daily Johnson is definitely popular with the ladies...

I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: "O Lord make my enemies ridiculous." And God granted it.

They don't have enough people I guess

Just like FOX and MSM, they'll co-opt someone elses success (think Tea Party and Daily Paul).

Real eyes realize real lies

We want our country back

Every year is a year for Ron Paul!

Don't have enough people?

We are the "people" you speak of! Nobody is talking about co-opting the movement, we're talking about continuing the Liberty message beyond Tampa if RP doesn't become the nominee.

Why you shouldn't support Gary Johnson?

Because he actively ran AGAINST Ron in the Republican race then dropped out of the Republican bid to go Libertarian instead of endorsing Paul. AND when Paul wins the Republican nomination Johnson will still run AGAINST Paul.

Why? Because Gary Johnson's sole purpose in this race is to divide Paul's support. Gary Johnson is a tool of the establishment and a space cadet to boot.

Wow!

Using terms like "space cadet" to describe Johnson is no better than the MSM using "kook" to describe RP. Gary Johnson as a plan b if Dr. Paul isn't nominated makes perfect sense. It seems like most of the downvotes are comming from newer members who are probably here to fracture this movement.

Not to mention.....

Not to mention that Gary is a pro-abortion globalist with ties to CFR who is on record telling kids that drugs are "cool".... If that is not enough, how about the fact the he not be able to garner more than 1/4 of 1 percent of the vote...Even if Ron is not the nominee--he will get more write in votes for president than Johnson will get being on the ballot.

Ron Paul 2012 - It's Almost Here!

IOW, if Ron is out, and you

IOW, if Ron is out, and you don't vote "to save the children" by voting Romney, you have no morals. Right?

Well, if you hate abortion,

Well, if you hate abortion, you then HAVE to vote for Romney, do you not? Because Ron is gone.

I would hope everybody hates

I would hope everybody hates abortion..Even most who are pro-choice hate abortion.

I was unaware that Ron was gone. Where did he go and when did it happen? MORON!

Ron Paul 2012 - It's Almost Here!

I take it all back. I'm

I take it all back.

I'm voting for Ron Paul when he wins the Republican nomination.

Let's see what has more

Let's see what has more impact in terms of real results...Ron's 500+ delegates (which will help shape a platform of a party that can actually win in the future) of the 0.25% or less that Gary "I am a neo-con in denial" Johnson gets on election day.

Ron Paul 2012 - It's Almost Here!

I hope they both have a lot

I hope they both have a lot of results.

Incorrect!!!!

He ran because he thought Ron WASN'T RUNNING. Then a month after Gary committed to being in the race, Ron Paul, rather than supporting Gary, ACTIVELY ran AGAINST Gary Johnson as the the liberty candidate.

And even then Gary supported Ron in every way he could.

Gary endorsed Ron Paul in 2008 and thought he was going to pass on this election season and retire from politics.

Does Ron Paul condone lying to win?

Ron Paul even in 2007 was always vague about running

He started this cycle the same way, not sure but time will see, sort of spin on it.

Does ron condone lying to win?

Do you condone burning all bridges before you guy even starts gaining ground?

I don't know why you think talking down on ron is going to make YOU win over gary votes?

too funny john

It always starts out the same way -

"Gary is a great option"

"I would NEVER vote for Gary, he's an imperfect libertarian"

"Well, Ron Paul isn't a perfect libertarian either because of x, y and z"

"Yes he is! Stop bashing Ron Paul!!! You're a bad man, you love Gary and hate Ron. I'm not going to vote for Gary Johnson and it's all your fault"

Pot calling the kettle black.....

You keep saying in threads that Ron is no longer running for President. Furthermore, it had been pretty clear since late 2009 that Ron was going to run again, even if he did not say so "officially"..

You are the worst kind of Johnson troll. Johnson is a globalist. You will have a better chance pushing him on some neo-con website. You certainly are not winning votes for him here with your constant slamming of Ron and Rand and their supporters. You should send your paycheck back to the Johnson campaign....He is wasting his money on someone as transparent as you.

Great interview!

I enjoyed it very much. :)

Gary Johnson is a fake.

He hasn't read any Hayek, Hazlitt, Friedman or Mises. He is totally controlled opposition under the Republicans.

For the last time.

He is commonly reffered to as Mises, everybody calls him Mises!

Just the same as Hayek is commonly refered to as Hayek, instead of von Hayek.

I suppose you would say the Mises Institute and all its scholars don't know what they are talking about because they refer to him as Mises...

Of all the Yankee activists

Of all the Yankee activists in behalf of statist "reform," perhaps the most formidable force was the legion of Yankee women, in particular those of middle- or upper-class background, and especially spinsters whose busybody inclinations were not fettered by the responsibilities of home and hearth.

Jane Addams was able to use her upper-class connections to acquire fervent supporters, many of them women who became intimate and probably lesbian friends of Miss Addams.

One of Jane Addams's close colleagues, and probable lesbian lover, at Hull House was the tough, truculent Julia Clifford Lathrop (b. 1858), whose father, William, had migrated from upstate New York to Rockford in northern Illinois.

Mary Rozet Smith, indeed, was able to replace Ellen Starr in Jane Addams's lesbian affection. She did so in two ways: by being totally submissive and self-deprecating to the militant Miss Addams, and by supplying copious financial support to Hull House. Mary and Jane proclaimed themselves "married" to each other.

The two other founders of the College Settlements were Katharine Coman (b. 1857), and her long-time lesbian lover Katharine Lee Bates.

Florence Kelley differed from her colleagues on two counts: (1) she was the only one who was an outright Marxist, and (2) she was married and not a lesbian.

Inspired by this example, however, three Yankee lesbians followed by founding the College Settlement Association in 1887

If the female social reform activists were almost all Yankee, by the late 19th century, Jewish women were beginning to add their leaven to the lump.

While she was not a Yankee, Lillian Wald continued in the dominant tradition by being a lesbian, forming a long-term lesbian relationship with her associate Lavina Dock.
