*Breaking* MA Delegates Rejected By Allocation Committee*

17 Liberty Delegates/Alternates have been not certified.

We are disappointed that the Allocation Committee would ignore the Republican voters of the Massachusetts Congressional Districts by refusing to even communicate with the delegates after numerous attempts to reach out to the allocation committee to discuss problems/issues with legality of the affidavit. The continued arrogant attitudes and clear manipulation of the rules by members of MassGOP leadership are a perfect example of why almost 90% Massachusetts residents refuse to be a Registered Republican and active in the Massachusetts Republican Party. Some elected delegates candidates had less than 40 hours to review, sign, notarize, and return an unprecented affidavit with an arbitrary deadline to MassGOP headquarters. Ultimately, many elected Ronald Reagan Unity Liberty slate delegate candidates that were just de-certified by the Allocation Committee had turned in the original, MassGOP affidavit before they met to make a decisions.
I am more disappointed that still, after last week’s endorsement of Governor Mitt Romney by Senator Rand Paul, a leader of the Republican Liberty movement, that the campaign staff of the Romney campaign would take the numerous olive branches offered by the ‘Ronald Reagan Unity Liberty Slate’, and continue to snap those olive branches in two, ignoring attempts for outreach and compromise, and just simply disenfranchising the voters and activists that could help Mitt Romney win in November’s General Election.
The mishandling of issues regarding the Provisional Ballots, 5th District Challenge, and Affidavits will only harden the resolve of the Liberty Caucus supporters, to work with the grassroots activists to re-build the Republican Party in Massachusetts, and help promote Liberty issues such as Auditing the Federal Reserve, and requiring Congressional Declaration of War to fund a war. Most likely, multiple challenges will be filed to the RNC rules committee, as the MassGOP leadership decides to waste its time and resources fighting with loyal, hardworking, grassroots activists rather than defeating Democrats.

I don´t much expect from Tampa

Frankly I don´t much believe that with the number of delegates Ron Paul has he can have much influence even on the GOP platform against the corrupted establishment with majority (Rmoney+Santorum+Gingrich delegates ~ 1500+), or even if the delegates would have some influence on platform I don´t believe the Romney establishment will follow it without Ron People given executive power and I more and more think that if the liberty movement doesn´t want to fragmentize after Tampa and wants to utilize its unity formed behind Ron Paul campaign and transform it into something really useful, then it should form a nationwide party. Sooner better than later.

Liberty Party

Could be formed by combining the best elements of Liberty movement with an existing political structure such as the LP. This is basically what happened in the 1840-50's. Originally there was the abolitionist Liberty Party which was ideologically "pure" which morphed into the Free Soil Party which focused on prohibition of extension of slavery to the territories which then became the Republican Party.

The Whigs collapsed. If we left en mass the GOP *could not win*. With total support from the Liberty Movement the Liberty Party would have the critical mass necessary to grow into a major party to effectively oppose the Republicrat's statism. We need to do this now before the movement, without Ron or Rand, fragments.

I believe now is the right time to start it, because now the movement is very much united behind Ron Paul for purposes of the presidential campaign. I would think, that if this unity would be used for the purposes of forming a "Liberty Party" it could prevent the movement to fragmentize.
I firmly believe the liberty movement doesn't equal GOP - it's beyond it and I would think most of its supporters aren't in fact classical republican party members and they support it conditionally - because they want to vote for Ron Paul in the presidential election to get the whole scale of ideas -as non-interventionism or ending the FED implemented and the liberty movement supporters who are classical republican party voters want the party to embrace the ideas and if then ultimately insuccessful with it they can be a good base for another party.

This makes the STING of ~~

Rand Paul's decision even more unbearable. This is grievously a very sad situation. I am so sorry for you. If only someone could help us in a meaningful way.

I'm happy about the RP Republican Attorneys and what they are doing, but that is a long process.

What shall we do in the meantime??

This would a fine opportunity

This would a fine opportunity for Rand Paul to come out with a new statement. It could state that due to continued hostility, disenfranchisement of voters and delegates, as well as outright election fraud perpetrated by Romney and the GOP at various levels, he finds he must rescind his endorsement of Mitt Romney. And, that he will do everthing he can to endorse and promote his father's campaign, as well as putting the full force of the Congress behind investigations of GOP and RNC election fraud, as well as the Romney campaign, his owner/funders, their manipulation of the media, the vote machines and tabulation software, the known malfunctioning ES&S machines, the violence-coercian-intimidation-lockouts of non-Romney delegates, supporters and voters.
There is a great media story, blows the lid off of the rigged elections, blows the lid off of the Romney/Bain/Goldman Sachs crime syndicate, and restores his own credibility as well as hugely benefitting his father's campaign.

Fireworks! A media firestorm! Winning!

RON PAUL 2012 * Restore America * Bring The Troops Home

Organize party?

-If nothing else something like that would scare Rmoney, because he knows very well he can't win WH without the votes from Ron Paul supporters.
They already organize national Ron Paul party in Tampa, selling the tickets now, so it just needs tables there with registration forms. ;)

It would simply force the GOP

to move MORE LEFT to get more people into the party. If we split, they would not waiste their time to get us back and would simply acquire a few Democratic platform items to draw from the Dems.

more so than today?

more so than today? impossible!

Why split the vote? If you

Why split the vote? If you are going to do this, then mobilize behind Johnson.

MassGOP Allocation Committee bounces delegates and alternates fo

Red Mass Group has learned that the Allocation Committee of the Massachusetts Republican State Committee has informed seventeen delegates and alternates that they are not qualified to go to the convention in Tampa. The reason given is failure to return the proper, signed, affidavit by the given deadline. Allocation Committee Chairman, Ed McGrath, told Red Mass Group in an emailed statement that, "no one who was elected as a delegate and who has followed the rules has been disqualified so far."

to the lawyers re the case

un ****ing believable!!!!!!!!!!!!

The continued arrogant

The continued arrogant attitudes and clear manipulation of the rules by members of MassGOP leadership are a perfect example of why almost 90% Massachusetts residents refuse to be a Registered Republican and active in the Massachusetts Republican Party.

I suspect that even many within the MA GOP party establishment will be upset by this decision. This isn't an issue of outsiders vs. insiders.

Whoever is behind this decision has priorities greater than the MA GOP.

Slow motion GOP train-wreck

There will be blow-back.

let rand clear this up

he has connections in romney's campaign!

It's time! Rand Paul 2016!

"Truth, Justice, and the American Way!"

If Rand did something, he

If Rand did something, he would certainly be unprecedented. He didn't lift a finger to help at the state conventions.

This is NOT Acceptable
