George Will says it will be a "Marathon"

His article doesn't mention Ron Paul. Maybe some of you folks can write to him politely about that:

letter sent as follows:

Dear Mr. Will,

Let's face it, to put it in baseball terms, the Republican Party is the NL and the Democrats are the Boston Red Sox. It doesn't matter what candidate you put up against the Democrats, with approximately 70% of the voting population being against the Iraq war, ALMOST all of the Republican candidates will get "swept."

Of course should the Republicans actually be as literate and familiar with history as you are, then they would know who the only candidate upholding the true traditions of that party is and just so happened to speak out and vote against the war as a member of congress at the time of the vote. Perhaps you could include that person in your future articles as you have uttered favorable things about him in the past and your words could be used to persuade the "base", a group seemingly more eager to follow means rather than priciple to gain power, that their team is destined to get clobbered unless they return to their fundamentals.

sincerely,

JJ
