Am tired of Gary Johnson posts.
We are in a campaign here for putting Ron Paul in the White House. Not Gary Johnson. We are here to push Ron Paul's ideas and political philosophies not Gary Johnson's.
Until this campaign comes to a close in any fashion. I feel the Gary Johnson posts should cease. By the continual posts that are being put on the Daily Paul promoting Mr. Johnson. People are actually turning off his possible support in the future. Let's finish one campaign at a time. We definitely are not over with this one yet.
People please ignore these posts... let them fade away...

Ron Paul 2012... On to Tampa!!!! We have the demon(Romney, """Santorum""", Gingrich and the establishment party) to slay!!!

I find it interesting how

I find it interesting how supposed libertarians refuse to recognize the sovereignty of Ron Paul on this website and push Gary Johnson. Do libertarians support mob rule (democracy, take over the site)? Or anarchy (no law, natural or otherwise)? Where is the respect for this website and Ron Paul?

[in whiny Gary Johnson voice]

"But we should do a cost/benefit analysis of the presence of Johnsavultures rather than strict ideology"

I was rooting for Johnson in the debates until I heard him annoyingly say "cost/benefit analysis" over and over. I am an ideologue and a Constitutionalist. No thanks. He doesn't sell liberty and he didn't make the sale with me. Never will.

Poor Taste Folks

Freedom allows all to voice their side of things. Banning posts about certain people from the #1 Liberty website doesnt reflect well of our member base. To me Johnson is in my top 5 guys. Hes better than Rand and about the same level as the Judge. His ideas are that of the liberty movement and I applaud him for filling the Libertarian Role. I think Pauls campaign would have done well to bring Johnson in early as a spokesperson rather than Benton. Save your hate for Rombomnians. We should still destroy the two party system from the minds of our fellow people, while we take this GOP over.

I'm not asking for

a ban.... I'm asking to let them die. There is a time and a place for a different campaign. We are working on the one for Ron Paul and his ideas. Not on Gary Johnson's campaign. When the time comes just like in 08. This board was full of support for third party candidates... But, that is when Ron Paul said it was over.. He has not stated that as to my knowledge. Thank you ... I know you understand... Your very competent!

About the same level as the Judge? Judge Who?

I know you don't mean Judge Andrew Napolitano, since your comment would be flat out absurd. Which Judge are you referencing?

Perhaps Johnson would have done better supporting Ron Paul on the front lines. At least that way we'd have given him a bit more consideration next go round.

When will people learn

When will these people get it through their heads, only topics related to Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, and President Obama are permitted on this site. Topics related to any other Presidential candidates in the race will not be tolerated here. This site is for Republican and Democrat candidates ONLY.

Suuuure.

I see. So, 500 delegates are going to magically turn into 1144.

If Gary Johnson wants to have

If Gary Johnson wants to have a large impact on the liberty movement, he should get re-elected as governor of New Mexico. As a State Governor he would have much more power and influence than a very small percentage player in the President's race. Having conservative, intelligent governor's like him around the USA is a very positive step.

He's Term Limited

Otherwise he'd still be governor.

Commerce with all nations, alliance with none.--Thomas Jefferson

In some states if you leave office, you can come back as Gov.

again. It's happened 3 times in Texas and Texas only became a state in 1845.

I have never understood it.

People say "he's like Ron Paul".
If you take any kind of a real investigation into Johnson, he's absolutely nothing like Ron Paul.

Johnson doesn't carry the liberty message.
And he's horribly uncharismatic and it's totally ludicrous that he could get elected.
There's just no upside.

Even with the claims that we should try to get him in the debates, you have to wonder why? He isn't going to show what a liberty candidate is anyway.

To me, he's a horrible candidate that has some support from desperate people who are LP zealots and can't see daylight.

Thes are not jonsen supporters

They are disinfo trolls some who live right here.

It's predatory behavior

Gary Johnson supporters think they smell blood over here and swoop in to pick DP apart.

If they have any respect, they'de make their own website and promote him there. Ron Paul did NOT drop out of the race.

Real eyes realize real lies

2012, we want our country back

2012 is the year for Ron Paul!

Yes! That's exactly it!

They are acting like vultures and I hate those nasty birds and all they represent. That's the turn off. Too creepy.

Thank you for helping me understand WHY I feel so turned off by their presence here!

Pushing Gary Johnson on this

Pushing Gary Johnson on this website is disrespectful. Moderators- Please consider suspending accounts that push other candidates besides Ron Paul.

fight the MEDIA blackout

"Moderators- Please consider suspending accounts that push other candidates besides Ron Paul".

No need to have moderators do it. Libertarians are big on self policing and may have already suspended their own subscriptions. If there's one lesson all of us have learned over the past 6 years is there is absolutely no reason for anyone in this movement to financially support media outlets that marginalize us and/or impose blackouts on us - regardless of whether it's coming from Fox, CNN, or Daily Paul, the sword cuts both ways. In that same vein, neither would I financially support any GJ site that marginalized and/or prohibited content related to Dr Paul, his supporters, or his campaign.

I have to laugh when I think about if Dr Paul had chosen not to run in 2012, how many of the people here would have backed Johnson for the GOP nomination over Romney, Bachmann, Perry, Santorum, Gingrich, Cain, Pawlenty, or Huntsman. But today he's the biggest pos politician to have ever not endorsed Mitt Romney for President.

WOW

Beat that freedom and liberty drum, bigpicture!
Freedom for all.... that agree with you.

Well this site is private property.

I'm not saying they aught to but they have no duty to host material shameless promoting another candidate no affiliated with Paul's campaign movement.

This guy wasn't arguing that anything should be done to impede Gary Johnson just that the resource that is this site aught not be used for such purposes.

Remember the rules don't say anything Paul wouldn't? well I doubt he'd say forget this lets vote Gary Johnson, even though we don't know enough about his views on U.S militarism...

Republicans crack me up.

"...affiliated with Paul's campaign movement"

Funny how in less than 18 months the liberty movement has transformed into the "Paul campaign movement". Hilarious! Think about how funny it was watching Ron Paul's R3volution Tea Party protest (2007) transformed first into the "Tea Party movement" (2009) and then the "Tea Party caucus" (2010) followed shortly thereafter by the "Tea Party Constituents" (2011). That was some knee slapping funny huh? You Republicans crack me up.

First choice.......RON PAUL

First choice.......RON PAUL 2012
Can't we wait until the Tampa Convention is over first.

Second choice......GJ

First choice?

Not in my book....Only Choice.

I respectfully disagree

I don't think pro-Gary Johnson posts have the effect of "turning off his possible support in the future." On the contrary, DP is a pro-Liberty forum and I think it's a terrific opportunity for us to learn about one of the three candidates that will definitely be on the ballot in November. I for one am strongly considering Johnson if Paul is not the nominee. So I appreciate hearing information on him. I expect I am not alone.

Ron Paul is my president. I am a Ron Paul Republican.

This is a Ron Paul site

The business at hand is getting as many RP delegates and alternates to Tampa on behalf of Dr. Paul and our movement. I would expect people to go to Mr. Johnson's site(s) to learn about him and discuss him with his supporters. Really people, this is getting tedious. All I can remember about this "liberty" candidate during some of the debates is I heard answers from him which turned me off. So, I choose not to view his website or consider him seriously. If I get to vote, it will be for Ron Paul. If RP with his vast support of enthusiastic and intelligent team cannot get a nomination, jeesh, you really think Johnson could win an election? First things first, imo.

The business at hand...

"The business at hand is getting as many RP delegates and alternates to Tampa on behalf of Dr. Paul and our movement."

Part of that business should be trying not to insult the 70 or so Ron Paul national delegates who happen to be full fledged members of the Libertarian Party. It's kind of in poor taste to court Romney delegates to join us, while referring to Libertarians as losers and vultures and telling them to shut-up, get lost, go away, go somewhere else. Also there are a few whales out here who are supporting both RP and GJ campaigns and their respective grassroots supporters projects and events with some major financial support. There may be investors who are considering providing backing for BOTH Paulfest and Freedom Fest who will not take sides they'll just pull the plug on their support for both.

And I'm not just saying this stuff to Paul supporters. I'm saying it to both camps. Fight nice. Y'all ain't gotta like each other but, in the fight, we all like family and you gotta love your family - even the ones you don't like. Save the hate for the enemy and the anger for the battlefield.

Yes but what is the real reason for this site?

It's not about the person Ron Paul but about Ron Paul's message - "peace, gold and liberty". GJ from what I've seen *is* about peace and liberty. And while I don't know that he talks about gold, I do know that he is a serious fiscal conservative and plans to balance the budget in 2013 (which is even quicker than Dr. Paul).

I agree, mostly!

Except, I will write in Ron Paul. This is an issue about freedom of thought and expression and if people do not want to discuss an issue or read about it DON'T CLICK on the link! Ignore the posts you do not want to read!

If you want info

on GJ, then why don't you go to the Daily GJohnson?
Oh, that's right, because NO ONE really cares enough about him to start such a blog.
And THAT'S the biggest problem with him - he has no real support. He's the scrap you feed to the neighborhood cats.
I am so sick of seeing that guy's name here he's become Mitt to me; I would NEVER vote for him.
He's being inserted here to distract and his supporters cause plenty of dissension here. Have you noticed all the down vote his followers give anyone who isn't all gung-ho for 'their guy'?
You want to 'hear information on him', go to his site, join his twitter feed and facebook page.
I, for one, want him off this site. ONLY:
RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL

With all due respect, I think you're missing the point

"And THAT'S the biggest problem with him - he has no real support. He's the scrap you feed to the neighborhood cats. I am so sick of seeing that guy's name here he's become Mitt to me; I would NEVER vote for him."

You say that GJ's biggest problem is that he has no real support. Does that mean you like his message but just not the messenger? If so, I'd like to remind you that even Dr. Paul would say that it's about the message, not the messenger. Don't get me wrong though. I back Ron Paul 1000% and would way rather have him in office than GJ. HOwever, I do think GJ is a liberty-minded candidate and I would NEVER lump him in with Mittens. My first choice is always going to be Ron Paul but I absolutely am considering voting for GJ if RP bows out of the race.
