Burning...Fiddling

I woke up today with this uneasy feeling that I just can't seem to shake. I've spent the last two hours just trying to determine if posting about it will be any help.

Why isn't more being done to put an end to the Obama administration prior to the election? Why isn't there more outrage at the unconstitutional acts of the current administration?

My uneasy feeling? It just appears that America is burning, the fire lit by Obama and fanned by his administration, while we seem to be "fiddling" around the edges with all sorts of peripheral issues.

Have we become complacent to the outrages, for example, yesterday's amnesty by executive order?

I'm guessing that the DP is probably not the best forum for expressing this outrage. We have bigger fish to fry... Republican party vs. third party, Rand in vs. Rand out, Conservative vs. Libertarian, troll hunting, etc. (Yes, that was a snarky comment. It's just the mood I'm in).

I am beginning to understand how easily it would be to fall onto the "anybody but Obama" bandwagon, a position that many of my friends and acquaintances have taken in their support for Romney as the best chance for ousting Obama. I don't intend to get sucked into that. I will vote principle and not party.

I know that all good things take time... the problem is, we have so little time.

My rant/vent is over. Carry on the battle for LIBERTY!

You are right in feeling uneasy.

Stealth Obama is pushing everything he can that is on the elite Bilderberg agenda while the nation is busy being distracted by other "matters" such as wars, the economy, the coming election. He is stealing the store, giving himself more dictatorial powers by the day.

If Romney wins the presidential election, he will inherit these powers and continue the agenda. God help America and the world. The Liberty movement, with Ron Paul as president is the only hope.

The agenda is unfolding globally. In Europe national sovereignty is being lost in the name of economic "security"; the bankers pushing for one big government and one big Central Bank (like the FED) for the Euro Union.

What is happening in the Middle East; Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya, Syria, Iran; all part of a plan for POWER and control by the international banker elitists, and the US military is the main TOOL in this operation; at the tax payers expense.

We all know about the plan; at least the thinkers do. Others don't want to know because it might mean having to do something about it. Easier to call it conspiracy.

Liberty and freedom; the only hope globally. Ron Paul for President

Show of Congressional outrage

The last attempt was March of 2012, HR107, over using troops in Libya. Referred to the House Judiciary Committee.

Suggest outrage

Depending on how the Holder impeachment comes out, I think Obama will come into the sites of the congress - however as slow as they are, it would not be before the election.

If we have masses turn out for the rally in Tampa, it could signal the elite that we all probably have a gun at home, buying us some time for the election to be influenced. We need a huge turnout.

Secession could be an option for liberty loving states. Didn't work to well the last time. Might buy some time or leverage if you want to call it that. The ultimate outrage!

No more war!

Recall

Someone asked me the other day, "Why can't we recall the President like we can have recall elections for Governors?" I stated that the Constitution doesn't allow for recall, only impeachment. Given that we know the Dems and Reps are two sides of the same coin, I would surmise that impeachment wouldn't get very far in today's Congress, because party would prevail over evidence of law-breaking.

From Wikipedia:
"The Constitution defines impeachment at the federal level and limits impeachment to "The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States" who may be impeached and removed only for "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors". Several commentators have suggested that Congress alone may decide for itself what constitutes a "high crime or misdemeanor".[citation needed] In 1970, then-House Minority Leader Gerald R. Ford defined the criterion as he saw it: "An impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history.""

Hasn't our country been betrayed? Isn't bowing to the wishes of lobbyists just another form of bribery? Can't one of the few liberty loving Congressmen or Senators, whose Constitutional powers have been stripped by the executive order, come up with evidence of a high crime or misdemeanor based on Ford's criterion?

I'm convinced there are 2 constitutions

The original one and a a mirror image of it with just a few suble changes. The original one (from what I have read) has laid dormant for over 100 years and was replaced with the "new" one that is actually the constitution for the united states of america corporation. I found this very hard to beleive when I first came across it, but nothing I have found so far has disproven this "theory".

Yeah, they kinda got us over

Yeah, they kinda got us over a hard spot this time. Stick with Obama and watch him do things every week that nobody was thinking he would do, or go with Mitt Romney who is desperate to start more trillion dollar wars.(Of course Obama is probably going to start them anyway)

We have a choice between two types of busy body, meddlers. The moral protector meddlers or the collectivist social meddlers. Anytime you hear the word "bi-partisan", means they figured out how to do both at once! See? Everybody got what they wanted!

I have to admit that I am truly stumped about which is the lesser of two evils on this one.

The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. - Heinlein

The answer is

We've lost ... in the short term anyhow. The economy will collapse and a huge economic dictatorship will ensue. Then people will BEG for a Ron Paul but the dictatorial govt will not allow it God knows what will happen then. head for the mountains with lapua sniper rifles. wait it out.

I'm still not convinced the State can deal with all Americans

once they wake up. Most of my friends are proud "Country Boy Can Survive" type people who love their guns, their whiskey, their family and their country. I don't see much back down from any of them.

But, I could be wrong. I just don't think I am. Since I've been driven into poverty, I've met a lot of new people. These people are mostly like me...they had their shit stolen from them by the 2008 meltdown.

We are a very happy but humble group...the one constant is that we all know who is to blame. I feel very safe where I'm at.

What I don't get is this;

Why doesn't every RP supporter and/or supporter of the constitution and the rule of law just start to live their lives accordingly? I do, but my asleep friends think I'm crazy and tell me I'm going to end up in jail.

The legitimate powers of the government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. The government and their enforcers should neither pick my pocket nor break my legs. - Paraphrased Thomas Jefferson quote.

I earned 100k in 2008 then lost my job. In 4 years I have lost my home, waverunners, all but 1 car, sold everything else of value that I used to have and now live in a motel that has a mini kitchen. With my bachelors degree I now work 25 hours doing a job that high school students typically do on summer break. (it's at the beach so it's not all bad) but anyway...I live broke. I cannot afford insurance on my car but I travel in it anyway. Obviously no health insurance or any savings, 401k, etc.

Also, I refuse to get a REAL ID liscense. The only taxes I pay are sales taxes.

In my mind I live in Ron Paul country. I do nothing illegal and if I am put in a cage for being driven into poverty...well, all I can say is it wouldn't suprise me too much considering how most of the people I know are too afraid of the State to stand up for themselves by refusing to fund an out of control corporate facist government that yeilds unrestrained state power. Fuck the criminal rulers. I know what's right and whats wrong and I will choose how to live my life.

As long as my behaviors do not injure or damage someone's property...leave me the Fuck alone!

Ironically my wife and I have never been happier. We love this minimal lifestyle without all the stress of being stuck on a hamster wheel. I'd like a better income but at nearly 50 years old...I'm pretty happy just chilling online and relaxing. Takin a walk on the beach or just doing nothing is cool with me. I'm enjoying watching history unfold right before my eyes...online of course. Our TV is used to hold up my wireless router...the TV rarely gets turned on. (I watch Nascar occasionally) If TV was not provided to us for free by the motel...I wouldn't have it.

I just wish RP would do a speech like yesterday and say "Our Government has been usurped!" It is now time for all Americans to surround them, igore them, betray them, stop funding them, etc. Maybe, just maybe, that is what RP IS saying...but we are too dumb to hear it.

Since most of you here are already "Awake"...I will end with "THINK"! What changes can YOU make that will stop the flow of money into the hands of the criminals who have taken over this country? Many say they will fight to their death for freedom but I don't know but a couple people who will stand up to the State by refusing to follow their unjust orders and demands for MORE cash from us. If you don't stand up to the State, your children will be slaves to the people YOU were too afraid of to confront.

In LIBERTY - GO RON PAUL - PEACE!

The economy has defeated him already

The more he speaks the more he digs holes for himself

Wait until July, it will be an interesting month for drama indeed

I am on the fence a little if Obama being ousted or stay (meaning until the election/debates) not re-election

Who would they prop up as the Dems nominee if he is out before the convention?

"anybody but Obama" God how can people be willing to accept "anybody" it blows my mind.

It would be great to get other opinions

Good post, but as Jefferson

Good post, but as Jefferson kind of noted, I will quote Billy Joel: "We didn't start the fire". And Barry Soetero sure didn't either. Both parties take turns raping the Constitution with different methodologies.

I agree that this country has gotten too complacent. Even our remnant is FAR too complacent if we think we have 30 years to vote on principle and get one bill passed, like Ron Paul. That was the start, but it isn't the end, not if liberty is to prevail. I'm sure Ron Paul would tell you that himself in private. I love Ron Paul, but it's apparent a tide bigger than Ron Paul came along in recent times and carried him to where he is now. He certainly didn't change, we did.

I know it may be way too early to consider what to do in the time we have left if Ron Paul doesn't win the nomination, but I hear from many people(even Ron Paul supporters) that we soon may have to start thinking that very thought. Like the rest of you, I wish there was time to slowly take over the GOP at the respectable pace that shows the virtue of patience we have. Even if we ignore the NDAA, the kill list, the Patriot Act, numerous executive orders, the alleged FEMA camps, and all the liberty eroding before our eyes, hyper-inflation and economic collapse look to be quite probable.

I don't expect the uninformed masses to do anything if we have no plans. It kind of feels like we are waiting for the great pumpkin. I wonder why the CIA doesnt start rebellion here like the do in so many other countries. I keep hearing thats what they want us to do, so could someone elaborate why they don't do it here where they would have the ease of not having to hire and train foreign impostors like they do elsewhere? I'm being sincere, I'm curious about that.

Even if calamity wakes the masses up, the MSM has them so brainwashed that their anger is likely to be redirected. We can't look to the masses to start anything, we need to be the ones educating them out of 1984 and Brave New World.

Ah, well said.

My son told me a friend told him (the friend's family supports Ron Paul) that his family did not like GW Bush but at least Bush was better than Obama. I told my son that was a HUGE misunderstanding on many people's part - Obama's actions are merely an extension of what Bush (and his predecessors) started. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME.

Why we need Ron Paul.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

Your son is fortunate to have

Your son is fortunate to have a father like you! My father is a great man with a big heart, but he grew up in a time when Americans were more trusting, so it is I who am doing my best to show him that this is really like a pro-wrestling match. I mean, he put effort into convincing me that wrestling was fake, now it is my turn to do the same for him. Sadly, like wrestling, they have worked hard to make politics entertaining enough for many people to pick a side to root for loyally.

Are you serious? Who the hell has time to worry about

who?

who?

Ron Paul is the only antidote to Obama

That's why he MUST be the nominee. When RP debates Obama, Obama will be toast.

Jefferson's picture

That's how

they herd the cattle back and forth.

Before BHO, it was anyone but GWB.

They hand the ball back and forth from red team to blue team, but they keep moving the ball in the same direction.

That direction is more debt, more spending, more slavery, more consolidation of power and natural resources, less freedom, less sovereigntly, etc.

It is the globalist system being implimented through our corrupt out of control Govt. that has been infiltrated by AIPAC and other foreign and banking interests.

While they keep us polarized and bickering with each other, they carry on behind the scenes with an agenda that was put in place a long time ago.

This is only a part of it

This would explain the Republican party's attempts to suppress infiltration by the liberty movement. But even if we gain a small foothold in the Republican party, will not our minority interest continue to be stifled by the powers that be which you cited? It sounds like a good argument for a viable third party, free from all globalist influences. Didn't the Tea Party start out in this direction before it was co-opted by neocons? They seemed at one time to express the outrage, something that we are not seeing now.
