Call Your Senators, Tell them to Support Rand's BillsSubmitted by Jaktober on Sat, 06/16/2012 - 13:49
I just called my Senator's (Feinstein) office in San Francisco and asked her to support both Rand's bill to Audit the Fed, and Wyden's Amendment to the Farm Bill that would legalize industrial hemp.
Next, I will contact the Emken campaign (Feinstein's sole opponent in November's election), and say something to the effect of,
"I just contacted Sen. Feinstein's office asking her to vocally support Sen. Paul's bill to Audit the Fed, and to co-sign the Wyden amendment (S.AMDT.2220), legalizing industrial hemp. I will be basing my vote for U.S. Senate this year on which candidate will support the efforts on Sen. Paul on the issues of Auditing the Federal Reserve, Legalizing Industrial Hemp, and Ending Indefinite Detention."
If we all push our Senate Candidates to support Rand's work in the Senate, then we start pushing the entire system our way.
The more positive stories about Rand's work post "compromise" may help win over those delegates at the convention to our cause. "See, we can work with the Party and win over support for the issues you think Ron can't get anything done on. Imagine this newly empowered Rand in the Senate with Ron in the White House.
