History repeats.....
The Vietnam war was justified by the Gulf of Tonkin incident, when North Vietnamese speedboats reportedly attacked a US Navy patrol. Funny thing is, we learned decades later that the whole thing was staged by the US.....
But remember, we are the good guys, so it's all OK.....
that's why Dr. Paul's arguments are so important
War should be the last resort of any crisis and why the founding fathers gave Congress the right and duty to make Declarations of War before getting involved. Over the last 50 years or so, they have abdicated that responsibility and given the Executive Branch all these vauge "authorities" to conduct military operations.
Sometimes war may be necessary, but if it has to pass muster in a more rigorous method, it will not be entered into so easily.
If I recall, Truman went into Korea with nothing but a UN resoluition...I don't think we ever declared war on North Korea.
We need to follow the Constitution.

I can certainly believe that Bush (really neocon's surrounding him) wants to attack Iran courtesy of marching orders from Israel but this poster just makes a blanket statement to that effect.

Iran rhetoric getting hotter, Pakistan too!
It is obvious that Iranians are bing portrayed as belligerent with their um, thats right, speedboats? Looked more like the fleet pulling into the Port of Miami. Political unrest in Pakistan now justifies examining a wider US role there. Wow, just invade these two more countries and we've got the middle east in a complete ball-grab. The drumbeat has gotten louder and soon the X-Box generation will be marching on Tehran with their RFID draft cards.

What are you talking about?
This is basically his last year in office, he doesn't really need to stay there for long, just long enough to send a few missles into Iran and he can leave when his term is over.
It's not like Congress is going to stop him, Iraq set the precident, Congress doesn't have to vote to go to war.
