He said he would gladly support a recount if he had the funds, so I called the Granny Warrior and gave him his contact info and then I just gave Albert her contact info. The Granny Warrior has all ready raised more than the money needed for a recount. We will have our cake and eat it too, a recount without involving the good doctor one bit!

I was also contacted by someone who seemed to think there was not a problem with the money. I put him in contact with Albert.
I heard many different numbers; first that it might cost as much as $67,000 but now $12,000.
Anyone have the exact amount?

After talking with Albert Howard myself today from what I understand it takes $2000 to start the recount, but with NH laws, if the candidate is less than 3% from the top, they are required to pay for the entire "Costs" of the Recount which involve Police and supporters going to every Precinct to unlock the boxes. So I would guess...that they will make it hard, and require $XX,XXXX to finish. So please people...Donate now!!

They cover their tracks
These Diebolt machines when infected cover their tracks. You expect a recount to actually work? You need a move back to paper ballots or have your elections monitored by a neutral country like they do in third world countries.
That, or learn to play as dirty as they do. More libertarians with technical know how than the Republican hacks.

There were no touch screen in New Hampshire, they were ALL optical scan machines.
This means the Voters filled in a bubble sheet and fed the bubble sheet into the scanner. The bubble sheets are a paper ballot and theoretically still exist in a locked box, they just have to be hand counted.

How can we Verify what you say is true? I checked his website and nothing in it suggests a recount. Nothing in the media, nothing online except your word.
Other Threads have suggested that the GrannyWarrior site has collected enough money for the recount and I just left the site and it states they have only collected 9% of funds needed.
I'm getting very disturbed reading through these posts on DailyPaul it seems a lot are either contradicting others and are also misinformed. We ALL Need to get on the same page and I really hope this post isn't a ploy to get the RP supporters focused on a NH Recount (that isnt' gonna happen?) and to keep us away from moving Forward to get the Messege out to the upcoming States. Why am I reading and seeing posts that are saying and suggesting the complete opposite or misleading or whatever. Please Let's Stay ontop of the Facts.

Clarification
They have enough money for the paperwork to be filed. However, as for the actual count itself, it costs a lot more.

Which ever candidate is going to submit the request, needs to file for an injuction a New Hampshire Court to extend the Filing time and have the Sherrif of Manchester take possesion of the Votes. The votes need to be placed in a Cell in the County Jail with 3 Armed Guards and 2 enlisted members of the N.H. National Guard...

If you go to the original thread about granny starting a collection for the recount effort http://www.dailypaul.com/node/23705 you can see that there is a post from her today stating that they are going to austin to talk to the media and gop people but nothing about Albert Howard and if you look at her chart showing donations it shows she is far from "all ready raised more than the money needed for a recount." Also the Albert Howard site had no info on a recount when I checked a few minutes ago.
I realise that I have only been a member of the forums for a couple of days (finally had to use yahoo mail to be able to recieve the email to confirm my info for forum registration) but the original poster of this thread has been a member for like 13 hours, that along with the fact that so much of the info doesn't mesh out with either granny warriors posts/website that it makes me highly suspicious of this post.

but if the person contesting the vote count loses by more than 1% the candidate in most cases is expected to pay all the costs of the recount.
there is another thread somewhere where I have corrected this $500 figure.It has a link to the NHgov site with recount info where you can read it for yourself.

The official procedure for counting the ballots is initially within the responsibility of the town and ward moderators. Disputes may thereafter be referred to the Secretary of State. Within five days after the election, any person of any party for whom a vote was cast at the presidential primary may ask for a recount. Only two recounts have been held since 1952, both in 1980.
The fee for a presidential recount is $500. But subject to other restrictions not detailed here, the complainant will usually have to pay the entire cost of the recount if he lost by more than one percent of the votes cast. On the other hand, if he wins by reason of the recount, then he is refunded all fees paid at the time of filing.
The Secretary and his assistants conduct the recount. The candidates, their counsel and assistants have the right to inspect the ballots and participate in it.
If dissatisfied with the ruling of the Secretary of State, a candidate may appeal to the member Ballot Law Commission for a hearing on the questions involved. In most areas of ballot disputes the Commission has the final decision-making authority to settle such issues.

Got a PAC? Got documentation for each individual donation?
The rules require Albert (or someone running) to request it.
It doesn't require Albert to pay for it neccesarily, the check can come straight from the granny warriors to the State of NH, who would question that as an illegal campaign contribution?

If the Albert campaign requests it and Granny pays for it, THAT is a campaign donation to Albert!!!! ANY expenditure on ANY project that has had ANY control or oversight from a campaign is a contribution to that campaign. If Albert orders the recall, whoever contributes to the cost is making a contribution to the Alber campaign. Did you really think the campaign finance laws were that easy to circumvent?
