Turning point

The world doesn't see it yet... but we'll look back at the May 2007 exchange with Giuliani and recognize it as a turning point in American politics. Many brushfires were lit in the minds of men that night.

Brian Doherty, start truly defending liberty over at Reason!

And start giving Ron Paul more respect at Reason too. Reason has been completely disrespectful and dishonest about Ron Paul.

Until then I will not buy your book, nor anything promoted by Reason rag or any of it's editors.

Have you visited Reason in

Have you visited Reason in the last few months? Doherty has been constantly making posts about Ron Paul, to the point that the commenters make jokes about it. While some people at Reason may be establishment sellouts, it's unfair to paint everyone there as such, and it's not like their commentary on Romney and Obama is glowing

a quote from Brian in the interview that best sums up who

Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul is?

when discussing why it is that when his supporters/r3VOL activists are so eager to have Dr. Paul himself 'advertise' to the rest of the sheeple in GOP that IN FACT, he had been the SOLE person who has been prescient about EVERY econ and foreign AND domestic malaise that have become true, and we are all currently suffering from actions of those who did not heed his warnings, that Dr. Paul himself doesn't 'advertise' more??

Brian Doherty at around 26min40sec mark: "He [Ron Paul] is congenitally incapable of bragging."

Talk about a forever humble, and honorable soul.

Oh yeah, I was one of those who sooooo wished that whenever he was on TV or radio, that he would've reminded America more of that about himself.

But, as with so much about the Doc, he is who he is, and I for one love him for it, regardless.

Predictions in due Time...

"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy." - Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul

Kurt ~ Great interview!

Kurt ~ Great interview! Thanks. You should really write a book with that title "Ron Paul Ruined My Life." You'd get all kinds of people picking that up just to see what you mean. Could reach a few neocons with a title like that.

Blessings )o(

Thank you for listening.

Thank you for listening. Always get a chuckle when I share that with people in the liberty movement. None of us will ever be the same as we can never unlearn truth. :)

Building a new outpost

Please follow our efforts in building a German outpost of the worldwide liberty movement. News will be presented in English, too. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Libert%C3%A4re-Revolution/318...

He says it is obvious that this election chances are over. ...I'm paraphrasing.... I disagree

Last I remember Doherty (from Reason) was not a fan of RP

Maybe I'm wrong? I seem to remember some critical articles, comments, and Rockwell linking to some of them in the past.

So is he just trying to capitalize on Ron Paul, while trying to keep Reason.com or himself relevant, or is he a genuine supporter now?

Doherty has been a supporter since the 1980s

I think you are confusing him with someone else. I remember Brian at Ron Paul's 1988 speech at the University of Florida where we were both students. The book tells some of Doherty's story too. He has been following Ron Paul both as a libertarian and a journalist since that time.

Ron Paul ... forever.
