I remember very well your intelligent post and agreed with you
wholeheartedly, but knew also there was nothing that could be done to reach that beast.
Join with us in this effort.
The "righteous" mutiny is for ALL the Liberty Movement grassroots. This is our time. Help us get to 2000 plaintiffs. We can still get Dr. Paul the nomination.
At least this thread is thrushing out the trolls
Trolls can't write the things they do and still pretend to be animated by the spirit of Liberty.
Indeed,
and there is a better string that has been archived.

IN RE plaintiffs…
Don't you need ~30 to fulfill the (class) requirement for a class action lawsuit?
The more I look at this, sadly I feel like there is a reason Mr. Grand Strategy himself, Karl Rove, has been so quiet lately...
and the saga of the “puppet-master”, the “pied-pipers”,
...and the hordes of “useful idiots”, continues...
dulce bellum inexpertis
Porter:"Help us get to 2000 plaintiffs"
2000 Plaintiffs= 2000 Delegates?
Some known...some stealth.
Is this the agenda of this "Lawyer" for RP?
Aren't enough Plaintiffs involved for this to be effective?
Don't be manipulated Porter...TPTB may be using your disappointment with the Official Campaign to use you.
....and you should know better...please reconsider this.

The plaintiffs don't have to be national delegates
We have thousands of delegates to county, district and state conventions. That is just where we are starting. ANYONE who experienced election fraud can be a plaintiff. We even have one person who experienced it a the precinct meeting.
The national campaign was infiltrated from the beginning. They were not in this to get Ron Paul the nomination. These are the same folks who appointed State Coordinators who were so destructive in the states. All we are doing is calling on the Liberty Movement to move forward at national level in spite of the national campaign "leadership," just like they have had to do at the state levels.
Front Page, really?
There is nothing wrong with pursuing lawsuits--but this kind of stuff really makes us look kooky to have on the front page. The problem here is that this is such a huge collection of conspiracy theories--it's like moths to a flame--collecting all of the armchair campaigners.

Is that you, Jesse? Tyrgve?
Newsflash: the Paul campaign never was about you. It's always been about the Ron Paul grassroots and the country. You dropped the ball. We've picked it up and are running for the goal line! Thanks for wasting millions of dollars of our hard earned money playing footsie with Romney. Best you step aside now. We've got a country to save.
:)
I just want to maintain a degree of unpopular sanity on this forum! What do any of us really know about the inner-workings of the campaign? I mean really, really know? Another thing to remember is that a business, campaign or even the Daily Paul is not run effectively by a democracy (a tyranny of the majority).
I did meet a person who was contacted as an advisor to the campaign early on---this person put forward a contact who expressed interest in developing the campaign's email/social media marketing strategy. This contact had been a part of the team who developed the highly effective email marketing for Obama in 2007. The campaign was unresponsive reportedly, preferring to stick with people they trusted rather than professionals who were the best at what they did.
Now, I don't even know if this story is true, but it comes from a trustworthy source...but who knows?
What is important is building coalitions of people and maintaining contact with known supporters in your area. We can go on and on about how this and that should have been done---but don't lose sight of the slow and steady growth and bridge building happening at the local level. It's always a temptation to go to the local pub and talk with those who are spreading rumors about folks in upper management. I just don't find that path to be fruitful.

This is typical of the gross incompetence/sabotage encountered.
I've also talked with several prominent broadcast and internet radio host who repeatedly asked the campaign PR people to bring Ron Paul on. Their requests were just as often ignored. Calling the campaign's actions incompetent is really misleading, though. It is sabotage, pure and simple. They betrayed Dr. Paul and the Liberty Movement.
Yeah no sh1t.
"Wasting millions of our hard earned money"....you are correct.
Time for them to step aside, no doubt.

I like the fact that
these lawyers and this whole grassroots effort doesn't care about Rand Paul's future. All good to Rand and wish him the best in the direction he is choosing to try to work in liberty.... but that doesn't matter one bit to 2012 and what went down - kudos to these folks and all who have dirt on the GOP to bring it to light. Really hoping for the best. Watch your backs. Onward!
I love people fighting, but
I love people fighting, but let's keep it truthful. Porter that is not being truthful.
Two things.
1. Ron Paul did NOT have a money bomb AFTER he suspended his campaign.
2. Ron Paul did NOT agree that Romney was the presumptive nominee back in March. They just did not object to the RNC raising money for Romney. This was explained by Paul on one of the shows. Forget which one.
3. You don't get Federal protection because you filed a lawsuit. Nonsense..
Don't call it "lawyers for Ron Paul" if they are no lawyers
Who is paying for the lawsuit? It could millions of dollars for a bond to be put up pursuant to FRCP 65. Is it really serious? Why sin't anyone asking questions?
If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...
previous interview post
if you look at the previous interview that was posted last week sometime, the lawyers stated they were doing this pro bono.
Pro bono means THEY are doing
Pro bono means THEY are doing it for free, but there is still a cost involved. Like serving 100 defendants. Like posting a bond that could cost millions of dollars. You think the attorneys are gonna pay for that?
BTW< it is ONE lawyer who filed the suit.
If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...
It is vital that facts are
It is vital that facts are absolutely straight up correct or it dilutes your whole arguement!Everything stated then becomes suspect, regardless of how right and just our cause.
In addition to Brian's comments, he made another statement regarding injuries that were sustained by the two RP supporters who were arrested in LA. Hhe stated broken fingers and a hip injury as injuries sustained by one - the gentleman who was voted in to chair the convention who was then arrested, but this is not accurate, it was another RP supporter who's hip was injured.
Details like Brian and I have brought up are important. They must be absolutely correct or the arguement is lost. I hope they catch this stuff!
If my need to be RIGHT is greater then my desire for TRUTH, then I will not recognize it when it arrives ~ Libertybelle
Let them fight....
Let's see if they can unbind the delegates. Why fight against it?
By the way...
1. The Ron Paul campaign did have a money bomb after he stopped actively campaigning in primaries.
2. The Ron Paul campaign did not fight against the RNC's raising money for Romney's general election campaign in March, and they gave the RNC permission do do so. This allowed the RNC to declare Romney the presumptive nominee because they are not allowed to raise money for a candidate's general campaign unless that candidate is the presumptive nominee.
Im not fighting them. Im
Im not fighting them. Im asking questions and correcting them on theirs.
Paul did not suspend his campaign. He explained that they weren;t gonna spend money in big states and use the money to get delegates. so no that was a wrong statement.
And no, they did NOT agree that Romney was the presumptive nominee. ALl that was, was RNC raising money for Romney.
I don't think people around Paul did a perfect job, but that doens't mean others should distort the facts.

Interview with "Lawyer For Ron Paul" but no lawyer present? What gives?
Can someone name the lawyers for me that are involved? So far I can't find anyone. Except one that filed a suit in California.
And if you gonna vote this question down, have the balls to give me the answer...

It's the same lawyer who filed the suit.
It's the same lawyer who filed the suit. And I made the point of it being ONE lawyer, not LAWYERS... They make it sound like here is a coalition around the country of attorneys.

Because You've Asked a Legitamite Question
..the "patriots" here downvoted you..funny how desparate they are.
And it's now clear that LFRP and allies rely upon one thing:
........DECEPTIVE PUBLIC RELATIONS.................
Porter Davis has spent a lifetime in PR.
PR is a term originated by Sigmund Freud's Nephew, to deceive the masses and shape perception. It was used in this extent by the NAZI:National Socialist Party.

Staircase wisdom
is always appealing to some. Ludwig von Mises noted how many low-level employees think that their bosses and foremen do not do their best and they themselves have a better idea how to run things.
Porter, in his infinite wisdom, suggested Benton to protest the bad treatment by the media. He forgot that all debates were "favors" from the private entities. They are not part of official election campaign. The media disqualified RP from further debates in 2008 and Gary Johnson this year, but allowed less popular candidates to continue.
If Benton had listened to Porter then (and fought the media) and the media stopped inviting RP for debates, Porter would have suggested today that Benton alienated the media needlessly out of lack of experience.
