Is Campaign for Liberty ignoring Justin Amash?
Submitted by David A Dudenhoefer on Tue, 06/19/2012 - 11:41I am curious as to why I never see articles or mentions of Justin from the national Campaign for Liberty. In fact, Justin in addition to being endorsed by Dr. Paul, has stood just as strong on liberty issues as Dr. Paul. Unlike any other politician including Dr. Paul, Justin posts ALL of his votes on his Facebook page for all to see and to add input. Justin has NEVER missed a vote, neither while he was in the state house (Michigan) or in the federal house. Justin is the model for the type of leadership that we would all like to see.
Recently, Justin has devoted his energy to bringing awareness as well as to shred the worst parts of the NDAA. The Smith-Amash amendment to the NDAA would have ended any possibilities of indefinite detention of U.S. citizens and detention without habeus corpus.
In addition, it is insulting that C4L would send emails to members from Justin's district to "encourage Justin to support C4L backed legislation" when Justin is working with us to pass such legislation.
I do not want to see the sole focus on Rand Paul in the Campaign for Liberty moving forward. We need more lead ins from other liberty leaders like Justin on issues that come up in which C4L chooses to engage in. I hope that any of you who are members encourage the leadership to include the future of this movement (which is here) in on more of the focus.
This of course is not write that Justin is somehow perfect, but neither is anyone else, including Dr. Paul.
Connect with Jusin's Facebook page if you have not already to see his latest votes with explanation.

I like him.
I get the same emails, when my Congressman is almost always voting with Ron Paul's positions too. I don't see this as any "insult" but just the facts of mass mailings.
However, the people here on DP seem to not be in much of a mood for forgiveness, as they've viciously thrown Rand under the bus.
And since Amash voted for 4133, maybe they are giving him the same treatment here.
Maybe that's why your thread didn't receive much attention.
This is a tough crowd. Zero-tolerance, it seems.
I am surprised that this did not go farther
I would have liked to see more people on this and understanding the importance as we move forward.
